We searched everywhere and our last stop was the church.

"Hayley!" we yelled opening the doors. i covered my mouth when i saw . Nik was holding a very dead Hayley in his arms.

"No!" I rushed over and felt for anything a faint heartbeat so I could do something.

"She's gone" Elijah kneeled next to me

"You were Bitten" he stated

"I healed him" I replied hollowly. Hayley didn't deserve to die, she didn't deserve what the witches did.

"Elijah lift her up onto the table" i order removing the bloody cloth. He lifted her up and I smoothed out her dress.

"How did this happen?" Elijah asked

"I was bested"

"You was bested?! My invincible brother" I felt a jabbing pain in my stomach.

"They have our baby, but there is still time"

"then we should go" I let out a yelp of pain holding my stomach

"Bethany" Elijah rushed over as I turned around.

"We have to get to the cemetery it's where they'll be." I grunted in pain again.

"What wrong?" Nik asked

"Oh nothing just contractions, no bigie lets go" I tried to leave

"Bethany you're in labour"

"I know but I've place a hex on the witches I just haven't completed it to the other witches yet. So I need to activate it myself. I'm sure Anthony can hold on a little longer. Now I can't run properly so Elijah you'll have to take me" he did nothing

"Now!" I yelled he sighed and took me speeding to the cemetery we walked around searching everywhere.

"Tombs are empty, the grounds are deserted they're not here" Elijah said

"This is the only place they can be we'll keep searching." Nik replied

"They are not here Niklaus we are wasting time"

"Shut it, their harvest was here. The reaping was here. They are about to perform a ritual which will feed their ancestors for centuries, ancestors who are buried here" I then groaned in pain.

"How far apart?"

"Far enough to keep going but not far to say I'll get somewhere comfortable." I breathed groaning in pain. I held onto Elijah tightly

"This statue. We've passed by this three times, all whiles going in the same direction" I panted

"What if they've fabricated some kind of illusions" there was a whoosh

"You could say that." I breathed I contentment as the pain stopped.

"We try different directions and using a stone we mark if we return to the same place" I chucked one to Nik.

"You're it"

It was morning now and we had been walking around for ages. I had to rest as Nik marked the wall again.

"It's ingenious. I can see them I can feel them and yet they are not real."

"We need to get through somehow"

"We just to focus"

"I only want to focus on my wife and child but she is hell bent on killing the witches and saving your child. And the only reason I'm multi tasking focus' is for her so I have two priorities getting your child to safety and doing the same for my wife."

"I'm right here you know, and I'm only doing this because I know Hayley would do the same if the roles were reversed"

"But it's not" he stressed

"Elijah that child is not as protected a privileged as Daniel. Witches think she is good for only one thing and she doesn't deserve that. So do me a favour and try to be productive" I yell

"Fine" he turned to Nik

"Brother this was the world you created. All of your scheming, the enemies you have made every day of you miserable life..."

"Elijah!" I scolded

"What he's trying to say is that some are doing this to punish you, your little girl is your hope at becoming someone better. The children, our children are the first born Mikaelson's in 1,000 years will be the bridge that unites a family."

"Then let's go get my daughter" we set off again and went through a tomb.

"we've passed through her twice already, we're running out of time" i whimper feeling another contraction.

"okay 10 minutes apart i might actually have a baby in a cemetery." I breathed

"then we'll move faster" Nik stated

"Or smarter" we heard a voice I looked up and saw Hayley. I walked over to her

"Hayley. How are you here?" I ask

"I woke up in the church. I felt this hunger. I knew what I needed...I can feel her" she spoke

"She's here...I can feel my baby" she walked further in

" You died with the babies blood in your system. She's in transition" Nik told us

"Which means she has to drink the blood of the child to survive" Elijah breathed

"To be born a hybrid I don't care about me. I'm going to find our daughter." We left and followed Hayley. We found them soon enough

"No! she yelled and I used my magic throwing a stone pot at them which hit Genevieve. The two others grabbed hands and forced the three back I lifted my hands i fought with everything i had left.

"Qetsiyah! Cleo! hell even Silas! Help me!" I knew my eyes turned silver as I became the witch within. But it didn't last long because even contractions could affect my deepest concentration. I couldn't complete the triqetta hex.

"You'll have to kill them one by one" i screamed i saw Elijah come over to me as Nik stomped round and threw something at one of the witches through my pained haze I could see Monique take the dagger and raise it above the baby until she stopped. Then someone blurred past us and I saw...
