Two Months Later

Lucy's P.O.V

I picked up the black colored rose that I found on my countertop and looked around. I didn't see anything or anyone out of order. Yet I knew he was here. I felt him. When I looked back in front of me I gasped. Shuu had been about an inch away from me. I blushed and looked away from him causing him to chuckle. He grabbed me and pulled me closer to him before he bit the side of my neck. I should have been used to this but wasn't. It was so out of the ordinary. I pierced my finger into the rose I held causing me to cringe again. I had to ignore it. I had to ignore the pain. That seemed to work well, it always did. He noticed my discomfort and looked at my hand to see a cut from the rose. He lifted my hand and licked the area where I had been cut. Making me blush. I looked away from him.  As he noticed my blush, he blushed as well. He tried to hide it but had a hard time doing so. I could tell he didn't want me to see him but he hugged me. I blushed even harder. I was not used to it. I mentally slapped myself. He didn't like me and I didn't like him. Still, I couldn't get over his hug. He let go of me and left. I looked down at the rose in my hand and ran into the hallway.

"Shuu what does this mean?" I said as I held the rose.

"Whatever you want it to mean." He walked down the stairs. I had been confused but knew he was not going to answer me. So I went back inside. I stared at the rose and felt my blush return again.

"Shuu seemed less dark, less scary, less of a worry. What's going on with him?" I got dressed in my uniform and ran down the hall. 

At school

As I sat at my desk I couldn't help but wonder what the rose could have meant. Shuu was not usually this nice and yet he hugged me, and he kissed me. Even though I didn't want to kiss him, I didn't feel wrong. Once lunch had started I grabbed the rose from my bag and went to look for him but couldn't find him in the music room. So I continued looking for him and found him walking down the hall. 

"Shuu" He turned around making me run up to him.  "Shuu what's going on with you? You're not really like this." His cheeks heated up before he grabbed me and brought me to the roof.  "Why are we-" He kissed me, making me blush.  Before I could back away, he did it for me. 

"I like you" I blushed even harder.

"N...n...nani?" 

"I like you, Lucy." He kissed me, again, without my permission and yet I couldn't fight back. Not because he had been too strong but because an emotion stopped me. He backed away and looked at me. "Do you like me too?" I looked at the rose and noticed a white luminescent light appear on it. Suddenly the rose started to become lighter and eventually turned red. It was beautiful. My thumb brushed against the petal before I looked at him and seen that he looked worried, his face didn't show it but his eyes did. I felt my face began to heat up and tried to cover it up with my bangs. I am hurting myself, aren't I? Hiding in my feelings for him.  I looked up and stood on my tiptoes before I placed my lips on his. His arms wrapped around my waist, causing me to wrap my arms around his neck. I finally had been able to understand why I couldn't pull away. His kiss had been so sweet, so different, that I couldn't and didn't want to pull back. It was impossible for me not to.  The school bells were rung causing him to pull away. He chuckled at my embarrassed expression. "I take that as you like me back?" I nodded. "Good"

After school

I sat on the couch with Plue and watched a movie that had seemed so popular now. Which I couldn't understand why. It seemed to be so strange. Maybe because it had been about a vampire and an ordinary human, which had been so much like my boyfriend. I blushed even harder at my words. He was now my boyfriend...I think. 

"Shuu" 

"Why are you blushing so hard?" I looked next to me to see Shuu sitting next to me. Which I had not been used to. He looked at the tv and smirked.

"What?" 

"Lucy, these are the typical stereotypes they have with vampires. Were not affected by garlic or crosses." 

"What about me?" I asked innocently. Causing him to blush and look away. "Shuu-kun?" I said as I turned his head to look at me. "How do I affect you?"

"Oi" I giggled at his expression and continued watching tv with him. As I watched tv, a question came to mind. I looked at Shuu. 

"Shuu, do you know who Yuma mukami is?" He looked at me in my eyes and didn't say anything. "Please tell me." I begged him. He sighed.

"Yuma is someone from my past." He said then looked at the door. 

"I have to go." 

"Shuu" 

"Sunrise will come soon." I didn't want him to leave but had no choice but to let him go.
