Dream felt sleepy still when he woke up his head was foggy and he couldn't remember yesterday very when but Dream knew that he felt warm he sleepily opened his eye socket and saw that what he was snuggling into was his brother and then Dream remembered what happened and he was terrified his brother knew his secret. Dream was panicking in his panic he dropped his pacifier. Dream dashed out of his brother's arms terrified that Nightmare would hurt him or at least take advantage of him. In the process of his escape Dream woke up Nightmare. "Dream wait I'm not gonna hurt you." Nightmare said as he held his hand out trying to calm Dream once Dream had escaped the room Nightmare jumped up and chased after him. Dream randomly teleported far too stressed to think to use a portal or think of a destination. Dream teleported into a closet he felt so stressed Dream was having a panic attack next thing Dream knew he felt the pull he was scared of going little again but was unable to stop himself next thing Dream knew he was in little space he was now five again and as you know little kids get scared easily poor little dream was scared he was alone in the dark in a cramped space. Little Dream started balling his sockets out. Nightmare had been looking for Dream for a while now and he admittedly was worried about him the castle was a big and scary place it was easy to get lost. He was worried about Dream's condition with how stressed he was he has most likely to go into little space and the castle was a scary space and would probably scare his baby brother that was when nightmare heard loud crying he opened a closet and found little dream. He saw his brother with big innocent eye lights and tears in his sockets Nightmare felt his soul melt He carefully picked up Dream bridal style he wiped the tears out of his sockets Dream hiccuped and sniffled Nightmare brought out his pacifier and put it in his mouth Dream quickly called down and snuggled into nightmare. Nightmare brought Dream into the kitchen he heated up a baby bottle he pulled Dream's pacifier out of his mouth. Dream started to get fussy but Nightmare quickly put the bottle in Dream's mouth Dream relaxed and started eating from his bottle Nightmare smiled he was happy he loved babying Dream he could get used to this after Dream finished the bottle Nightmare put his pacifier back into his mouth and started to rock Dream. His baby brother let out a yawn and fell asleep Nightmare smiled happy he calmed Dream He carried Dream to there room and laid him down in bed Nightmare then baby proofed his room he also added coded locks as well as a devise that mad it so no one other than him can use magic in his room he wanted to make sure he could talk to dream before he panicked again and tried to run away he wanted to care for dream because he truly did love him and Nightmare was sad about the fact that his baby brother was scared of him he was just realizing that he made Dream's problems worse well he would change that he would take care of Dream Nightmare got into bed with Dream and snuggled him close and he let himself slip into sleep. When Dream woke up he once again in the middle of the night saw his brother cuddling him and he was terrified again Dream was honestly traumatized because of nightmare and now the person who helped traumatize him  was cuddling him after learning his secret and using it against him Dream was not having it He tried rushing out the door but it wouldn't budge so he tried to teleport outside the door but he was scared when he realized he couldn't. He felt something gently take his hands and turn him around. His brother was staring at him he looked worried but Dream didn't believe that his brother actually cared about him. Dream let out a whimper with tears in his eye sockets he quickly shoved Nightmare off him and he dashed for the only place that he could feel safe in his mind under the bed he pushed himself to the back of the bed in the corner and because the bed was a queen size because it was the biggest size it was impossible to get Dream. Well not really true he could get him with magic or his tentacles or even just lift the bed with his magic but all of those options would just make his little brother panic more so he decided the more gentle route after all he needed Dream to come back to bed it was late and it had been a long stressful day. "Come on baby brother it's okay your safe here no one's going to hurt you I won't hurt you I promise okay why don't you come out of there and come back to bed ok I love you and want to protect and care for you okay com on." Nightmare said with his arms held out Dream was shaking and whimpering he slowly crawled out Nightmare pulled him into his lap and cuddled him he felt Dream tense up Nightmare started to rub his back and just cuddled him he continued to do this until he felt Dream fully relax. Nightmare was happy that Dream had finally accepted him outside little space it would be easier to hang out with him now that Dream could be outside of little space around him. Nightmare gently picked him up and climbed back into bed with Dream cuddled into his chest and they both drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
