You watched as the cookie jar on the shelf moved an inch away from the spot it was originally placed in.

You were hiding behind the couch and narrowed your eyes at the jar. This has been happening for a week now and you never caught the thief.

Every time you got close to the jar, a red blur would pass and you would always miss catching a glimpse at the culprit.

You tiptoed your way to the shelf and got ready to lift the jar. You counted to three in your head and quickly lifted the jar, only to see the red blur pass again.

You muttered a few curse words under your breath and decides to call someone to get rid of the pest problem.

After dialing the exterminator you plopped down on the couch and flicked to a random show.

Not five minutes had passed before your doorbell rung. Sprinting to the door you threw it open, only to be hit by a disgusting smell that made your nose scrunch up.

Standing there with a bottle of beer in his hands was a dirty man with a unshaven beard. His clothes had holes in it and some dirt smudges.

"Uhhh.." You were lost for words. He only grunted and pushed passed you and into your home.

You glared at his back and shut the door. The man was looking around your house while you rolled your eyes.

"In the kitchen, on the shelf." You instructed the dirty man and he stumbled his way there.

You watched as he inspected the area and nods to himself. He got out a container full of green liquid and started to spray the shelf.

Both of you gasped when you saw the familiar red blur run pass again. The man cursed and started to spray faster as he watches the blur run away from the gas.

The blur quickly darted backwards and forwards before coming to your direction. This was your chance and you took it.

You quickly darted your hands to the blur and picked it up by the shirt...?!

You almost dropped the small thing but kept a firm hold on it. Looking closely at the figure you could see it was a small LEGO man with spiky brown hair wearing a red Gi.

The LEGO man huffed and crossed his arms. "What? Never seen a good looking guy before?"

You only noticed that you were staring at him and a blush spread across your cheeks.

"Let me sprayyy thattt thiiing!" The exterminator slurred and you quickly brought the LEGO man closer to your chest.

"I think your job's done now." You spoke seriously and glared at the drunk man.

"Not yet-" He started tl reach out towards you but you instead began to push him to the door.

"Take the money and leave." You slammed the door shut after him and the money were out of the house.

"Woah." The LEGO guy whispered while you smiled in triumph.

Heading to the lounge, you placed the small man on your coffee table while you sat on the edge of the couch.

"Care to explain what you're doing?" You asked while the lego man sighed and dropped his head.

"I was hungry." He mumbled while your eyes soften.

"Hey. It's okay." You poke his weirdly warm chest, making the LEGO guy look up at you. "You could have just asked."

"I don't think so. You would have screamed and ran away." He shrugged and looked off into the distance.

You thought for a moment. "Do you have a home?"

The lego man looked back at you and shook his head. You smiled warmly. "Welcome to your new home. I'm (Y/N)!"

The LEGO man's eyes were wide and he was smiling so big that you thought his face would rip open.

"Thank you, (Y/N). My name's Kai."
