"No! My Hat!"

Who may you have asked just lost their hat? Well, really today was a windy day. You get the picture. They just wanted to do a bit of shopping. Then go get a gift for their sweetheart!

"Not the tree!" Koan yelled as she sees her hat now get caught in a branch. Okay. Its at least there. Maybe she can go climb up-

A stronger breeze and the branch tore into the hat. The yellow hat flying away.

"NO!"

Koan kept chasing her hat in the park. She could just by another one. Heck, probably better ones. But she like that hat! Got to give the humans of this time some credits of fashion sense.

Her hat finally stops flying away.

Only because someone grab it before it falls in the pond.

"Hey that min- "She stop as the figure look at her. Small gulp looking at those scars and eyes. Why does she fill uncomfortable from this person? She is Koan! The youngest of the Akayashi Sisters! Besides! Who wears a scarf and coat like that in this kind of weather?

Then they brought her hat in front of her.

"Oh, um tha-NO! ITS RUIN!" Koan cried in dismay looking at her pale-yellow sun hat. There was a big hole on the side that would need fixing up. Koan good at many things but sewing well not her strong suit.

Poke on the shoulder.

"What!"

"I can fix it."

Koan blinked at the voice and eyes narrowed. "What in it for you?"

"Eyes can stop looking at us."

Koan blinked and see many people looking at her direction. Flush in pure embarrassment and stand up fast. "I um well get too it!"

Just gave raise eye brow and goes to sit down with her hat.

"Wait! You said you'll fix it- "

Pull out a case from his coat. Then open it that had needle and some patch supplies.

"Oh...How long will this take you? I got to do some errands." Koan blinked and watch as he already getting to work.

"Longer if you stand there and just staring."

Koan gapped at the calm yet sassy tone. How dare they! She twitches and ready to rip her hat out of their grip. But then remember the limited time she will be down here. Along with well should be searching for rabbit. Wanted to have some fun. She huffed. "Fine I'll be back but it better look great once I come back!"

"Whatever you say cat woman."

"Excuse me!"

"Your hair style like cat ears and you're a woman. Unless im misjudging you then my apologies- "

"I am a woman! A young, beautiful, charming woman with amazing boyfriend."

"Don't know how the last thing relevant but okay." Saying all this while still sewing.

"I'll be back!"

"Movie references now?"

Koan storms off and grumbling.

Her hat better look great when she comes back. Or she will burn them to the ground!

Her mind soon calms down after doing some shopping. At a perfume shop now and looking around. Finding a good gift for her lover! She hopes Rubeus likes it. He been so grouchy and not please with them lately. Especially after that full out fight with those Scouts. She was close to get that Rabbit at the beginning!

Shake her head and pay for the gift, along with a few other supplies. Soon walks out the store. Only to bump into some buffoon and her stuff was dropped!

"Im sorry! Are you okay?"

"What the matter with you? Watch where you going!" Koan snapped at the young man.

"Im sorry! Im so sorry!"

"Come on Chad! Pick up her things!" A familiar raven hair teen yelled.

"Right! Right. Right! Right!" Chad repeated while picking up everything.

Wait a minute. Koan stared at the young man. He's the guy from that protection class with that old man. The girl too.

"Here you go." Chad smile and handed her bag back.

Koan grabbed it out of his hands and stand back up. Look down at him and huffed. "Man, what a loser."

Walks away from the two and huffed.

Guys like him will never find happiness.

Good thing she can make her dear Rubeus happy!

Error looks over the hat and hums. Let's see if 'cat woman' likes the decoration they added on. Well, if they come back. Not like he cares. Only did this too passed the time. Glance at his phone and see they were here longer than he expected.

Where were they anyway?

"Hey! Is my hat done!"

Error glance over to see the young woman return back with an umbrella, along with a suitcase. "Come see yourself."

Koan grumble and walks over. Ready to grab the hat and get out of here quickly.

Her mood not well the greatest at the moment. Had to go back to that shrine to check for the Rabbit. Then Rubeus crush the bottle cologne she bought him. Mood did slightly lift up when she bought a fortune. Till Rubeus got on her case wasting time and not finding the rabbit. She trying her best to find them! Can't he tell! She was working so dang hard. Then got an idea how to possibly get closer to those working inside the shrine.

A cosmetics saleswoman!

It was so easy! Got the make-up she personally made. Well, not all her best stuff. After all can't reveal all your secrets. Made sure she looks well but wasn't please to keep carrying the umbrella. Till she remembers her hat she left with that stranger to fix!

Now was being so sassy at her. Again!

Puts her stuff down and arms crossed.

Then Error turns the hat around to let her see.

Her sneer dropped and face turn to awe when she looks at her hat. There were three purple-black flowers that were stitched in the area where it was torn at.

"Would have seen a thin, long stitching on the side. The flowers will give it a look like it was part of a stem." Error thrust the hat to her.

Koan immediate takes it and look at it in awe. This was so pretty! She puts it on and grab her mirror to look. It looks so charming when it on her.

"You like?"

"I love it!" Koan smile and then dropped. Letting out an awkward cough. "Well, um thank you for your service."

"Its nothing." Stands up and nods. "Have a good day mame."

"Wait? Shouldn't you asked me to pay for this!"

"I offered to fix it. So, don't need or want your money."

Koan huff and head up to the sky. "How charitable of you."

"Just take good care of it and don't let any wind blow it out the way. Looks very nice on you Cat woman." Error was already gone to far away to care. Or just stop listening. Roll their eyes and pull their phone back out.

Koan stares with a slight flush. Well, of course she looks nice! But it was a bit sweet to hear and brought her mood back up.

She grabs her stuff and start heading to the shrine. Touch the flower on her hat again. Couldn't help but giggle slightly. Have to admit they got good taste and coloring of the flowers. Maybe Rubeus will like it on her hat. Her sisters going to be very jealous and she will not share!

"HAHAHA REI THIS MANGA HILAROUS!" Usagi laughing as she reads one of Rei manga. Came by to help her out. While the others doing who knows what at the moment.

"How about less reading and come help me clean up!" Rei yelled at her.

"Wow someone snappy. What's wrong with you?" Usagi not looking at her as she flips the next page.

"Nothing wrong with me." Rei huffed and arms cross.

"Sure."

"There not!"

"Excuse me is anyone home?"

Rei and Usagi blinked hearing a young woman voice. At the front of Rei home. The pair look to check and see a young woman with long wavy violet hair, with a suitcase and pretty hat. "Hello how may I help you?"

"Im selling cosmetic products." Koan smiles at the two girls as she plays the part. "My aren't you two lovely young ladies. Are you models?"

"Rei one of my models to try on clothes I made."

"Hey!"

"Speaking the truth and don't' complain you don't mind it."

"Oh? You sew?"

"I sure do." Usgai grinned and look at the woman. "Pretty hat mame."

"M-mame." Koan laughed and mentally crying. She not that old looking! Is she?

Soon got the girls to sit down and show them her products. Talking as long she can to hopefully see if the little rabbit will come.

"-This one here is very gentle on your skin." Koan pushed another small tube to them. "If you ise something like this, you'll find yourselves boyfriend in no time."

"Or to just have on general to clean your face." Usagi pick one up and study it.

"Hmm yes that too. So, I guess you both already taken."

"Nope. Living the single life."

"Well, I wouldn't quite call him a "boyfriend"."

"Yeah, what are you two now anyway? Like I admit you two are cute together. But then sometimes I think you two se each other as well like family. Or siblings of sorts."

"It's um complicated."

"Doesn't seem complicated when you hit him with a broom."

"Hey! He was supposed to do his chores this morning!"

"I see you two are beaming in the love life situation." Koan chuckle at the pair. "Well even so, to be loved, you must wear makeup and make yourself beautiful!"

"Huh."

"Um I think I'll pass on the makeup."

"Same but do you have a card. These seem really great."

"Oh, um." Koan now embarrassed and head down in shame. Why didn't she think of that!  "I forgot them. Yes! Hahaha! Clumsy me! Ill bring them next time when I come back to make a next stop!"

"Sounds find too me."

"Great! Oh, um by the way is their little girls here too? We starting a new makeup beginner kit to girls. Like basics and such."

"Sorry, don't have siblings and cousins that live here."

"Well, thank you anyway. Ill com by next time to drop a card off. Have a good day girls." Koan grabs everything back in the suitcase and walk out the front entrance. Smile and drop slightly. Dangit that Rabbit must only come here now and then. Ill have to stay here longer to keep an eye out.

That what Koan did hiding and watching. Sees the pigtail blonde girl now leaving the shrine and saying goodbye to that boy who works here. Come where is she! Oh? Wait. Never mind she sees her. Sneaking out another way that not at the front entrance. Well can't complain!

Success!

Chibiusa grinned able to sneak the other way to not be spotted by Usagi. Did not want to hear a lecture about her being out here alone. Let alone get grounded by Uncle again. They are scary and don't' like the look she gets from them. Then a sister! Daddy and Mommy never mention a Aunt! She knew she had an uncle at one point but never a sister. Maybe something happens to them. But it not fair she didn't know! Then Usagi herself! That blonde pigtail complainer can't be her mother at all! Her and mommy are so different. Nothing like the Sailor Moon she knows from the stories. Will not accept it!

"Found you Rabbit!"

Chibiusa eyes widen in fear as one of the sisters from the Black Moon Clan Appeared.  Cried out in fear an was slam on the ground by the woman.

"I got you now Rabbit and no more waiting around. Let's end this-"Koan soon hit in the back of the head with a broom.

"Hey leave her alone!" Chad yelled at her.

"A broom? Did you seriously hit me with a broom! I have to work hard to make my hair this beautiful and you dare hit me with that!"

Chad gulped and slowly back away.

"No one messes with my hair! DARK FIRE!"

Chad yells and runs being chase by the blue fire. He yells and falls to the ground as it almost got him.

Koan jumps close by and sneer. "Now die-Who threw a rock at me?!"

"Chad quickly gets up and run!" Rei yells at Chad.

"One obstacle after another! Getting sick of it! DARK FIRE!"

Rei and Chad quickly dodge to get away from the fire attack. Each time harder and harder as Koan didn't stop. Rei cried out in pain and thrown to the ground.

"Die!"

"Rei!"

"Chad!" Rei yelled in shock and horror to see him take the hit that was meant for her.

"What?" Koan stared in shock at what they did. "Why did you protect her? After what she did to you? I saw her treat you badly and hit you with a broom!"

"I love her."

"H-huh!"

"Huh." Rei blinked and blushed brightly.

"That's the stupidest thing I ever heard! Why would you love someone who will not love you back!'

"In my own way. It doesn't have to be romantic but I care about her, this place. I will do what I can to protect her." Chad gritted his teeth in pain from the burns. While Rei held him close.

"Chad, I got you! Hang in there." Rei holding him up the best she can. While the inside panicking at the situation. Lower him down on the ground and stand up. Turn her hair and glare at the woman. Her purple eyes burning in rage. "Unforgivable. I will make you pay for this!"

"What you going to do about it-"

"MARS STAR POWER MAKE-UP!"

What! Koan to shock at the situation. Could have use this time to attack but didn't. "Y-You're a Sailor Scout!"

"BURNING MANDALA!"

Koan panic and quickly move out the way. Soon on the roof and staring down at the scout. "Well, this is perfect. Once I kill you along with the Rabbit. Master Rubeus will be very please with me. DARK FIRE!"

Mars runs and dodges the fire.

The two fire wielders throwing attack after attack at each other. Koan takes Mars by surprised as she attacks her from behind. Got an elbow to the face. Mars cried out from shock and pain as she was thrown to the ground. Mars pants and quickly grab Chad when Koan throws another Dark Fire attack at them. She winces in pain and the soreness she was feeling. Koan defiantly wasn't holding back this time. Let out a cry a pain when they fell and the shooting pain in her leg.

"You fool!" Koan lands back down to the ground. "If you just abandoned that man, you could've escaped. Now look at you. It's pathetic."

"I will not do that to him!" Mars huffed and stared at her, "He got hurt because of me and I will not let that happen again to him, along with anyone else! He protected me!"

"Protected please. I thought you don't care about him that way. Like your pigtail hair friend said."

"Hu-huh? Wait." Mars eyes widen in shock at the realization kicking in. "You were that's saleswoman.'

"Why are you going so far to protect that man? He even said so himself his love not romantically. He also a looser, doesn't have great qualities. He was following you around like a lost puppy!"

Mars slowly force herself to stand up and stood protectively in front of Chad." His qualities are fine. He sincere, caring, and loyal."

"Ha! If that's it you two can't win against the love Master Rubeus and I share."

"You really aren't paying attention are you." Rei pants and look at her. "It doesn't need to be romantic love. But you. Your love is narcissistic! You don't even think about the other person feels or care. That no love of any kind at all especially this truelove you're trying to convince yourself you have!"

Koan eyes widen in shock and taken back. She wrong! She doesn't understand at all! Sure, Rubeus can be mean sometimes. But he just trying to do all he can to kill the Rabbit. T-That's it! He does care for her! "O-Of course its true love! Were very, very close! We love each other very close! He even calls me his love!"

"Y-yeah? How about his actions?"

Koan shaking at the gift she got him and he just shattered it. Then along with other memories she buried far back down. Try to make excuses. That it's okay. Its for the Black Moon Clan. For the family. Its tough love even if there were times it felt humiliating. Remember a time her and sisers were close when they were younger. Berthier warns her but soon stop. All them stop in a way when they got their marks. No! He does care! R-right? Yes, he does! He trusted her to do this!  Shake her head fast. "Shut up! Your wrong! I will not listen to you and I have heard enough of this silly nonsense! Im wasting my time with you! Stay right here while I go finished taking care of the rabbit!"

"No!" Mars yells and sees she teleport away.

Koan soon back by the unconscious kid. Began to fire attack at the pink hair rabbit.

SWOOSH!

She was beginning to really understand why these scouts hate this rose. Or at least the person who throwing it. Look up and growled "You!"

"The Image of love shimmering in the heat. Come, you sad lost soul. Listen to the sound of a loving heart." Tuxedo Mask said looking down at her.

"What." Koan was just very confused at what she just heard. Why haven't they got rid of this guy yet? Sees he jumped down and soon take the rabbit!

"Farewell!"

"Hey, wait you! Come back here at once with that rabbit!"

"BURNING MANDALORA!"

Koan cried out in pain as she didn't have time to block the attacks. Fell on the ground and panted. "D-Dame you! You caught me o-off guard."

"Your h-here to fight me. R-remember." Mars pants and able to move closer compared to before. Till she fall on her knees.

Koan growled.

"Koan."

Koan face dropped in shock and turn to look at the air. "Master Rubeus."

"Have you taken care of the rabbit yet?" The red head man looking down at her. Not a look of care or worry of her battered appearance. Along with wounds and bruises.

"I-Im very sorry." Koan force herself to stand up. Face look genuine sorry. She really wanted to accomplish this mission. "I did have her for a minute but then she got away."

"Once again you failed. But not just your sisters, the Black Moon clan, but also me." Shake his head like a disappointed parent. "Work for me such a very, very long time. But barely show much success even when you would so much determination to do it. Quite pathetic to see such a trait left behind in a failure."

Koan shaken and trying to not show any tears.

Mars glared at this man in disgust. The attitude reminded her of her 'father'.

"This will be the last time we will be seeing each other Koan."

"Wait! Please give me one more chance master! Im in a battle with this sailor scout right now! I will kill her! To make up for my failures and to forgive me!" Please don't leave me! 

"You no longer have the necessary power to fight her."

"H-huh?"

What does he mean by that? Rei watches all this closely. Wince feeling the pain return back to her ankle.

"Then you can help fight her! Together with me!"

"Where did you get the idea we are together." Rubeus sneered but please at the broken look beginning to show on her face. "Why would I be together with such an incompetent subordinate like you?"

"H-How could you say that." Koan whispered. Eyes shining in heartbreak and hurt from his words. Words that were sharper and hitting her harder than normal. "I've l-loved you all this time and you love me!"

"Love you say? Such foolishness. I never love such a worthless thing like you! Love does not exist in the Black Moon Clan!"

Koan gasped and hurt could be shown on her face.

"Y-you prick." Rei snarled at him and look at Koan direction. The devastated look on her face was hard to look at.

"This will be my first and last present to you. I want you to have it." Rubeus began to form a ball size black orb with green energy surrounding it. Then toss the orb down to her as it began to glow brighter.

Koan stared at the 'present' and look at it. Clearly knows what it is. "But this is- "

"Use it to erase the Sailor Scout from this world. It such a wonderful gift after all. Better than those useless cosmetics you been giving me." Rubeus smirks and soon was gone.

"A bomb." Koan whispered and look at it. "He wants me gone for good."

"Koan!" Mars shouts to her. "Koan get rid of it right now!"

"Its to late." Koan had tears sliding down her face. She hates crying. It would ruin her makeup but why does it matter now. Small smile. "You've won. It seems I believed in the wrong kind of love after all."

"No!"

Koan eyes widen when the orb was snatched. Even after the bright glow that should have blinded her. Then was able to see. The moment that skeleton like face came in her vision. Then took the orb and disappeared with it. Away from her. Away to her death. Falls to the knees and staring at what happen. Then her eyes landed on the ground.

"G-girls!" Mars beamed to see the other scouts arrived. Along with worry where Error took that bomb with him.

"Were here Mars!"

"Koan give it up!"

"Don't run away from us!"

"I have nowhere left to run."

The scouts blinked in confusion as they stared at the backside of the youngest sister.

"I-I always had a place to run too. But I can't anymore. I've lost everything." Koan slowly stand back up and shaking. Snap her neck at their direction. The rage in her eyes as she was still crying. "Everything is your fault! It's all your fault!"

"Koan no!" Rei yelled at to her as she charged at the four.

The girls taken back as Koan go on a rampage attacking. No, attacks of sorts but physically fighting them. While screaming at them. Mars watching all this and felt like she was going to cry as she listens to Koan pain and rage. The Sailor Scouts staying back as she goes after each of them. Trying to hurt them.

"My life is over! I've lost everything! My home! My family! My sisters! I will never be back with my sisters again! All because of you people! I have no future! No, love1 No, home! Its all your fault!" Koan crying and screaming.

"Stop!"

Jupiter roared and ready to strike Koan in the stomach to stop her.

Mars block the attack with her own body and cried out in pain.

Jupiter and Koan stare in shock, horror and surprise.

"Mars!"

"S-Stop! Everyone stop!" Mars laying on top of Koan like she was protecting her.

"Wh-Why?" Koan whispered in shock and confusion. Not understanding why, she did that. Why she protected her after all she done.

"I-it's not over Koan." Mars panted and look at Koan with a warm smile. "You haven't lost everything. You still have yourself. If you believe you were wrong, you can fix it little by little."

"I-I can't- "

"Yes, you can."

"Error!"

They turn to see Error return back. Look a bit of a mess after getting rid of that bomb. But doesn't seem to worry about it.  He looks at Koan with a neutral look but eyes showed a bit of awareness.

Koan sniffed and look at Mars.

"You can start you new future. Right here. Right now, Koan." Mars look at her with a warm smile of understanding.

Koan began to cry as it fully hits her of this situation. Then hug Mars.

Mars startled but return the hug back to the woman. She turns and look at them all. "Can we help her? Like heal and start over."

Sailor Moon blink ad look at Koan. Then back at Error, Luna, and Artemis. "Can we, do it?"

"The silver Crystal does have healing abilities."

"It'll be like a healing cleanse of sorts. Could use the Silver Crystal or the strings. Maybe both with the magic. It's coming from her mark but also those crystal earrings." Error touch Usagi shoulder and gave her nod. "Do what you think will be best."

Sailor Moon nods and summons out the Silver Crystal from her brooch. Close her eyes and open them up as magic surrounds them. Familiar Crystal blue tear marks appeared down her cheek. Alright Koan lets start you up with a new life here. MOON CYSTAL POWER REFRESH!"

The next few days.

Well, safe to say it actually did work. Along with able to heal some of Rei injuries. Usagi did get exhausted so Error took care of anything Chad had. The guy did wake up and scream seeing Error as his real form. Then passed out thinking it was dream.

Got Koan a place to be settle once they take care of the paper work. Aka Error doing that for her. She was confused how that will work but told her to not worry about it. Will be covered. Even revealed how maybe one day. But did sit with her what to look over since she wants to take responsibility. Along with a job. She knows her cosmetic materials well and seem to enjoy it. Had a good time selling and making them. Won't believe how many times she almost attack a cosmetic salesperson just because of the ingredients they were putting in makeup and moisturizer.

Now Koan beginning to get a name. It still small right now but she fine with that. Want to work for it and already getting a decent amount of customers. Along with some positive reviews.

"Koan it's great to see you!" Rei smile at the woman as she arrived at the shrine.

"You too Rei." Koan lift her head up and smile warmly. She look happier than before. No, longer wearing the black crystal earrings. Happier but still some healing on the way. "I brought those cards this time.

"Hah not living us down with that."

"Well, I've gotta make it professional after all." Koan grinned and notice the shoes. "Got company?"

"Yeah. Usagi, Lita, Chibiusa, and Kasumi are here. Offered to make lunch for us. You want to stay and eat?"

"I shouldn't interrupt-YOU!"

"Hello Cat woman." Error coming out from the side and look at Koan.

"Cat woman." Rei blinked and then snort.

"Don't laugh!" Koan pouts and arms crossed embarrassed.

"You two know each other?" Rei looked back and forth with the pair. Sure, Koan meet well Error in his skeleton real form. A lot of times. Didn't expect the pair to meet face to face like this.

"I fix her hat when a tree ripped it."

"Gotcha."

"Koan hiya!" Usagi slides in and grinning. "How are you?"

"I'm doing well."

"Great! Oh I see you met my Mada!"

"Mada?"

"Yep."

"Nice name."

"Thanks! Want to come eat with us? Are those new products?"

"Um." Koan blinked and smile. "Sure why not and yes they are. Brought the cards too."

"Awesome! Hey Lita we got another eating with us!"

"Usagi slow down!" Rei chases after her.

"Sweet girls."

"They are." Glance at the hat. "Still like it?"

"I defiantly do." She smile at him.

"Happy?"

Koan blinked and look at him. Eyes widen slightly and smile. "One step at a time."

A lot happen in this chapters.

I do believe Koan was manipulated and abuse in certain ways with her supposed 'relationship' with Rubeus. Was he always like that at the beginning or did it start joining the Black Moon Clan. I can't say for sure but no excuse. But she did in a way love him. So, was really hurt and broken when she got kick out, along with her love thrown away.

Koan did put two and two together who Error and Kasumi is. Will, not say it till Error ready to say it. 

Chibiusa situation. Spoilers I guess if you ever watch/read the show or manga.

Now she knows that Usagi is Sailor Moon. So, she knows Sailor Moon is well her mother who had the silver crystal. Just doesn't want to believe that this teen is her mother. Since she so different than the stories the others will tell her about Sailor Moon. Yet, can't seem to figure out the other girls are the scouts and Darien Tuxedo Mask. Could be memory issue from going back in time. Who knows? But going to be a lot of surprises and such later on.
