long time no update ;-;

ten placed the food down the table as he had a proud smile, feeling satisfied at the breakfast he made for both johnny and his son.

now the next task is waking the two sleepy heads up.

couple of days passed after the incident and ten was cautious of what johnny is doing, being more worried at the human every single second. even johnny is having the time of his life playing with his son, he could still read inside the human's head and could tell how disappointed he was on himself.

ten didn't mean to make him feel that way. you don't know how he badly wanted to drink his blood. he even had a hard time controlling himself and if it weren't for taeyong taking him out then he could have drank johnny's blood. if it was completely fine then he would drink the human's blood without hesitations.

especially when the human is his mate.

ten closed his eyes and let out a sigh, clearing his mind out of things, before twisting the door knob and opening the door towards the room where his son and johnny are sharing. it was the kid's idea and who is johnny to decline the offer? well, ten had guest rooms but johnny preferred to be with the baby and ten wasn't against that.

his smile got wider upon seeing his small little vampire-human tucked in the covers securely as if it was its cocoon. he guessed it was johnny's doing but he found it cute and can't help but coo out loud. he took silent steps and sat down on the bed before leaning down to give a small kiss on the baby's head.

❝wakey wakey.❞ ten whispered while pulling the baby out from his cocoon.

❝hmm..❞ the boy had his eyes opened halfway, seeing a blurry figure of his father, before closing them back again and continued his time in dreamland.

ten pulled out a cute pout at his son's actions. ❝don't you want to eat breakfast with papa?❞

it's odd how he is the one waking up in the morning when it's usually him sleeping and his kid awake.

❝p-papa?❞ the baby mumbled, raising his small and cute fists up and rubbed then on his closed eyes, yawning very softly that almost made ten literally burst at the cuteness. ❝me sleepy.❞

twenty threw his arms on his papa's neck and hugged him very tight, clinging to him like a koala. ❝what did baby do last night?❞

using the energy left in him, twenty mumbled with slurred words. ❝uncle giant and i played family. he the daddy and twenty the baby. we played blocks and then daddy read me books.❞ the baby pulled away with another yawn and gave his papa a small smile. ❝daddy also cooked me yummy food!❞

the smile on ten's face disappeared when he heard the last part, johnny cooking the baby food? what worried him is not how johnny handled the kitchen, it was the food he fed to the kid. was it even edible?

but the fact that johnny played as the little vamp's dad stayed inside ten's thoughts.

maybe he'll actually do great on being one.

just in time, the bathroom door went open and the baby was placed down the bed softly. rubbing his temples, ten slowly raised his head with his brows furrowed. he was ready to scold johnny.

❝what did you—❞

but the vampire had his jaw dropped the next minute and the words he was about to say to scold the human poofed in the air just like that and it's all because of how the human is presenting himself in front of the vampire.

with the steam coming out of the bathroom, that small towel loosely wrapped around his waist, those abs and v-line visible and was shown in glory, his wet hair having small droplets falling down to the floor and some having an adventure in his muscular body, and his eyes looking straight at him as if it was telling him something. tell me, is that hot?

❝very hot.❞ ten mumbled, slowly standing up and completely forgetting everything in his surroundings. nothing was heard but his and johnny's breathing, can't even see anything but johnny that's slowly walking towards him. he scented nothing but johnny's scent. all his senses were malfunctioning and it's all because of the human looking like a god. it's as if his world revolved on johnny at that moment.

hearing the door down floor being unlocked, the baby recognize the smell and happily went down the bed and zoomed out of the room without ten even noticing him. well, it was a great idea leaving the two alone. who knows what he could have witnessed if he stayed?

❝leechaiyapornst?❞ johnny at it with his nicknames, ruining the mood but not cutting off ten's attention to him. the human had a confused look on as he was standing right in front of the dazed vampire.

it was unfair. he wished he, too, can read the vampire's head.

❝j-johnny?❞ ten was suddenly defenseless despite of the fact that he is a vampire, one of the strongest in fact. it's all because of johnny.

johnny, who is still oblivious and kept on walking towards ten until the vampire stumbled upon something and had his back hit the wall.

a little more and ten would literally go wild.

what is control anyways? ten gulped at the question and shook his head, hoping to keep himself sane. ❝what a-are you doing?❞

johnny didn't hear ten squeaking when he placed both his hands on the wall and trapped him. his eyes were full on observing ten, how the vampire's red eyes glittered and how his fangs were starting to get obvious.

❝ten?❞ johnny's voice sent a very different sensation to every part of ten's body. the human leaned closer and it didn't even help one bit, ten was losing it.

not to mention how smooth and tempting johnny's neck is, would be great to put a mark.

johnny chuckled, the only thing that actually snapped ten out from his foggy thoughts. ten had his eyes widened and diverted it from the human's neck to his eyes, seeing him smile so innocently.

❝can you move away? i forgot to bring my clothes and my bag is right behind you.❞

ten stood there silently for a good minute before feeling his cheeks heat up and feeling his whole body getting hot. ❝eh?❞

and as johnny was about to repeat what he just said, the door opened and showed two familiar people. the four of them had shared eye contact with confusion written on their faces and later on you could see ten being embarrassed at the position they were in.

❝it's not what you think it is!❞

ten sunk to his seat as the giant behind him was busy eating chips, as if the situation didn't bother him at all. ❝it really isn't what you guys think it is.❞

lucas and jaehyun gave each other obvious looks, as if they couldn't trust a word ten says, before looking back at the two who were very much different. johnny sat there, still catching up to the situation, meanwhile ten was explaining about what the two saw inside a baby's room.

❝it's okay, we understand.❞ jaehyun said with a sigh, ❝but who in their right mind would actually plan to do it inside a baby's room!?❞

lucas nodded aggressively, couldn't agree more to what jaehyun just said.

❝do..❞ johnny stopped eating chips for a moment before finally understanding the situation, catching up just now. he then looked down but can't hide how red his face was. ❝oh.❞

ten glanced to the giant beside him and managed to get inside his thoughts. he applauded at how johnny is trying not to think about but ten could see johnny thinking of situations like pinning him down to the bed and doing something so beastlike that not even ten, a vampire, can control him.

it's up to you to think of the scenarios but all ten can say is that, it was wild.

❝johnny!❞ with a flustered face, ten raised his fists and hit johnny by the arm. he didn't mean for it to be that hard but it seems like he did put a little bit strength.

jaehyun had his eyes on the two, wondering what johnny was thinking about that got ten flustered but his question was answered right away upon seeing a hellish sight just as he stared slightly down. looking straight, he then saw a building block aiming at him and using his ability, he quickly blew the block towards johnny and it hit him right on the forehead.

poor johnny.

lucas saw what happened and had his eyes at the kids that were playing in the living room. ❝please be careful next time, you almost hit your uncle jae.❞

both jeffrey and twenty had their heads turned to yanna and the girl showed a pout before mumbling an apology. ❝i'm sorry daddy. but, it didn't hit uncle jae though.❞

❝because it hit me!❞ johnny whined, giving the two vampires a glare.

instead of pitying for the human, both jaehyun and ten couldn't contain their laughs. at least lucas wasn't. well, he was biting his lower lip to hold his laugh back so that's something.

even with the mood being lifted up, johnny still couldn't forget what happened awhile ago. he saddened him how ten controlled even though he was tempted to do something. he wanted to help ten but ten didn't want to accept his help. johnny didn't know if it was obvious but right now, he was starting to understand that he couldn't meet ten's standards.

❝you shouldn't have threw it far.❞ jeffrey said, scolding his sister that's now sitting down and is forced to reflect on her mistake.

twenty frowned and turned to jeffrey, ❝but it was my fault why i didn't catch it, why are you angry at her?❞

jeffrey glanced at twenty before going back to his sister. ❝i told her not to throw it but she still did it.❞ he said, ❝it's her fault for not listening to me.❞

❝we were playing hyung.❞ twenty said, still protecting the girl from her brother's wrath.

❝still—❞

jeffrey paused when twenty took steps in front of yanna and had his arms spread wide on the side, as if he was protecting her from something. yanna looked up and was in awe seeing twenty act like that, being so brave. he is not only her print but he is also her knight and shining armor.

the sight was not pleasing to watch for jeffrey.

❝it was my fault and i won't let you shout at her.❞
