ten made sure that his kid is already sleeping before taking small steps towards the door, leaving the lights open, and did his very best to close the door in the most silent way. wanting to check on johnny, he walked over to the room where the indoor pool is, only to find out he isn't there. frowning, he walked over to his room and saw no figure of the human. quickly going down to the living room, ten's heart was beating fast after seeing no one.

he then closed his eyes, hoping that he could hear the human's thoughts to know where he is but he was so distracted by nervousness taking over his body. he couldn't use his ability properly, where could johnny be?

❝did you run a marathon or something?❞

a voice made ten shot his head up and saw johnny just getting inside the house. ❝where were you!?❞

❝just outside—❞ johnny stumbled back a bit when he felt the vampire's weight on him, hugging him very tight as if he didn't want to lose him. ❝i needed fresh air. what's wrong?❞

hearing that, ten raised his head to look up at the human who's face is already heating up at the close contact they were having, ❝you didn't go far, did you?❞

❝i was just by the porch.❞ the human said with a gulp, finding ten's red eyes glittering at him very uncomfortable. ❝so u-uhm..❞

he had something to say yet he couldn't find the right words to do so, ten only had his brows furrowed because of it. ❝what?❞

❝y-you know..❞ the human stared down at him with his cheeks being in a bright shade of red and lips being pursed in a tight line. ❝the h-hug.❞

the vampire took seconds before he understood what johnny meant. he then pulled away and moved five steps back from the human, distancing himself from johnny. ❝s-sorry! i was just worried thinking that you just suddenly disappeared.❞

❝i-it's okay.❞ johnny looked away with his lips pouting, face still heating up from their contact, and heart also beating fast.

ten stood there as he unconsciously just read johnny's thoughts, finding himself, being a damsel in distress, throwing his body in fear to johnny, being the king, and also being comforted by johnny in his thoughts. that seriously made ten a look, crossing his arms as he faced johnny.

❝you do know i'm a vampire?❞

johnny stared at him with those clueless eyes of his, ❝yeah?❞

❝i can't be as weak as a damsel in distress, come on!❞ ten stated, feeling like he deserved a much more stronger role than being a damsel in distress in the human's thoughts.

the human paused there before groaning in embarrassment, rubbing his face using his hands. ❝you should really stop reading people's mind without their permission.❞

❝i didn't mean it!❞ the vampire defended himself, not wanting for johnny to get a wrong accusation of him. ❝you were just thinking out loud.❞

❝sure chittaporn is so kul.❞

ten then gasped in disbelief. ❝don't you call me names.❞

❝you won't even let me call you ten!❞

❝because we are not on that stage yet!❞ ten raised his voice, just realizing that they were shouting and the kid is sleeping upstairs. ❝chittaphon is not that hard to say.❞

❝what differs me from other people that calls you ten?❞ johnny placed both his hands on his hips, upset that everyone gets to call the vampire ten meanwhile he is stuck with the vampire's long ass name. ❝you even let lucas call you that. don't you hate his guts?❞

❝i do,❞ he then eyed johnny. ❝and i hate yours too.❞

❝then why did you let him call you ten? he could've called you chittapornhub by now.❞

letting out a sigh, ten couldn't believe that they were quarreling over his name. ❝because,❞

the human watched the vampire get close to him and his heart didn't miss to skip a beat after seeing that small smile on his beautiful, angelic face. but because he was confident, he reminded himself not to let his guard down because of that vampire's gorgeous features. ❝b-because what?❞ but he stuttered.

❝you are different.❞

he couldn't help but be in a daze, his mind being in another dimension because of what ten said to him tht made him feel alot of things. ❝so does that mean i'm in another level unlike everyone?❞ he isn't even aware what he is sprouting out now. ❝like, level thirty?❞

that made ten burst out laughing, snapping johnny out from his thoughts. ❝why are you so funny?❞

johnny frowned, ❝i don't know. why do you find everything as a joke?❞

ten raised a brow with a smile, ❝i do not.❞ he then went past by the human and took his coat by the rack. ❝anyways, i'm going. taeyong is arriving for his study session so for the meantime, please take care of twenty.❞

johnny nodded his head as he was about to go up the stairs to check on the little vampire but he was called by ten that made him stop his tracks. ❝what?❞

having a soft smile on his face, ten took a step forward and in just a blink of an eye he's already right in front of johnny.

the human wasn't ready for it and was startled. ❝god, you should really stop doing that!❞ he had his hand on his chest to feel his fast heartbeat but,

he only felt his heart beating at an animalistic pace once he felt a pair of soft lips on his cheeks.

❝i'll be back in the morning so take care of yourself also.❞ he said, holding back a chuckle when he could read johnny's panicking thoughts.

before the human could even say something, as if he could even form a sentence, ten had already disappeared from his sight with the front door shutting tight. it only took a few minutes of standing there before johnny had regained himself but not what he is feeling.

❝that pornhub really finds everything as a joke.❞ he said, just feeling his heart beating because of that vampire.

staring at the moon shining outside of the window, johnny really had nothing to do for the night. twenty was sleeping and he was only waiting for taeyong to arrive for their study session. johnny didn't want to want to wake the kid up play with him, that would be so childish of him.

❝but it's so boring!❞ he whined, flopping his body down the bed he and ten are sharing.

maybe waking up the kid will do. after all, he is still going to wake him up when taeyong arrives so he's just doing it in advance.

❝no.❞ johnny shook his head in disagreement with his own idea.

or, he could call lucas.

❝it's night for fucks sake.❞ he let out a sigh, this boredom making him go crazy.

❝fucks sake!❞

the human's eyes shot wide open as he heard a kids voice. sitting back up on the bed, he turned his head towards the door and groaned in disappointment for himself after seeing the kid laughing as he repeated the curse word that johnny had just said.

❝for fucks sake!❞ twenty said and made it so innocent with how happy he looked learning a new word.

❝we do not say that in this household, okay little vamp?❞ johnny said, was about to go over to the kid but was beaten by twenty who had already zoomed towards him by the bed. ❝okay, flexing your vampire ability.❞

❝what is giant doing?❞ the little vampire questioned, tilting his head to the side.

johnny shrugged laying his body back down on the bed after seeing that twenty is already on the bed. ❝wasting time.❞

seeing the human's stomach as a potential chair, twenty crawled over him and sat down. ❝can giant play family with twenty?❞

❝sure.❞ not like he has something to do, johnny was bored and playing with twenty was one way of dealing boredom. ❝what does my baby want to do?❞

the little vampire chuckled, loving the warm feeling when johnny called him his baby. twenty then shook his head and carefully laid on top of the human. ❝nothing. twenty just wants to call giant his daddy.❞

❝oh.❞ johnny pressed his lips into a thin line. ❝well, twenty won't be playing family with giant anymore soon in the future when his papa finds his true daddy.❞

twenty then hugged the human's neck after showing him his frown. ❝but baby just wants giant to be his daddy.❞

❝i also want myself to be ten's daddy.❞ johnny mumbled, just realizing what he had just said. ❝no, i mean twenty's daddy. damn, math be hating me right now.❞

twenty didn't even understand a think that  johnny is mumbling right noe but he was amused seeing him panic over something. the little vampire then sat back down and took johnny's hand, making the breathing of the human hitch.

there was it, an image of twenty looking up at his father as he went out to leave outside. taeyong was also there, holding twenty. the two were talking about something that was muffled in twenty's hearing. then, twenty's eyes went over to the door that's open and made the most of looking outside while he still had the chance before ten got to close the door. and since then, he never got to see what's outside.

johnny then opened his eyes and found himself breathing heavily while his hand was already on the little vampire's cheeks, caressing it very softly.

he smiled at the sight before catching his attention. ❝hey?❞

twenty stared at johnny and blinked innocently, as if he just didn't let johnny see his vision. ❝daddy giant?❞

❝does twenty want to go outside?❞

hearing that made twenty go all excited, but that soon ruined when he remembered ten and how mad he would look if he finds out. ❝but papa would get mad.❞

johnny sat down, placing the little vampire down the bed as he gave him a reassuring smile. ❝papa won't know if he doesn't find out.❞

and that caused the little vampire to nod his head slowly, hesitating it but he badly wants to go out of the house. he's lucky that johnny is there to help him.
