"Hey hey hey! Uh uh we don't walk out without saying goodbye!" Bokuto called out.

Akaashi sighed and turned around. "Come here."

Bokuto walked over and held his face with both hands. He kissed the bridge of his nose. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Bokuto smiled. "Bye bye."

Akaashi's annoyance went away and he smiled. He stood on his tip toes and kissed Bokuto. He laughed. "I'll be back in like fifteen minutes. It's okay."

"Mm. Still. It's a rule."

"I know, I know. I love you. Now let me go pick up the cupcakes."

"Okay." Bokuto let go. Akaashi opened the door and walked out. "Hey!"

Akaashi looked up from the driver's seat.

"I love you!"

Akaashi smiled. Bokuto could see through the window that he said it back. He grinned. Bokuto went back inside and went to Emiko, who was giggling at the sound of a toy.

"Hey Emmy!"

"Daddy!"

"Hi sweetheart!" Bokuto hefted her up. "Guess what? Mommy's getting you something special. And Aunty Suga will be here soon."

"Suga!"

"Yep." Bokuto walked into the kitchen and got her bottle. "Today is gonna be lots and lots of fun."

He set her down and filled the bottle. Emiko stood up and found him again, holding his leg. "Up!"

"No Emmy. It's dangerous to hold you and pour. I could drop you on accident and Mama would be very mad and you'd get very hurt."

"Up! Up! Up!" Emiko started pulling on his leg, whining.

Bokuto sighed. "Emiko."

"Up!"

Bokuto waited a moment, closing the bottle. Emiko started crying. He tensed and hurried to close the bottle and pick her up. "Hey, hey, hey. It's okay Emmy. Everything is okay. I'm right here."

Emiko held onto him tight, sniffling.

"Someone's fussy today." He kissed her head. "Come on, let's go sit down."

Emiko leaned back and whined.

"Eh."

"Baaaa!"

Bokuto put her on his chest again. "Quit that silly."

Emiko giggled. "Ba! Ba!"

Bokuto lightly tossed her and caught her again. He went over to the couch and put her down before going to his room for his phone. As he unplugged it, he saw a box in the bag leaning against his desk. "Eh?"

He picked it up and froze. Why was there a pregnancy test in Akaashi's bag?

Bokuto put it back and went to Emiko again.

Emiko heard Bokuto and called out.

Bokuto sat next to her and pulled her into his lap, fixing her hair. Akaashi walked back in some time later, holding a white box. Sugawara walked in with him. "Hey Ko."

"Hey!" Bokuto got up and kissed his forehead.

Akaashi smiled. "Mm. You okay?"

"Yep. Hey Suga!"

Suga looked at him and smiled. "Hi! Lemme hold her!"

Bokuto gave Emiko over and took the box from Akaashi. He put it in the kitchen before taking Akaashi into their room. "Hey um… I have a question."

Akaashi nodded. "You okay?"

"Yeah I'm okay but I found something in your bag…" He pulled out the box.

"Oh."

"Are you pregnant?"

"I don't think so, no. I bought that for Sugawara because his scent changed. That's all." Akaashi kissed Bokuto's cheek. "Come on."

"Why'd you throw up yesterday morning?"

"I had a stomach bug Koutarou. If I was pregnant you'd know."

Bokuto huffed. "Okay."

After a few hours of eating cupcakes and playing with Emiko, celebrating her birthday Suga left and Akaashi set Emiko down for bed. Strangely, he was winded after carrying her.

Bokuto pulled him into bed and just held him.

"Are you okay?"

"Mhmm. I'm okay." Akaashi yawned. "I think she enjoyed all of that."

"I did too! There was a lot of sweet smells and stuff and everyone was happy."

Akaashi furrowed his brows. "I didn't smell anything very sweet?"

"That's weird."

"Mhmm." Akaashi closed his eyes. Bokuto eased a hand onto Akaashi's stomach. "Koutarou. I already told you, I'm not pregnant."

"I mean… it's possible? The condom broke during your last heat."

"Well I'll have my heat soon so hush."

"It's late by like four days."

"Oh my fucking…" Akaashi sat up. "Do you want me to take the test? Just to make you feel better?"

"Hey don't get snappy! It could happen!"

"Sure it could. I'll take it and prove you're wrong."

"If I'm wrong I'll do the laundry for a whole week without you."

"If you're right you can name it. Actually no not name it… um. You can announce it."

"Okay. Go take it then Mr. "I'm right so you need to shut up". Meanie."

Akaashi Got up and got the test.

Bokuto sat up in bed. "Why wouldn't I be allowed to name it?!"

"Because you named Emiko and you would name them something stupid!"

"That's mean!"

"Shut up so I can pee!"

"You can pee and talk at the same time! You do it all the time!"

"This is different shut up…" Akaashi went quiet for a moment. "Set a timer for two minutes!"

Bokuto set the timer. Akaashi came back and sat on the bed. Bokuto went to him and nuzzled his hair. "Just so you know I wouldn't name them something dumb."

"There's not a baby Ko. The test will come up as negative. It does all the time."

"Mm. Pessimist."

Akaashi held Bokuto's hand, going quiet.

"Timer's up."

"Alright." Akaashi got up and got it out of the bathroom, not daring to turn it over unless Bokuto saw it. "Ready to be proven wrong?"

"Mm." Bokuto sat up and patted the bed next to him.

Akaashi sat down and turned it over. Both stared at the test.

"So… guess we need to remove the bed from the extra room?" Akaashi looked at Bokuto. "A-ah why are you crying? This is good!"

Akaashi kept crying, not upset but shocked. "I-I didn't think- think that I was… do we even have money?"

"We do have money. It's okay. I promise."

"S-sorry… I'm just worried…"

"It's okay. We can get another test just to check."

"Okay…"

"Here, come lay back down." Bokuto eased him back under the blankets. "I have good names, just so you know."

"Hush." Akaashi wrapped around him. "You'll name them tire or something."

"Pfft. No. If it's another girl… then I'd name her Anka or Kaiyo. A boy… Kazue or Takibi."

"Those are beautiful names…" Akaashi looked up.

"Well when you were pregnant with Emmy I decided to look up tons of lists and a few names stuck with me. So yeah... Well three out of four of those. Takibi is actually what I was going to be named."

"I like that name too… hm."

Bokuto nuzzled his hair. "Mm. Well. You should get some rest."

Akaashi kissed his cheek. "I love you."

"Hehehe… I love you too." Bokuto rubbed his hair. "You're so cute I swear…"

Akaashi smiled. "I hope we get to keep this one too…"

"Me too." Bokuto yawned. "Passing out now."

"Mkay." Akaashi closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"MAMAAAAA!"
