Six grips Mono's hand.

Tightly, so secure. Mono's sure she'll gonna pull him up, escape like everything an enemy tries to either eat or destroy then.

Six is hesitant, Mono looks into those covered eyes.

She looks down. Six unconsciously bites the bottom of her lip, blood slowly drawing. Licking the substance, the girl let out an internal sigh.

Groooowwwwl.

The hunger came. Holding back is very, very heard.

Six's been doing that ever since meeting Mono.

I'm so sorry.

Either dropping to boy to a risky death, or let herself be consumed to eventually give in? It should be an easy choice, it's so hard.

Hungry, hungry, hungry.

The thoughts repeats so much. The signal tower gave it so much life, in return, Six is so much more weak.

"Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm, hmmmmmm.."

The humming begins again, the tune cutting out Six's resistance. The truthful choice making its presence more clear. Six saw Mono grip tightly.

His question not needing to be said.

Will you save me?

Save him from the fall? From herself? The hunger?

Mono's tasty-

Six abruptly ends the thought. She makes the choice.

She lets them both fall. Mono looks...relieved.

Mono squeezes tighter, Six smiles.

If they die, they'll go down together.

Six smells something icky.

Feeling a squishy thing, Six hand presses against the substance to stand. She doesn't mind anything right now. Mono's on her mind.

She needs to find the boy.

The ground pushed more when she presses on. The hunger still faintly falling out, making more tempting offers. The signal tries to take over.

Six pushes the thoughts away.

She barely has enough energy to carry on. The hunger feeds inside Six's body to preserve its own hinges. She's hosting a leech.

It feeds almost constantly.

Keep it away. Keep it away.

One words rings the most.

Resist.

The flesh's eyes keep an eye on the anomaly. Six's shadows keep the darkness at bay. Ironic since they were born out of it.

It pleases Six to know they'll betray the darkness.

But inside the colour, she makes out a faint shadow.

The Thin Man.

Six backs away. She's not done anything.

She's not betrayed Mono.

He smiled, he smiled.

Thin Man floats more closer, Six crawls backward to avoid getting caught. It worked on the maw.

It won't work here.

Thin Man reaches out, hand at ready to capture.

"HEY!"

A voice yells, causing both entity and child off guard.

Mono stands to the right, hand at the ready to strike.

It's sad that Six sees the resemblance. The urge to run almost overtakes. Curiosity wins to see how this works out.

Mono and Thin battle until the inevitable death.

One last time.

Signals fly everywhere.

Flesh manipulated to fly, blocking Six's sight momentarily, also serving to make her feel absolutely disgusted.

Mono's rage contributes to the finale.

Thin Man bows, Mono's now visible face staring blankly. Thin Man submits, changing into static.

Mono absorbs his counterpart's abilities.

Travelling upto Six, allows a hug this once.

Grabbing the boy's hand, she awes at the easy controlled signal. The hunger begins again.

Eat, eat, eat.

Six gestures to a spot, Mono gives the pressure point.

At least the hunger can't take over now.

Six knows Mono will save them, the thought becoming the only coherent as she falls to the darkness, the abyss known as sleep.

"Hey.."

Mono picks Six up, using his newfound powers.

Everything will now be okay.

Mono finds it easy to believe. Now the two will escape. If not, then they'll figure a way out.

Together.
