Could Care Less

I am special in my world, I own gifts under my own tree.
I think about how blessed my family is, and how much food I have on my plate.
Somehow, I should be ashamed, bored with myself. But
I don't care, I say,
How much more special you are,
Only because you can last in hardships
I can only attempt unto.

I don't care, I say,
How much more you mean to the world,
Only because you are a different race
I could never be part of.

I don't care, I say,
How much more than me you can grow,
Only because you can improve at
A rate I could never surpass.

I don't care if
You ride a coster I never have,
I don't care if
You learn something I never can,
I don't care if
You mean so much more to the world,
Because you have that much more class.

Why should you care,
I say, if my life "isn't fair"?
Why should you care,
I say, if my parents were "never there"?

You shouldn't, and neither should I.
You cannot make me preffer your life over mine.
You take pride in yourself, go ahead, appreciate the struggles that for you were set.
But be humble about it instead.

Mate, I dont care If you came straight outta the ghetto or whatever. Get a life, and be a showoff to yourself instead of me or anybody else (spoiler alert, it's hard)...

This poem is a "Meh, sure" for me, so if it is a bit simplistic, do not worry, we all think that, including myself.
