holding the human's hand softly, yuta raised his head and gave him a reassuring smile. ❝are you nervous?❞

sicheng pressed his lips into a thin line as he nodded his head in pure honesty, ❝what if your hyung won't like me?❞

a scoff came out from yuta's mouth, ❝ten hyung will like you! he helped me get your number after all.❞ he inched closer to the human, ❝and that's where it all started.❞

with a shy smile, sicheng nudged the vampire. sicheng had already knew what the japanese was after exposing himself in that one date of theirs. that very first date, sicheng can never forget how yuta almost set the table on fire because of how nervous he was. the chinese wad thankful that yuta explained to him quickly before he had big plans of running away because he wad terrified. since then, yuta has been making sure to meet sicheng for the human to get comfortable with him.

sicheng even found it cute when yuta confessed that he has been liking him ever since he went inside the restaurant he worked in, and that was when he first met johnny and lucas. damn, yuta could remember how young they look back then. both he and jaehyun would always look like fathers taking care of their college students.

❝yuta, are you sure they won't..❞ sicheng made hand gestures and that was enough for the vampire to understand. ❝bite me?❞

❝no, don't worry.❞ well, was a bit worried with johnny since he wasn't sure if he can finally control his thirst. but if johnny still can't then ten would be smart enough to let him stay inside their room. ❝let's get in?❞

feeling safe with yuta, sicheng nodded his head. the vampire took a deep breath before knocking the door and opening it the second after.

what he expected to see was ten sitting down the sofa with twenty on his lap while they watched a movie together. if possible, johnny could probably be getting snacks inside the kitchen for them to eat while they watch a disney movie. versus what he saw, a lot of vampires gathered inside the living room and yuta could sense a pair inside the kitchen.

seeing these familiar eyes is enough for yuta to know that everything was over.

❝oh, yuta!❞ lucas was the first one to greet him as he walked over to the front door and gave the vampire a tight hug. seeing the human flinch beside yuta, lucas pulled away and wiggled his brows at the human that he clearly was familiar with. ❝don't worry man, i'm human just like you.❞

yuta's eyes then went to jaehyun, whom he badly didn't want to see knowing how much that vampire wanted to ruin moments. ❝hey there lover boy,❞ jaehyun greeted with a sly smile. ❝we are just here watching a movie and eating chips because that's what we normally do.❞

taeyong surprised jaehyun with a smack on his back, making the vampire choke in the chips he was gulping on, before turning to both yuta and the human he is with. ❝sicheng, it's nice seeing you here.❞

taeil then gasped in awe as he saw the human, ❝never knew sicheng could be this cute!❞

doyoung clicked his tongue at how there were hearts in taeil's eyes as he stared at sicheng. ❝and i also didn't know you were into humans.❞

yuta wanted to cry on that spot, knowing that everyone would start to embarrass him. facing towards the human beside him, he saw a small smile on sicheng's face but he honestly couldn't figure out if sicheng was enjoying the company or he was weirded out by them.

❝yuta, i thought we were just meeting your ten hyung.❞ sicheng leaned in to whisper softly on the vampire's ear.

heaving out a sigh, yuta thought so too. having his eyes roaming till it stopped on yuta, he was surprised that johnny was silent. or not, he could see the once was human turning his head around from the sofa and gave him a knowing look.

yuta nodded his head at johnny as if he was telling him something.

the went noticeable by ten but he couldn't hear johnny's thoughts, and yuta's were filled with burning his house. ten widened his eyes as he had read yuta's thoughts and quickly went towards him. ❝you are not allowed to burn this house.❞ and since he was already in front of them, ten greeted the human with an innocent smile. ❝nice to see you again sicheng.❞

with lucas standing by with them, he pointed a finger at ten with a look on. ❝he wasn't that nice to me when he met me.❞

and just when ten was about to invite the two over inside his house, a pair of vampires came out from the kitchen with one holding a bowl of red packs and the other holding a ball in hand. this is where ten was afraid of, asking the vampires to play.

❝oh, hey there human!❞ the tanned male greeted with his usual cute smile before raising the ball up in the air. ❝so who wants to play the dodge ball of our lives!?❞

mark, standing right next to his sunshine gave everyone a smile and especially didn't forget to forget the visitor that caused everyone to be in their normal state. ❝you must be sicheng?❞

the human nodded his head. despite of him feeling uneasy around them, because let's be real he is surrounded by vampires, but he remained smiling. ❝nice to meet you.❞

❝so,❞ donghyuck still wanted to hear their answers. ❝dodge ball anyone?❞

❝no.❞ yuta threw his arm on sicheng's shoulder. ❝you know what, we'll come next time—❞

❝don't kill the fun, yuta!❞ jaehyun walked over to them and pulled yuta away from sicheng as he dragged him outside, earning a glare from the japanese. ❝let's play!❞

❝i'm not missing this out.❞ taeil hopped outside as he followed them.

❝since he's joining,❞ doyoung shrugged with a sigh, walking towards taeil who's like a kid running behind jaehyun and yuta. ❝i'll join.❞

❝ten hyung?❞ the tanned male walked over to the short vampire and earned a forced nod from him.

since it was agreed that everyone was going to join, they had already gathered themselves outside as they were fighting as to who were going to throw the ball. johnny yawned as he stared at yuta, remembering what this all was for. he furrowed his brows at the japanese and it took the fire boy seconds to remember what johnny was hinting him about.

as jaehyun was about to convince them about how he should pair up with ten like the last time, his eyes suddenly went to taeyong who stood there with excitement.

❝wait a minute.❞ he lets go from choking yuta and walked over to his lover who gave him a pout. ❝you are not joining.❞

all of their attention went to the couple. taeyong shook his head, ❝but i want to!❞

❝you're pregnant and i—❞

gasps were heard as they didn't expect for the unexpected. actually, they had already seen this coming knowing that jaehyun always has his needs but they were surprised to hear this just now. they could have expected for this to happen earlier. maybe jaehyun did manage to get a hold of himself.

seeing their reactions made jaehyun sigh, it was going to be a surprise. settling a soft kiss on his lover's lips, jaehyun ran a hand through his hair. ❝please, for me, the babies, and for yourself? don't play.❞

knowing that he couldn't resist him, taeyong had no choice but to stay in the corner where sicheng also stayed as he wasn't into games like this. also, knowing that they were vampires, sicheng knew that there was a plot twist in their dodge ball. if yuta had the ability to produce fire, who knows what the others can do.

❝lucas, you too.❞ jaehyun pointed.

the human stomped his feet. ❝but i wanna play!❞

johnny snorted beside him. ❝i mean, if you want your life on the line.❞

lucas furrowed his brows at his friend's statement. ❝it's just dodge ball, what is there to be afraid of?❞

everything. donghyuck wanted to say that but he couldn't hide the disappointment as he gave the ball to yuta and walked over to taeyong and sicheng. ❝guess i'll also have to stay out of this.❞

yuta, mark, ten, johnny, lucas, taeil, doyoung, and jaehyun were left and they were confused (except for mark) as to why donghyuck backed out when he was the one who invited everyone to play dodge ball with him. they didn't know why but they all turned to mark for an answer and the strongest vampire just shrugged.

❝pregnant, eight months.❞ the vampire simply answered.

they should have known since it was obvious. well, that wasn't going to stop them from playing dodgeball. although, yuta can't help but snort at the situation. ❝everyone be getting pregnant these days.❞

and as if they were expecting something, they all turned to ten. the short vampire then gave then his deadliest glare after reading their thoughts. ❝don't look at me like that, johnny's pull out game isn't weak.❞ he then walked over to yuta who had the ball. ❝i'm going to decide. yuta and i will be throwing the ball.❞

johnny internally shouted a loud 'yes' making sure that ten won't hear it so he wouldn't be so obvious. they all then went to their places in the middle with ten and yuta positioning themselves at both ends. he didn't miss out to give yuta a look incase fire boy forgot.

jaehyun then turned to the human beside him, ❝are really sure about this lucas?❞

❝again, it's just dodge ball—❞

and in a swift move, a ball went zooming right beside his ear. lucas could have sworn that he was almost being blown away by the wind as the ball went pass by him. he then gulped, maybe it just wasn't any dodge ball.

❝i think imma just—❞

❝don't think so lucas!❞ ten shouted as he motion his hand and threw the ball at a very fast pace towards lucas. the human stood there with horror in his eyes but lucky for him, the ball stopped an inch away from him, levitating on air, before it booped his nose. lucas chould feel his heart beating so fast after he had just seen his life flashing right through his eyes and ten pouted when jaehyun stopped the ball but nonetheless, it touched lucas.

❝lucas, out!❞

❝damn, ten, you be wanting to kill lucas so bad.❞ jaehyun commented, guiding the traumatized lucas towards where taeyong and the other were watching.

ten rolled his eyes. ❝don't we all?❞

back to the game, yuta managed to get the ball that stopped midway and ran back towards his place. he then eyed doyoung, planning to get him out of the game since it was impossible to get taeil out because of how fast that vampire is. just when he was about to throw the ball, his eyes quickly stopped at johnny who gave him a signal.

he sighed, so much for wanting to have fun playing this game.

running back, yuta fumbled on something inside his pocket, took a deep breath, and threw the ball along with it. they all watched the ball in awe as it was being thrown up in the air. ten complained as he had to run far again to the woods just to get the ball which yuta threw high purposely. running towards the forest first, johnny took this chance to run and jump, catching the ball and leaving that one thing yuta threw along with it. johnny huffed as he reached the ground and placed the ball down, turning to everyone as he hushed them down.

❝okay,❞ he raised his hands, hoping that ten was going to take time in the woods. ❝i know this is confusing but—❞

❝he is planning on proposing to ten.❞ yuta cuts him off, earning a look from johnny. ❝what? ten is coming, hurry up!❞

the two had actually planned this out already, thus making yuta reason out that he wanted to introduce sicheng to ten. although, playing dodge ball wasn't the plan but johnny was quick to improvise and he was glad that yuta caught up with it without being too obvious.

❝wait!❞ johnny turned around, looking like he was about to cry. ❝what do i say again?❞

still processing everything inside his head, jaehyun was quick to help johnny out. ❝let's bang, that's it!❞ but that seemed like a wrong answer.

❝the heck, no.❞ doyoung furrowed his brows as he gave jaehyun a look. ❝it's 'will you marry me'.❞

johnny nodded his head as he chanted it in his thoughts, focusing on himself so ten couldn't read what he was all nervous about. ❝don't think of anything!❞ he warned everyone.

and just in time, a familiar figure came walking out on the woods as he brought a small box with him. he walked over to them with a confused look on, letting johnny know that he hadn't opened the box yet. the short vampire's eyes then went to the ball that's right next to johnny and pointed at it with a pout.

❝i caught this box instead of the ball!❞ ten ran towards johnny with his head tilted to the side. ❝why is the ball here?❞

clearing his throat, johnny turned around and everyone was giving him support. he felt so nervous on the spot as he hadn't done this with anyone yet. of course he hasn't, there's only one chittaphon and that's the one standing right in front of him.

slowly taking the box from ten's hand, johnny kneeled on one knee that made ten grow confused as ever.

❝john—❞

❝i don't know if vampires normally do this,❞ johnny slowly opened the box. ❝but we, humans, do it for formalities.❞

ten's eyes widened as he saw what was inside the small box that he had caught inside the forest. he knew he had brought up the topic about being boyfriends once to johnny but he didn't actually think that he'd be serious about it, and not to mention he was kneeling down with a ring inside the small box he is holding.

if he could cry, then he would, but their thoughts were loud that he can't help but be distracted.

❝you do know how happy i am with you, right?❞ johnny started, getting the ring from the box and he held it out while taking the vampire's hand. ❝and how i am so lucky to have you and twenty with me. i know this isn't the best proposal you probably dreamt of when you were a kid, but hey i'm still doing it.❞ he chuckled, looking up at ten who's biting his lower lips as the two locked eyes. ❝i asked you if you were married, and you told me that you would be if i'd marry you.❞

johnny was taking long, ten badly wanted to shout 'i do' already.

❝so chittaphon leechaiyapornkul,❞ caressing the vampire's soft hands that fitted with his like a puzzle piece, he gave him a soft smile. ❝will you..❞

"be the porn to my star?"

❝marry me?❞

it wasn't johnny's thoughts he had heard. and as what ten had expected, he looked up and it was lucas who's thoughts were loud enough for him to hear at a distance. at a beautiful moment like this, lucas just had to ruin it with his thoughts.

and instead of saying his 'i do' which he had been holding back the urge to shout at since a while ago, lucas just had to get his attention.

❝lucas wong!❞
