Chapter 5 : "or worse...expelled"

"How does she know more about you than you" Ron asks Harry as they ascend the staircase, the staircase suddenly jerks and moves leading them to a different floor.

"Let's get off before the staircase changes again" Hermione informs and all four of them hop off.

"This is the third floor, we're not supposed to be here" Jade whispers. The four turn around to spot Filchs cat.

"Thats--lets to hide in that door" Harry says and all the four quickly run behind him and shut the door.

"Why was the door locked" Ron asks looking through the key hole.

"It was locked for a good reason" Harry says and Jade, Ron and Hermione turn around to see a huge three headed dog stand infront of them. Screaming the kids, walk out of the room and banging it shut.

"Are they mad? Why would anyone keep a monster like that in a school" Ron manages to speak after the incident.

"Didn't you see? It was protecting something it was standing on a trap door" Hermione recalls.

"And better be off to bed before we kill ourselves or worse...expelled" She tells them and the three head their separate ways for the night.

"It's LeviosA not LeviOsar " Hermione urges Ron to pronounce the spell, the next morning, right as Jade looks deeply into her wand, all her Slytherin classmates were seated opposite to her while she sat next to the boy who lived. She felt safe with him, she felt home.

An outburst rates and Seamus's feather gets burnt due to his spell, conclusively the class was a disaster. Harry, Ron and Jade begin walking beside each other with Neville and Seamus behind them.

"Jade, don't your Slytherin classmates mind if you're with the Gryffindors" Seamus questions concerned.

"I seriously doubt even if they remember me, I'm a Muggle in Slytherin I hate to be in that house" she replies.

"Jade's cool, but Hermione is a nightmare" Ron says "It's LeviosA not LeviOsar" he laughs mocking Hermione, unknown Hermione was behind them and after hearing this conversation she brushes past them.

"I think she heard you Ron" Harry tells him.

"Ofcourse she did, you idiot" Jade scolds running behind Hermione, after a solid search Jade finds Hermione in the girls bathroom.

"Hey, I have been looking for you everywhere" she says walking inside and sitting next to Hermione on the floor.

"No one wants to be friend" she sobs.

"I want Mionie" she smiles.

"Thanks Jade but the last time I checked..." She trails.

"I was in a bad mood Hermione I'm sorry, but see I want to be friends we could be..."

"Best friends" Hermione finishes and both smile widely thinking about the things they could do together as friends, spend hours together in the library, attend classes together. This was going to be fun.

Just as they were walking out of the girls bathroom a huge full sized mountain troll swings it's weapon all the way through the girls bathroom crashing and breaking the doors.

Hermione and Jade scream their lungs out and go into hiding when Harry and Ron arrive completely exhausted.

"Jade and Hermione are you alright?" Ron says as Harry tries to distract the huge troll, instead gets his wand stuck in its nose and is held by the troll.

"Ron! Swish and Flick" Hermione urges him to use the levitation spell.

"Wingardium Leviosa" Ron mutters scared, the spell causing the trolls weapon to levitate and then fall on its head. The troll becomes a prey to the ground and falls with a thud, just as it falls Professor McGonagall accompanied by Professor Snape and Quirell walk into the scene.

"What are you children doing here?" She questions alarmed. Hermione walks forward and continues to speak.

"It's my fault completely, I came into the girls bathroom because I found it walk inside the girls lavatory and I got caught Jade, Ron and Harry came here only to help" she confesses making Jade give her a wide eyed stare.

"I'll be taking away five points from Gryffindor for Miss Granger's serious lack of judgement, and also be rewarding ten points to Ron, Harry and Jade each for sheer dumb luck" she tells them before walking off.

"That was fun" Jade giggles as four of them walk towards their respective dormatories.

"Are you sure, you'll be okay going back to the dungeons now?" Ron asks scared, he was thinking about all nasty creatures in there, spiders and snakes and what not.

"Thanks Ron, I will be have a good night all of you" she smiles weakly, because she knew she wasn't going to be okay going back to the dungeons. She hoped with all of her heart that no Slytherin would be awake.

"Pure-blood" she mutters to a wall and it slowly opens to give a sight of the Slytherin common room, she slowly begins to tip toe when a voice authoritatively questions her.

"Where have you been you filth?" Pansy asks, Jade turns around to see Pansy, Draco, Crabbe and Goyle standing near the fire in the common room, she knew this wasn't a good sign.
