"That was the most boring day of my life!" Kai groaned.

You had decided to bring Kai to school with you. Yeah, maybe that wasn't the brightest idea. He hated it. He was mostly complaining the whole day of why he should be here rather than being at home chilling.

You rolled your eyes and walked around a corner. "Now you know what I have to put up with"

Walking home probably wasn't another bright idea either. Earlier that day, you had been cornered by the popular bullies. Their leader, Ana, threatened you.

To be honest, you weren't really scared of her caked up face. She was probably just looking for attention or some way to get more popular.

Kai wasn't to pleased that you got bullied either. He had told you that he was going to maker her look like a piece of bacon after he was finished with her. You laughed at that.

While you were walking down a dark alleyway, a can rolled past your feet. You froze on the spot and you could feel Kai tense up.

"Look like someone didn't take my threat seriously." An annoying voice said.

Turning around you spotted Ana and two of her gang members standing behind her with their hands on their hips like they owned the place.

You scoffed, "leave me alone, Ana" you spat at her and walked the other way.

But instead of being a clear walkway, there was more of Ana's gang standing there, fist raised and mouths stretched into a nasty scowl.

You frowned at this and then sighed. You faced Ana again. "Alright, what is it"

She started to walk towards you. You could hear Kai growling like an animal from your shoulder.

Once Ana was right up in your face you stepped back, only to run into more of her minions. She smiled sickly at you.

"I want you dead." She said innocently.

Yous scoffed, "that's a little too far for you, don't you think."

She just growled. You smiled and continued, "I mean, you don't want your prescious outfit to be ruined, now do we?"

Ana raised a fist, "that's it!"

As she was about to land a hit on your jaw, a small voice spoke up, making everyone freeze, including you.

"I wouldn't do that if I was you." Kai threatens.

He hadn't come out from your hair on your shoulder so everyone was looking around for the voice.

"Who said that? Show yourselves!" Ana shouted.

Kai stepped forward a little and Ana stared at him in amusement. She then looked at you. "What is this? Some kind of toy?"

Her and her minions laughed. Of course this made Kai even more furious. Sure they can insult him, but they were going to hurt someone he cared for! No way was he going to let that happen.

"I'm not a toy!" Kai yelled in frustration.

This caught the girls attention. Ana peered closely at Kai and snickered. "This is adorable!"

She was about to poke Kai's chest but he made a flame engulf his clawed fist. Ana gasped and stumbled back a little.

The other girls freaked out and began to run for their pathetic lives. Kai and you smirked at this. Ana didn't like this one bit.

"This is some kind of trick!" She spat and stood up straight, trying to look brave.

Kai scoffed, "this real enough for you"

Kai flicked a the flame to Ana's hair and it instantly lit up in fire. It want enough to hurt her, only enough to burn most of it off.

Ana screamed. "My hair!" She wailed.

She glared at both Kai and You."You'll pay for this!" She screamed and ran off.

Once she was gone you grabbed Kai and kissed his forehead, making him blush. "That was awesome!" You cheered.

Kai blushed, "no, no prob, Bob."
