Danielle's P.O.V

Rihanna blasts through the speakers and all of sudden, Maya and I being the drunk teenagers we are, start to swing our hips to the beat and sing the lyrics.

We have been dancing for the past half an hour now and many boys tried to get us into bed with pick up lines. Oh you don't know how many boys used the same pick up line over and over again.

My favourite one was when a short guy came up to me and said 'not everything about me is short'. I honestly laughed so much and when he got the picture that I clearly wasn't interested, he walked off towards another girl.

Suddenly, I see Cole making out with a girl on the counter and I let out a laugh. "Maya," I shout over the music and tap her shoulder. She turns around and looks at me questioningly and when I point over to Cole, a smirk appears on her lips.

"Do it." She mouths and I nod. I saunter over to where Cole is with a smirk on my face and since his back is facing me, I do the only think a drunk teenager would do.

I jump on his back.

"Cole, run around the house!" I scream, wrapping my arms around his neck. The girl let's go of Cole and glares at me before jumping off the counter and walking off. I wrap my legs around Cole's waist and rest my head on his shoulder.

"What the hell are you doing?" Cole asks, annoyance clear in his tone and I smile at him when he turns to look at me.

"I want a piggyback ride." I ask, the smug smile still on my lips and he groans.

"That girl was going to be mine tonight and you ruined it." Cole says and I pat his head.

"It's okay." I say, trying to hide my grin. Just as Cole is about to start walking around the house, I feel my head spin and all of sudden, my eyes slip shut as I feel myself go unconscious.

"Shut up, I didn't do shit to her!" I hear Cole yell and Maya let's out a scoff.

"Well that's bullshit because she didn't pass out when she was with me, did she?" Maya growls and I let out a sigh, opening my eyes.

"Would both of you shut up." I say, sitting up as I look at Cole and Maya glaring at each other. When they don't stop staring, I let out a cough and they both turn to me, their eyes going wide.

"Oh my god, your not dead." Maya says, walking over to me with a smile. Cole follows behind her and stands behind her, watching me curiously.

"Of course not. The devil isn't ready for me yet." I wink at Maya and she chuckles.

"Do you remember anything from last night?" Cole asks, totally ruining the mood. Just hearing his voice makes me wish I was dead. Well, I guess that's only because my hangover is being a bitch but yeah, whatever.

I let out a laugh and point at Cole. "I jumped on your back." I say and Cole rolls his eyes.

"Yeah, do you remember that you made me lose my chance of getting laid yesterday too or did you blank out and forget half the story?" Cole asks and this time, I roll my eyes.

"Shut up, I remember that obviously. That's why I jumped on your back in the first place." I say and Cole shrugs.

"Just asking." Cole says and I shake my head at him before looking at a confused Maya.

"Do you remember anything after that?" Maya asks and I shake my head.

"I fell asleep on Cole and yeah, that's it." I say and Cole let's out a chuckle.

"Oh you didn't fall asleep on me, you passed out." Cole says and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

"Why?"

"Well, I guessed that you had a little to much to drink but your friend over here thinks I drugged you so I could have sex with you." Cole says and I narrow my eyes at him.

"Did you drug me?" I ask, becoming a little angry. God, if he did, I am going to throw a bottle at his head and throw him in my garbage bin then wait for the garbage truck to pick him up then-

"Of course not." Cole says, shaking his head. Then, he looks up at me with a weird look in his eyes. "Although, I would love to drug you just to shut your bitchy mouth up." Cole says with a grin and I grit my teeth.

"And I would love to kick you out of my house but we all don't get what we want in life." I say in annoyance and when Cole goes to speak again, Maya pushes him away.

"Anyway, how are you feeling?" Maya asks and I shrug, turning my attention to her.

"I'm fine other than the massive hangover I'm having." I say and Maya chuckles.

"I have some aspirin in my car, I'll be back." Maya says and before leaving, she makes sure to send Cole one last glare before leaving.

"So, we are alone-"

"Shut up and explain to me where I am." I say and Cole rolls his eyes.

"We are in one of the spare bedrooms that the owner of the party happily let us borrow." Cole smirks and I frown at him.

"Why does that smirk tell me a different story?" I ask and Cole shrugs.

"Because you look into things that don't really matter." Cole replies and I glare at him.

"What did you do?" I ask and Cole smiles.

"Punched the owner because he basically told us several times that this room is reserved for whatever he had planned with a girl or something." Cole shrugs and I nod slowly.

"I never thought you would help me in my time of need." I say, getting off the bed but suddenly, my side hurts and I let out a groan.

"Fuck, what the hell happened while I passed out?" I ask and Cole shrugs.

"I don't know and I don't care." Cole says and I ignore the pain for a slight second as I get up and slap Cole in the face.

"Your such an asshole."

"Your such a-"

"Say bitch and I will end your chances of having kids." I say and Cole raises his hands up in surrender.

"Calm down." Cole says and I roll my eyes and hop back on the bed, resting my hand on my side.

When Maya comes back with a bottle of water and aspirin, I thank her before swallowing the tablets. After that, we decide to get out of here and by that I mean part ways as Maya goes back to her place while I got back to mine with that asshole.

Lucky me.

I walk into the house to see my mom and Andrea on the couch with popcorn while watching Mean Girls.

"That blonde one would probably be Sarah because goddamn, that girl was such a bitch in high school." Andrea says and my mom nods.

"I agree. That girl would absolutely do my head in." My mom says with a laugh. Andrea joins her and I walk over to the back of the couch and lean over, grabbing some popcorn. My mom turns to me with a frown.

"Your back." My mom says and I nod, chewing on the popcorn.

"Yep." I say, popping the 'p'.

"How was your night?" My mom asks and I shrug.

"Okay." I say, a little still angry with my mom about how she just decided that I should get out of the house and by doing that, she sends me with Cole to a party.

What kind of mom does that?

I walk over into my room and lay on my bed, trying to focus on something other than my killing hangover. Cole walks in seconds after and closes the door.

"I need sleep." Cole says and I nod.

"Same." I say and Cole lays down on his mattress of air, looking up at me. I frown at him in confusion as to why he is staring at me and he just nods to himself before turning over, his back facing me.

"Weird." I mumble, getting under the covers. I close my eyes and let my mind drift away as I start to fall asleep.
