Danielle's P.O.V

Sometimes, I regret planning revenge on the person I care about most. My mom; the woman who gave me life, is who I am talking about. Yes, she does annoy me to the point where I just want to throw a pillow in her mouth and she does make me special to the extent that I just want to stay with her forever but now, it's different.

She hasn't annoyed me nor has she made me feel special. The feeling is indescribable and the fact that I have no idea what this feeling feels like annoys me because I don't know how to get rid of it.

All I know is that once this plan is complete, that feeling will disappear forever and replace with pure satisfaction.

"Are you done?" I hear my mom ask from the front door. I send her a glare to hide the feelings going on inside my body and go back to washing her stupid windows.

"Make sure you get them to shine." My mom calls and the urge to throw the sponge at her hits me but I ignore it, realising that I am going to ruin the plan.

I look over at Cole who is pulling over the weeds and shoving them into a plastic bag which is later going to be emptied into the gardening bin. Cole looks at me and sends me a short grin and I return it, turning back to wash my mom's car.

The fact that I am actually cooperating with Cole confuses me. Like he said before, one minutes I hate him and the next I am talking to him and acting like I don't hate him at all. Well, you can't blame me. Living with a digusting boy who changes personalities in a matter of seconds can make someone like me flip out. What I am trying to say is that Cole is one confusing boy, just like me.

"Danielle, I think your done with that window so I don't know why you just keep cleaning it." I hear my mom say and I grit my teeth.

"Mom, I love you but please shut up." I say, trying to calm myself down as I start to clean the rest of the car. Ten minutes pass by and I am now finished cleaning the car. Finally.

I turn to see that Cole is putting the weeds into the bin and I wipe my hair out of my face, completely exhausted but happy that we are both finished.

Now we can work on the plan.

"Good job you two." Andrea says, sending us both one of her sickening smiles. I roll my eyes and push past the two women, making my way up to the bathroom to go pee.

"Where are you going?" I hear my mom asks and I stop walking and turn around, raising my eyebrows at her.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know I had to ask to use to bathroom." I say, glaring at my mom. My mom frowns and places her hands on her her hips.

"What are you going to do in there?" She asks and my mouth drops in confusion and shock.

Did that just come out of her mouth? Oh my god.

"I'm going to go slay a goddamn dragon, what else?" I ask sarcastically and my mom narrows her eyes at me.

"I wouldn't use sarcasm with me, Danielle." My mom scowls and I roll my eyes.

"Ask a stupid question, be prepared to get a stupid answer." I reply before turning around to go to the bathroom.

I still can't believe that came out of my own mother's mouth.

"She is asleep." Cole whispers to me after checking on his mom. I open the door to my mom's bedroom just a tiny bit and when I see my mom's sleeping figure sprawled across her bed, I close the door.

"Same with my mom." I whisper back and Cole nods. Before he walks downstairs to sort out the other half of the plan, he stops and sends me a small grin.

"Good luck, little miss bitch." Cole says and I roll my eyes.

"Get your STD infested body down those stairs before I push you down." I say and Cole rolls his eyes before making his way down the stairs. I walk into the bathroom and grab the bright pink hair dye and my mom's shampoo.

After emptying the shampoo, I open the pink hair dye and start to port it in carefully. When the whole bottle is filled with the dye, I put the cap back on and place it back on the shelve.

Let me just point something out. For those of you who love bright pink, I know your thinking 'why did she use such a great colour'? Well, my mom doesn't like pink. Not dark pink, not hot pink, not any kind of pink. She just doesn't like pink and that's why I chose pink. Some of you are probably asking yourself 'why do we have pink hair dye'? Okay, believe it or not, I considered dying my hair bright pink. Don't ask me why because I have no idea. I just thought of it but now, I decided to use it on my mother because who doesn't like a new change?

My mom.

I grab the chilli out of my pocket and place it on the sink, reaching into the cabinet for the toothpaste. Okay, call me a bitch but no one tells me that I need to calm down and decide that I need a boyfriend. No one. By the way, this isn't even apart of the plan. This is just my own little prank I have decided to pull on my mother.

I empty the toothpaste and wash it out, making sure that there is nothing in there and I grab the extra hot chilli, pouring it into the toothpaste container. Oh and this is the second hottest chilli sauce in the world so in the words of a sassy, smartass teen such as myself, 'good luck mother'.

I hear the door creak open and suddenly, I freeze. In a less than a second, Cole comes into my view and I let out a sigh of relief.

"What are you doing? This isn't a part of the plan." Cole whispers and I nod.

"I know that." I reply, tipping the rest of the chilli into the container. I put the lid back on the container and place it back in the cabinet. Hopefully she just pushes the fact that the toothpaste is red away from her mind. Well, knowing how naive she is, I think she will.

"So then why are you doing it?" Cole asks and I grab the chilli packet and the dye and walk out of the bathroom.

"Because no one tries to pair me up with a boy I hate and think that he will change me because he won't." I say and Cole rolls his eyes.

"I am just going to ignore that." Cole says and I nod, walking towards the stairs and into the kitchen, throwing the items in my hands into the bin. I turn to Cole and narrow my eyes at him.

"And what did you stick to the plan?" I ask and Cole looks around before landing his eyes on mine. Instantly, I knew that he didn't.

"Tell me what you did." I say, a small grin on my lips and Cole grabs a phone out of Andrea's bag. So, my mom has been talking to these guys like the player she is-"

"Runs in the family." I grin and Cole just rolls his eyes, continuing on with his revenge plan.

"Anyway, she has been talking to a few guys, Dan, Liam and George and since she likes Dan the most, I changed his name to Liam, the guy she has a small interest in and I changed my name to George and deleted George's number from her phone." Cole explains and I furrow my eyebrows at him.

"Why?" I ask, referring to the George thing and Cole sighs.

"I don't trust the guy. So, whatever she sends to him, goes to me and eventually when 'George' pushes my mom away, I'll change my name back to 'son'." Cole explains and I nod.

"Sneaky but thoughtful. It's good you are looking out for your mom. It's a shame you can't treat all the other girls you sleep with the same too." I smirk and Cole shakes his head, a small grin on his face.

"Back with the jealousy." Cole says and I roll my eyes.

"How many times do I have to tell you that I am not jealous?" I ask and Cole smirks.

"Don't need to tell me, just show me." Cole says and raise my eyebrow at him.

"How?" I ask and Cole smiles at me.

"Grab a guy by the end of the week and at least go on one date with him. If you bail, your jealous. If you succeed, your not. Simple." Cole explains and narrow my eyes at him.

"Is this a challenge?" I ask and Cole shakes his head.

"More like a bet, princess. Fifty dollars." Cole says, holding his hand out for me to shake and I smirk, grabbing his hand and shaking it with mine.

"Your on."
