being laid down on the sofa with johnny's arms wrapped around his waist. ten stayed there, snuggling with johnny, as his eyes glared at the vampires who came to visit them all of a sudden. honestly, ever since they have done it inside the bathroom, at least one of them would come and pay a visit. in taeyong's way of explaining, they just didn't want to taint the child's innocence.

❝why are you all here again?❞ ten was annoyed at the fact that he and johnny can't have time alone.

it's not like they have done it in front of their child, for god's sake. they even don't have time to be with twenty because of his so called uncles would take him away from them. they'd be the ones to pamper the child instead of ten and johnny doing their jobs as parents.

❝well, we missed you.❞ jaehyun said, his wide grin pissed ten even more.

ten groaned, pushing himself off the sofa. ❝you were here yesterday!❞

❝you could have at least brought lucas with you..❞ johnny frowned, seeing both taeyong and jaehyun in front of them and covering the flat screen tv from them, and both taeil and doyoung that just went out from the kitchen after snatching some snack and some red packs. ❝i mean, i think i can control myself now.❞

with a bright smile, taeyong raised his index finger. ❝and this is where twenty's playmate comes in to distract him!❞

at a right timing, a knock was then heard from the front door that made both ten and johnny snap their heads around. noticing that familiar scent, johnny quickly got off the sofa and sprinted towards the door with a wide smile. it has been a while since he had been this close with his bestfriend, he missed him so much.

meanwhile, the human that came for a visit widened his eyes as he saw johnny being the one who opened the door. he expected it to be taeyong because the last time he remembers, johnny wasn't allowed to come out of his room whenever he is around. they said that johnny still couldn't be able to control his thirst for human blood.

and here comes lucas' fear of being eaten by his own friend.

❝i think i h-have to go and flower m-my flowers—❞

but the large tree was being silenced by the other by pulling him to a tight hug that showed him how much he missed him. like seriously, lucas was being suffocated. ❝i missed you, idiot!❞

it surprised lucas that johnny can finally get near to him without looking like he's going to kill him. but enough of that, he was in the verge of dying because of the hug. ❝y-yeah..❞ he was out of breath. ❝j-johnny i c-can't fucking..❞ lucas gasped, feeling like his eyes was about to roll back. ❝breathe.❞

jaehyun at the background was having the time of his life laughing his ass off as he watched lucas dying in johnny's arms. if yuta would be here, he'd also join jaehyun. that vampire is too busy with sicheng to even be here. taeyong clicked his tongue at his lover and decided to deal with him later. taeyong went over to lucas and johnny and pulled the two giants away from each other. he had a hard time doing so but he successfully gave them a feet apart.

johnny gave taeyong a pout, ❝lucas!❞ and was about to give the human another hug but a hand stopped him from getting closer.

lucas coughed for air, holding up a hand at johnny to stop him for a moment. ❝i a-almost saw h-heaven..❞

the boy standing next to lucas gave him a look, patting him from behind even though he was giving his father those disbelief in the eyes. ❝are you sure it wasn't hell dad?❞

taeyong just then realized that a kid was there and lucas just cussed when johnny came to hug the life out of him. he was about to scold lucas about it but ten had held his arm before he gets a step closer to lucas. ten shook his head and had mouthed that jeffrey had already learned how to curse. the good side is, he knows when to use it. jungwoo probably had taught him to be that perfect.

tearing his eyes of the two bestfriends that are being united, ten clapped his hands and got the attention of the vampires at the living room.

❝so, who else?❞ he had already expected for this day to come. where everyone would just be bored and treat this house as if it's their getaway. he wasn't amused by it, he felt like his family's privacy was being invaded.

but he had nothing to do, especially when it's taeyong who planned it all out.

getting inside of the house with johnny walking by his side and his son following him from behind, lucas still had a hand massaging his neck. taking another step forward, lucas froze when he saw another unfamiliar vampire that's eating chips. ❝so like— am i safe— is he one of you?❞ he quickly asked, making sure of his and his son's safety.

taeil chuckled at the human's worry. ❝he won't attack you. just make sure not to spill any blood.❞ he reassured to the human.

lucas gulped at the warning before he was hesitant to raise his hand and wave at the vampire. what's with him meeting with a lot of vampires? was this a sign that he's going to turn one himself? lucas shook his head, he shouldn't give himself in to the temptation. he will grow old with jungwoo and that is final. seeing that his son wasn't safe down the living room, he patted his back and gave him the signal to go up to twenty's room.

with excited steps, jeffrey immediately went up to twenty's room.

knocking the door, jeffrey waited for a couple of seconds before he turned the door knob open to see the little vampire that he had been so excited to see ever since his dad told him that they'd be visiting. sad to say, his sister can't come since she had to accompany their papa in shopping.

❝careful, twenty.❞

jeffrey's eyes then widened as he saw another vampire inside the room that he didn't expect to see. ❝chan?❞

even if chan's name was called, both of the kids turned around to see the human. chan then showed him a smile while twenty ran towards jeffrey and gave him a tight hug. ❝hyung! where is yanna?❞

and that's where jeffrey pulled out a fake smile, disappointed that twenty was looking for his sister. ❝she won't come but, i'm here to play with you!❞

chan cooed at the sight side of jeffrey very cutely, totally different from the quiet kid he'd see at school. ❝jeffrey is soft when it comes to the little guy right here, i see.❞

glaring at the vampire, he clicked his tongue. it was as if he had forgot for a moment that he had a small crush towards this vampire. ❝how did you get here?❞

the vampire pointed at a direction where jeffrey followed with his eyes. ❝through the window.❞ getting back to what he and twenty were playing, chan approached the two and took jeffrey's hand. ❝hurry, let's play!❞

jeffrey was then pulled away from twenty and was sat down right next to chan. the two conversed, with mostly jeffrey complaining at how chan was stacking the blocks and chan laughing at how done jeffrey would look every time he places a block on top of the other. it came to the point where jeffrey took chan's hand guided him on where to place the blocks for their castle to look good, or presentable at least.

and twenty wasn't liking the sight.

❝oh, twenty!❞ chan waved his hand. ❝why are you still standing there?❞

jeffrey raised his head up and saw the pout on the kid's lips. he wasn't going to mind it but he was startled when twenty suddenly appeared in the middle of him and chan in just a blink of an eye.

still holding chan's hand, jeffrey didn't notice the glare that twenty was sending to their hands.

❝okay, so—❞

jeffrey was then cut off when twenty came to separate his hand with chan's causing for the block on the vampire's hand to fall and destroy the castle that they were building so far.

❝eh?❞

❝what do you mean you also invited donghyuck and mark over!?❞ ten ruffled his hair, he looked so stressed right now.

everyone were gathered in the living room with lucas and johnny catching up by the sofa, taeil and doyoung eating snacks as they watched the scene in front of them, jaehyun staying back as he didn't want to get in between taeyong and ten that were quarreling. ❝well, it has been a while since we gathered everyone.❞

❝at my house.❞ ten rubbed his temples, groaning in stress accent. ❝are you guys planning on murdering my house!?❞

❝why are you so pressed about it?❞ jaehyun finally decided to speak. ❝it's not like you're used to us being around. this is just like any other day, but with a lot of us watching you guys over.❞

❝you know why i'm like this?❞ ten asked, his voice getting softer, and receiving a couple of nos from everyone. ❝yuta is coming over with sicheng and i wanted to get a good impression. especially when yuta is planning on turning sicheng to be like one of us.❞

their ears then perked upon hearing it, except for taeil and doyoung who had no idea who this sicheng was. taeil just had to question out of curiosity, ❝who's sicheng?❞

lucas gladly answered, ❝oh, it's yuta's one and only.❞

❝and he's human?❞ doyoung just had to ask.

❝i know right!?❞ lucas let out a huff, he had been going on about this ever since day one. ❝humans are boring.❞

johnny furrowed his brows, ❝wasn't i the one who said that? and also, you're human yourself.❞

❝yeah, but if i were boring then yuta could have burned me alive.❞ lucas shrugged.

with everyone listening to the two's conversation, ten once again sighed and messed up his hair. ❝how am i going to get a good impression with all of you around?❞

jaehyun placed a hand on his chest, ❝come on, we are not that weird.❞

and with that statement, all eyes turned to lucas for unknown reasons. the human sat there, thinking as to why everyone was looking at him. he then raised his hands up in defense for himself. ❝this hurts my pride, do you guys know that?❞

❝actually,❞ taeyong tapped his chin as he had an idea in mind. ❝the more we are, the more we can convince sicheng that we aren't that much of a threat.❞

johnny sat there with a pout, ❝you guys are doing so much for sicheng, yet i can remember how you threw me around when i was human.❞

❝sshh..❞ jaehyun walked over to johnny and hushed him down. ❝be quiet don't cry.❞

the tall male slapped jaehyun's hand away and rolled his eyes at him, crossing his arms. he was sulking but ten had no time to oay attention to him as he was busy worrying as to how yuta was going to react in having a lot of crackheads inside one house. it was just supposed to be just yuta and ten who were going to convince sicheng.

hearing the knocks coming from the door made ten snap out from his thoughts.

❝is that—❞

❝mark and donghyuck,❞ taeyong cuts him off, going towards the front door and opened it to show two panting vampires.

and not even greating them, donghyuck had exclaimed. ❝how on earth did chan get here so fast!?❞

and that's all it took for ten to know that this won't end well with convincing sicheng. he prayed to the gods above that yuta had already received his apology in advance.
