I woke up the next day and trotted into Sophia's room but she wasn't there so I ran downstairs.

"Where is my daughter?" I ask the two brothers sitting reading

"Rebekah is taking care of her."

"Morning sunshine, blood for you" Bekah hands be a cup of blood while holding Sophia, I take a sip and spit it out dropping the cup.

"Eww gross" it was then I notice the bleeding girl.

"Is she still warm?" I ask

"Mildly" Nik replied

"Is she taken?"

"No" Elijah

"Awesome" I lift the girl up and bit her neck, I fell the warm blood making me feel on cloud nine

"So this is what you do the first time we're back together as a family? Vampire Book club" Bekah asks

"Reading edifies the mind sister." Nik replied "Isn't that right Elijah?"

"Yes that's quite right Niklaus" I lifted my head and breathed

"Wow you can cut the tension with a knife"

"And what's this business" she asked gesturing to the girl that laid in my arms.

"It was a peace offering" Elijah sighed as I bit back down draining her

"I presumed after so much time desiccating in a coffin, that my big brother might be a bit peckish"

"So I explained to my little brother that my wife had already covered that and that forgiveness cannot be bought. I simply prefer to see a change in behaviour that indicates condition and personal growth. Not this nonsense."

"Well it's not like she's going to waste is she? Darling Bethany has taken care of that."

"Yes an I'm still hungry will someone be a love and get me another person to munch" I flickered my eyes and smiled at Elijah.

"Well I supposed I'll get the rubbish bin because she's stained a 200 year old carpet" Bekah put Sophia down next to Nik who the proper her up on his lap and went back to reading.

"I'm going to wash my face back in a jiffy. I left and washed the blood and walked back joining Hayley in the kitchen.

"Ugh I'm starving blood and human food, how do normal people do this." I moaned as we searched through the fridge.

"Good morning" we smiled at him I grabbed a chocolate cake and a spoon before digging in. The door opened and Bekah walked back in

"Hey I know I'm not the only one that drinks milk but would it kill any of you too put extra on the grocery list" I smiled at her knowing I was the other one who favoured milk.

"Speaking of, add bleach" Bekah walked past us.

"Hayley, I hope my siblings and wife were hospitable to you in my absence" I chocked as he said absence

"In your absence as you like to call it, which is a way to polite way that your brother put a dagger in your heart." he brought muesli and two bowls over.

"I have been attacked by French Quarter vampires. I've had to live in a house with a secret dungeon..." Elijah took the cake off of me and put them back in the fridge

"...full of coffins, and I was nearly murdered by witches who are convinced my baby is Lucifer. All this time Bethany has barely a scratch on her and that without some mystical necklace the witches snatched and no healing trick" Hayley rambled

"jealousy does not become you Hayley" I grinned and He poured the muesli and milk.

"Oh...Milk. They've been fine, your siblings and Bethany are weirdly protective. I know that I have you to thank for that."

"I'm just happy to see that both of you are in one piece" he handed us the muesli

"I'm not having that, it's bleck" I shook my head

"It's healthy"

"It's bleck and I don't want it."

"What have my sibling been letting you eat while I've been away?" he wondered

"Proper meals but they don't stop me on one of my cravings. Everyone has learnt not to get in my way when I want blood or food."

"Well now I'm back."

"Nik! Bekah! Elijah won't let me have cake!" I yelled

"Elijah if you do not want to be pinned up against the wall with a steak near your heart. I suggest you let the pregnant hybrid have her cake" Bekah replied I smiled triumphantly as he got the cake out of the fridge. I then sat on the counter and continued eating my chocolate cake.

"Now back to the murderous witches. I have some concerns." I swallowed some cake

"They're evil and our lives are still magically linked to Sophie Deveraux, which is not comforting" I told my husband who rubbed my legs soothingly

"Yes. I think it's time we took care of that little problem."

"I'm all for it" Rebekah came in dragging the dead body. "As soon as they're unlinked we get to leave this crap town...who do we have to kill?" she asked going back outside.

"Proberly no one" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"All right potentially everyone" he put the things back in the fridge.
