ten got inside of the house and closed the doors, turning the lights on since it's quite dark. also, he can't help but be amused at how johnny's mind works. it was full 'wow's and woah's. he even questioned how grand vampires live. didn't jaehyun mention about how he lived with them for most of his life? then why is he so surprised seeing a vampire's house.

❝jaehyun told me that you're here to work as my son's babysitter.❞ ten approached the still laying male. ❝you're hired.❞

❝oh so, it's a son.❞ johnny then pressed his lips into a thin line reassured himself that he'll get along with the kid. it's a boy after all, it'll be much more easier to understand. ❝when will i start?❞

on second thoughts, might as well accept this job since he's hired. although, it got him wondering how he is managed to get hired when he did nothing but just introduced himself.

❝right now.❞ ten answered his question and also satisfied his curiosity once he came to hear his thoughts. ❝jaehyun told me much about you and i do need help here so why not?❞

❝okay, i will start right now.❞ johnny saw how the short vampire is looking down at him, probably waiting for him to stand and follow him, but all the human did was smile at him. ❝so, jaehyun mayhaps threw me a little bit too harsh. i can't stand up.❞

ten furrowed his brows before eyeing the sofa that moved an inch from its usual spot. he heaved out a sigh before helping johnny up from the sofa, just simply pulling him up. a bone cracking made a sound and made johnny go wide eyed but what caught him off guard was ten going behind him and placing his hand on his back, putting it with force and pressure. johnny groaned and almost had his body flopped back down the sofa but was held up by ten.

❝does it still hurt?❞ ten asked, no hint of worry from his tone. he just asked for the sake of asking.

the human then tried to stand up straight and finally could move his body freely without any pain. johnny then had his mouth wide open in awe and gave ten a look of surprise. ❝how did you do it?❞

the vampire shrugged his shoulders. ❝break more of your bones.❞ he said before passing by the human and going straight to the kitchen.

johnny stood there, processing what ten just said to him, but then decided not to question it even more. the vampire couldn't have broke more of his bones, could he? then, he won't be standing up straight if he did get his bones broken. shaking his head to dismiss the thoughts, johnny quickly caught up to ten and walked behind him.

❝so ten—❞

ten paused and turned around with a look of confusion. ❝ten?❞

❝yeah, i heard jaehyun call you that.❞ the human said with his smile, that ten had found finally cute but won't say it nor admit it. ❝perhaps that's your name.❞

getting inside the kitchen, ten shook his head in disapproval as he opened the fridge and took a pack of red juice. red juice, that's how johnny described it. ❝my name is chittaphon leechaiyapornkul.❞

❝that's long— can i just you ten?❞ johnny watched him open the pack of red juice and pour it down on the glass he took from one of the cupboards.

❝no, you are in no place to call me ten.❞ ten said, drinking his cup and keeping himself full. he was never a fan of animal blood, like what he is drinking right now, but he had no choice. he didn't want to try on human blood, afraid of getting infected in whatever disease they have.

johnny nodded his head as he pursed his lips, sulking that he can't call the vampire by his nickname. ❝is it by level or something? so level one, i call you one. level two, i get to call you two.❞ ten then gave the human a look, making johnny stop his explanation. ❝no? okay. leechaiyapornkul chittaphon it is.❞

they finally got into an agreement. only ten was already fine with it, johnny still had thought of another name to call the vampire. ❝so since you'll be a babysitter—❞

❝how about porn?❞ just johnny being johnny. ❝can i call you porn? mister porn.❞

he looked so proud about that nickname, meanwhile ten choked on air because of it. jaehyun is right, bold of him to think about him being an innocent human being. ❝just call me chittaphon.❞

❝why not ten? i mean, it's more easier and—❞ the human stopped talking once he saw how the vampires eyes turned red, warning him. johnny then nodded his head aggressively in agreement. ❝chittaphon it is then.❞

the vampire now started to walk out of the kitchen, followed by the human that's still in awe of the house. it looked abandoned outside but it's the complete opposite on the inside. it made johnny wonder what ten's job is. this is a pretty modern design for a vampire to live in. jaehyun and taeyong's apartment isn't even this fancy. it probably is because they want to keep it low profile. most of the vampires keep theirselves as a secret and it's probably because they want to fool human and so that they can drink their blood. spooky.

meanwhile, ten can't help but mentally facepalm as he could hear johnny's thoughts out loud. he could even see memes inside that man's head. he can't believe how casual johnny can be despite of having something happening between them without even knowing.

❝so broski, what's your job?❞ johnny asked as his jaw dropped when he saw a room that had a swiming pool inside. cool, an indoor swimming pool.

too casual for ten. who calls someone whom they had a one night stand with "broski"? the one and only johnny. ❝my job is none of your concern.❞

right, johnny nodded his head for how many times already for the day. he needs to be obedient. after all, he works for the vampire. walking down the hallways with doors from right and left, johnny saw a big portrait by the end of the hallways and can't help but coo. ❝look chittaporn, it's you! how cute.❞

ten followed to where johnny was looking with his brows furrowed. ❝firstly, my name is chittaphon and not chittaPORN.❞ and then stopped at a specific door before speaking again. ❝and that is not me, that's my son.❞

johnny had a big smile on as he ruffled ten's hair, as if they were close buddies, before waking towards the big portrait and staring at it more. he didn't know but it caught his attention. ❝he's cute.❞

the vampire then went to look at johnny's thoughts about the portrait. mostly were just compliments on how cute the baby it but something made ten almost tell the human the obvious. johnny tilted his head to the side and found it odd on how the baby in the portrait had some resemblance of him.

before johnny could find out, which ten doubts he would this early, ten had already grabbed the man's arms and dragged him with him inside a room. just as johnny was about to complain, he had his mouth shut up when he saw a familiar looking boy waddling his way towards a ball beside his bed. he looked exactly just the same as the boy in the portrait but a little bit older.

❝his name is—❞ ten paused, wondering if he should tell johnny the baby's real name or not. shaking his head, he decided for the nickname since he named him a little longer than his. ❝twenty.❞

johnny then snorted, ❝so you're ten and his twenty.❞ he then leaned towards the vampire and went to whisper on the male's ear. ❝should we name our next child thirty?❞

and the one and only johnny felt the vampire's hand going to his own and gripping his hand very tight. for a second there, johnny thought they're getting romantic there. too tight, his hand can't breathe. he can even feel the vampire's nails digging to his skin, making sure to leave a mark.

❝ouch! okay!❞ johnny snatched his hand back and moved a distance from ten. ❝it was a joke. damn, why don't you vampires get jokes.❞ last time he did a joke on yuta, telling him that he's going to ask sicheng out because they are both human and are meant to be, he almost got jaehyun and taeyong's shared apartment on fire. lucky for him, jaehyun arrived the next second before it could actually happen.

taeyong would not only kick him out but both he and jaehyun would be homeless dudes by now.

❝papa?❞ a boy's voice then made the two stop their staring contest and had their full attention to the small, adorable creature that's taking small steps towards them. the boy had his eyes first on his papa but then diverted them on their visitor, the human.

❝twenty?❞ ten followed his eyes to the boy that's curving his way towards johnny, bringing his bat plushie with him on his one hand, and had his other hand raised to hold johnny's almost broken hand.

❝see porn? this is how you hold a hand.❞ johnny then gave the boy a small smile before crouching down and just letting his very small hand be placed on top of his. ❝hey—❞

ten paused his tracks from getting his son when he saw johnny looking straight to the little boy's eyes, not doing anything. it even looked like he's not breathing. he tried to get inside his head but somehow he couldn't.

❝johnny?❞ the vampire had his mouth wide when he saw johnny's eyes suddenly producing tears. he didn't know what was happening, neither is he having any clue to why johnny is crying. he's perhaps crying because of how cute the boy is? that doesn't seem to be the reason. ❝johnny!❞

the boy flinched when he heard his papa's voice raising. he then moved away from the tall man, removing his hand on top of the man's large ones, and went running towards his papa. ten carried his son when he saw him making grabby hands at him and went to shake johnny out from his thoughts.

❝johnny? are you fine?❞ he went to read johnny's mind but he could see nothing. maybe jonny isn't thinking about anything as of the moment.

❝huh?❞ johnny looked down to his hands and saw the teardrops falling. he then use his thumb to wipe his own tears and quickly redeemed himself with a laugh. ❝why on earth am i crying?❞

ten got worried, he admit that he was worried, but then he heard curse words inside the man's head which made him think that johnny just cried because the baby touched him. it must be too much for him to touched by a cute boy. ❝why do you always curse?❞

johnny stood there, looking at ten carried his son and was about to think with his head but then realized that ten could hear him. he then shook whatever thoughts are about to get inside and gave ten his usual smile. ❝it's not a sin to do so. i don't see god forbidding the curse words inside the bible.❞

❝do you even read the bible?❞ ten raised a brow, waiting for johnny's answer but only received a nervous chuckle coming from him. he then sighed, disappointed of himself for even thinking that this human even reads the holy book.

embracing the silence, ten placed his son down the bed as he went to clean his room. putting the animal figurines inside its box and different sized and kinds of balls in their own basket. after that, he went to open the boy's closet and took his clothes out.

the sun was coming down which means, it's time for him to come out and do his job. he's actually thankful to have johnny here, at least he won't have to leave his son alone. yeah, he has a job to go and he obviously can't bring his son with him. he can't even bring his son out of the house. all this time, twenty is locked inside the house. no need to remind him, ten already knows that he's a bad parent for doing that. but what can he do?

❝johnny!❞ ten went to the man that he had been calling for countless of times already but didn't move a muscle. he just stood there as he stared down at the baby who's doing his own business. he then snapped his finger in front of his face, ❝get back to your senses.❞

❝hm?❞

ten closed his eyes and took a deep breath. he isn't even going to bother reading his mind, he's in a hurry to do that. ❝i want you to prepare twenty's bath. his personal tutor is going to arrive any minutes from now, another vampire that you know very well, and i just want you to get twenty to the study room if he does arrive.❞

johnny nodded his head but actually has no idea what ten just said. even his eyes aren't at ten, it's at the little boy that's playing with the bat plushie he is holding. not until ten blocks his view from the little boy with a frown on his face.

❝you are weird.❞ he said before turning around and giving his son a peck on the forehead. ❝papa is going okay?❞

the boy didn't need an explanation, he knew exactly where his papa is going. after all, he's already used to being locked inside the house. ❝take care papa.❞

ten gave him a small smile as he booped their noses. turning around, he saw a sight of johnny turning to flush red. ❝what's wrong?❞

❝n-nothing.❞ but actually, he found something heavenly when ten bent down in front of him just to kiss his son on the foreheadm. something round and johnny's hands were itching to touch it.

hearing his thoughts, ten passed by him with a sigh. ❝pervert.❞

that was the last thing he said before leaving the house, before leaving johnny with his son that he doesn't even know that existed.
