Opposite Friendship
She has always secretly wished for a friend to hold her hand and let her cry without being strong for once. High-class society and business organizations have always put her on edge to never have a delightful childhood as normal children. She always yearned for the bright sunlight from her rusted cage. That was until she met him, her valuable friend...

"Pardon me Lady Kei, but why is the honor student in your headlock?" A rather young woman in her mid-twenties with a black clipboard slightly adjusted her thin glasses and sweat dropped at the scene before her.
"I'm getting rid of this huge trash!" A small and fuming girl with bright red hair had steam pouring out her ears as a male with charcoal black hair was suffocating within her grasp.
"Oww! Please don't kill me with your judo moves!"
"Lady Kei, Please don't injure the class representative again. You've only been here for a week..." Sweat dropping, even more, the counselor tried calming the fuming redhead.
"He's been following and bugging me for the past week! It's creepy! I'm positive that he's "J.S." who has been sending me letters!" Growling in fury and embarrassment, Lady Kei herself tightened the headlock as many can clearly hear the gasps for air from the poor boy. The counselor, on the other hand, she seems to be enjoying this because she senses a new blooming, but left the two in high hopes.
"I can't breathe! P-please, let me defend myself!" As the male faked the large crocodile tears, Kei dropped the rather tall male to his knees and dangerously glared like a lion hunting its prey.
"I demand you to speak peasant! I have tolerated your presence for too long!" Pointing her forefinger injustice towards the said male, she was taken aback by the gentle smile of comfort he held.
"I want to be your friend! You've always looked strong in public but you always carry this sad aura in your eyes despite being by others so-" Whipping his head both ways, he became confused and disappointed. "Where'd she go? I didn't even say my name..."
Little did the male know that Lady Kei is one of the fastest girls when shocked and embarrassed. She's still currently running for her little life at how accurate the young man was about her loneliness and soon found herself in the Senior building. Little did Kei know that her red hair would be the string of fate to lead her to her past.
"Hey! It's the pitiful sheep in wolf's clothing! How are you faring after leaving us?" Trembling in fear and betrayal, the once powerful redhead felt weak to her bones as a gang of six girls hovered over her scarred form.
"W-why are all of you here too?! I n-never left you s-six... I was sabotaged and left a-alone by all of you! You built me up with comfort to only b-break my reputation and me just because my Father's company is wealthy! I was your play toy for your anger... You don't know what's it like to be alone after being broken-"
Feeling a protective and noble embrace from behind, Kei was stopped within time to slowly vanquish the heart-breaking feel of betrayal. The loud gasps of shock from the six girls were loud and clear as they shuffled back a few feet. Although Kei couldn't turn to glance at the male, she felt grateful for a savior.
"Isn't it rude to make an innocent lamb cry for such horrid memories? Stop being such boorish pigs!" Realizing whose voice had spoken, Kei was dumbfounded to why the male who wanted to be her friend was saving her. Was he going to use her for anger and money too?
"Jun-Seo?! She's no innocent lamb but rather a wolf! Just listen to what Kei did in Junior high-"
Swirling in a sea of emotions, Kei felt lost and desperate. She didn't want to transfer just to have more rumors and heartbreaks.
"I already knew what happened and I don't' care. I'll stay by her side and be a true friend! I'll protect her from people like you!" Feeling the burning gaze from Jun-Seo, the six left in a hurry as Kei sobbed in joy, relief, and doubt.
"Jun-Seo... Why..." Questioning out loud, Kei finally knew her savior's name but yet to know his reason.
"I know what it's like to be isolated and it hurts but I'll say it again... I want to be your friend!" Giving his brightest and warmest smile, Kei wiped away her stray tears, as she knew that she could trust someone this one time. She was willing to take a good risk.

Being left alone and betrayed by trusted friends hurts the most in the world because we humans have no limits to emotions. But, when we do find that one person who will stand by your side, it truly is amazing to have in mankind to create the bonds of redhead trust. Sometimes explaining emotions can't be foretold to the max, but there are things that bring a human down and people who bring us up. Everyone has struggles or pain at some point in their lives, but when finding someone who has your back, you too want to protect them back with all of your heart. Friendship is a key goal in life because it's a motivation for why you're still standing or why you will soon stand, in the midst of struggles and beauty.
