One month. Four weeks and thirty days, I haven't seen her. They haven't let me see her. So I went up to the weakest one in school today.

I spot Honey grabbing books in her locker. I rushed up to her tapping her shoulder. Her eyes widened and she immediately turns away, I grab her shoulder. "Please. Please tell me what happened. I love her, honey. I really do love her." My voice cracks but I don't even mind. Her eyes soften and she clenches her jaw.

"You love her?" She asks quietly and I nod. "At least tell-" I stop talking when I see her right in front of us. Honey's eyes widen and she looks behind us. "Honeybee we got to go." Baby's eyes look to me and I nearly sprint to her, pulling her into my arms. "I've missed you so much. So so much, Babe." I whisper in her ear. She doesn't hug me back, my heart freezes.

"Baby?" I pull away and her face is a strawberry red. "I'm sorry, but I don't know you." My heart shatters. "Baby girl, let's go. Ellis and Mirren are waiting." Baby looked back at me as Honey pulled her away. James patted my shoulder as I slumped. "I'm not going to give up." James grinned at me. "I wouldn't expect you to."

I remembered when we told each other our fears.

Mine, pathetically enough, was being alone.

Hers breaking someone's heart.
