Becky's POV

"So daddy didn't abandoned me?" I ask Mister Gibbs.

"Of course not, who told you that?" he asks.

"Uncle Hector did, I never thought he'd lie to me like that" I explain. "Guess you can't trust pirates even ones you consider family" I mumble.

"Don't worry we won't ever lie to you Becky, why don't you go see if Anamaria needs help at the helm" he tells me. Nodding my head I head to the helm and introduce myself to Anamaria. She then starts telling me about the different masts and what some of the ropes are for. Then gave me a telescope telling me to keep a look out for approaching ships.

"Anamaria, the pearl is gaining on us" I say casually looking at it through the telescope.

"What?!" she demands and I look at her confused, didn't she hear me?

"I said..." I start to repeat and she cuts me off.

"I know what you said, Brass up the Forth Yard!" Anamaria shouts to the crew. Just then Elizabeth and Will appear from belong deck. Elizabeth's hand wrapped, Gibbs had wrapped mine when he was telling me about my daddy. "The black pearl, she's gaining on us" Anamaria states answering Elizabeth's question.

"This is the faster ship in the Caribbean" Elizabeth states.

"Fastest navy ship" I correct her.

"You can tell them that after they've caught us" Anamaria tells us.

"We're shallower in the draft right?" I ask her.

"Aye" she says.

"Then can't we lose them amongst them shoals" Elizabeth says getting my idea pointing to the shoals with me.

"We don't have to out run them long, just long enough" Gibbs states. Then starts to give orders to lighten the ship and to get more wind in our sails. It worked at first until oars appeared out of the pearl and they were practically on our tail.

"It was a good plan until now" Anamaria states. I grab a hold of Elizabeth's hand and she pulls me closer to her. Will told Gibbs we had to make a stand and fight. "With what?" Anamaria asks.

"Anything, everything anything we have left" Will tells us. Gibbs gave the order and everyone started to load the cannons. While I stuck close to Anamaria.

"The Pearl will luff off on our port quarter" Gibbs states. "She'll rake us without presenting a target" he clarifies.

"Lower the anchor on the right side" I tell them and they all look at me.

"On the starboard side!" Elizabeth states agreeing with my idea.

"Certainly holds the element of surprise" Will says.

"You're daft girls, all three of you are" Anamaria tells us.

"Daft like Jack" Gibbs says smiling at me and I smile back. "Lower the starboard anchor!" he shouts to the crew.

"Do it you gobs, or it'll be you we load into the cannons!" I shout and they immediately got to work. It's lowered and catches a rock or something as we begin to turn around. "Let go!" I shout at Anamaria and she let's go of the wheel. While I held onto the rail tightly beside Elizabeth.

"Don't leave my side Becky" Elizabeth tells me as the pearl pulls up along side us. Will and Uncle Hector give the orders & both ships open fire making me cover my ears. Everyone was using rifles to shoot at each other while Elizabeth protected me with her body. Suddenly Uncle Hector's crew boarded our ship and sword fights break out.

"We need more ideas lass" Gibbs states.

"It's your turn!" Elizabeth and I shout.

"We give them her" Anamaria says grabbing Elizabeth.

"She's not what they're after" Will states.

"The medallion" Elizabeth says and Will leaves telling her to watch over me. I shouted after him telling him to be careful. Suddenly a chain with two cannon balls was shoot at our main mast destroying it. I stay near Elizabeth as she started to shoot the pirates with a rifle. She then started using it to hit pirates that got to close as I stayed behind her scared.

"Look out!" I shout as a pirate snuck up behind her. But someone grabbed his hand and I looked up to see the pirate that saved Elizabeth from drowning. He said that wasn't very nice and Elizabeth knocks the pirate over board. "Daddy!" I shout and leap into his arms crying.

"It's ok Becky, I'm here" he assures me. "Where's dear William?" he asks Elizabeth looking at her hand. Suddenly she runs off shouting Will's name and Dad spots something. "Monkey!" he shouts and we run after it together. Suddenly we were crawling along the broken mast to the other ship.

"Why thank you Becky and Jack" Uncle Hector says and we look up to see him holding the medallion.

"You're welcome" Daddy says smiling.

"Not you, we named the monkey Jack" Uncle Hector tells him. I hug dad's arm as he stands beside me. "Gents our hope is restored!" he shouted to his crew and they cheer. Soon he was having Daddy's crew tied to the mast as he prepared to blow up the Interceptor.

"Don't look Becky" Daddy tells me and I hid my face in his chest. As I hard the massive explosions as silent tears ran down my cheeks. Daddy held me close to him rubbing my back as Elizabeth shouts at Uncle Hector for being a godless savage.
