It had been almost a week since Megatron became a sparkling. The cons tried to please him, but he never seemed satisfied. He was constantly yelling at them and kicking them. They of course had to do what he asked, unless they wanted to get shot.

Starscream walked down the hall and narrowed his optics as he clasped his servos behind him. He stopped suddenly as he heard yelling and screaming. He peeked around the corner and saw Megatron kicking a con. He was upset that the con didn't give him the energon he wanted.

The seeker narrowed his optics and walked away to the medical area. He heard Megatron shoot the con because he wouldn't corporate. Starscream sighed in exasperation and went in the room. Knockout was working on a con that got shot because he didn't play with the sparkling. Starscream watched quietly and waited until the vehicon was repaired and had left. The medic sighed forcefully and put things away as he grumbled.

"Megatron is worse than he was as a full grown Cybertronian." Starscream muttered and glared at the wall.

"My paint hasn't had this many issues in such a short amount of time." The medic grumbled and grabbed his buffer. Starscream thought for a few minutes then smiled wickedly.

"I'm such a fool for not thinking about this sooner." He chuckled darkly. Knockout looked at him and raised an optic ridge.

"Care to share with the class?" He asked sarcastically as he worked. The seeker glared at him then looked around for unwanted listeners.

"Why is he still here?" He asked as he walked over.

"Because he's our leader." Knockout muttered as if his question was stupid.

"Thats not what I meant." He snapped angrily and glared at him.

"Please do tell the class what you meant." The red con said sarcastically and the seeker growled in annoyance.

"We need to take advantage of this situation, and rid ourselves of Megatron once and for all." He muttered. "It'll be easier and I know exactly how to do it." He said seriously.

"Ah. Then you'll be leader of the Decepticons and I'll be second in command." He said as he smiled smugly.

"Hm... yes well." Starscream muttered and walked to the door for a moment. "Just wait for my signal and let me take care of things." He said seriously and walked away. He smiled wickedly as he walked down the hall and clasped his servos behind him. This would be easy, though he wondered why he hadn't thought about it earlier.

"Stawcweam!" He turned around to see a little aircraft flying towards him. He furrowed his optic ridges in confusion and the little craft flew around his helm.

"Wace! Wace! Wace!" The sparkling yelled as he flew around. Starscream sighed in exasperation and rubbed his faceplate.

"Lord Megatron... I'm not in the mood to play your games." He muttered. The aircraft stopped and transformed into his biped mode. He looked at him and glared darkly as he clenched his servos tightly.

"What?" He growled angrily almost sounding like his old self. This startled the seeker and he stepped back.

"You don't want to play with me?" He seethed angrily through gritted teeth.

"I-I-I didn't say that." He stuttered and watched him carefully.

"Yes you did!" He yelled angrily and stomped on his ped. "Pway with me now!" He screamed. Starscream sighed in exasperation and looked at him.

"A race then?" He asked tiredly and the sparkling kicked his leg then turned into his alternate mode. The seeker transformed into his alternate mode and got ready.

"Readysetgo!" Megatron shouted and took off in a flash. Starscream blinked in surprise and flew after him. He quickly passed him and chuckled darkly. Megatron growled angrily and shot at the seeker.

"AAAAHH!! That's cheating!" Starscream screeched as he hit the wall. The sparkling laughed maniacally and easily passed him.

"Is not!" He shouted and flew around as the seeker growled angrily and flew after him.

"So be it." He sneered and shot at the little warlord. The sparkling suddenly got scared as the seeker shot at him and laughed maniacally.

"Nu stop!" The sparkling yelled as he tried to dodge the blasts.

"Ha ha ha!" He laughed maniacally and continued to chase him as he shot. "A taste of your own medicine!" He sneered and fired at him.

Megatron cried and flew around a corner really fast. He saw someone walking down the hall. He transformed into his biped mode then dropped down to the ground. He ran as fast as he could as he cried.

"Swndwa!" He shouted and the communication specialist looked up at him. The sparkling stumbled and tripped as the seeker zoomed around the corner.

Starscream shot at the little warlord, the blast shot by his peds and he screamed as he went flying. The seeker transformed into his biped mode and laughed darkly as he walked over to him.

"Not so fun is it. Master." He spat and glared darkly. The sparkling looked up at him with fear and whimpered as tears fell down his faceplate.

"Oh don't cry, Lord Megatron." He sneered. "What will the other cons think of you if they saw your tears?" He mocked and clenched his servos then raised one.

He cried out as he was suddenly smacked away. Soundwave stood in front of the sparkling protectively and clenched his servos tightly. The two cons stared at each other and the seeker slowly got up.

"My... apologies." Starscream muttered and bowed mockingly as he sneered. He watched them and walked off down the hall.

Soundwave tightened his servos and waited for a moment before crouching by the sparkling. Megatron looked up at him and sniffed sadly as the con examined his injuries. The sparkling whimpered fearfully when he was done. He hesitated and hugged him tightly around the neck cables.

"I'm scared." He whispered quietly. Soundwave just stayed there as he blinked in surprise. He knew his master wasn't in his right mind set, and wasn't sure what to do when he acted like... well a sparkling.

Soundwave looked around but didn't see anyone else. He had to protect his master from the others schemes. He carefully stood up and walked to the medical area. Megatron ran after him and held his servo. The communication specialist stopped suddenly and looked at him. He let him hold his servo then took him to be repaired.

Two days later Starscream was putting together a group of cons to go to an energon mine. Soundwave had located it and told him to scout it out. Megatron ran in and asked to go with them. They said no and he glared darkly.

"I wanna go! I wanna go!" He screamed and kicked the cons legs. "I'm da weadew! I get da go!" He shouted. Knockout was going with, and the two cons looked at each other. This could be their opportunity.

"Lord Megatron... we can't have you go. It's too dangerous." Knockout said seriously. The sparkling glared and kicked his leg repeatedly as he screamed and yelled angrily.

"You can't ell me wha da do!" He screamed as he kicked him and stomped on his ped.

"Ow!" The con yelped and jumped away, the little warlord then kicked Starscream's leg repeatedly.

"You nawt da boss!" He yelled. "I am! I am da boss!" He shouted.

"I didn't say you couldn't go!" The seeker said as he looked at Soundwave. The communication specialist had his back to them as he typed.

"Onwy Swndwa can ell me wha da do!" He screamed and stomped on his ped.

"Ouch! Okay we get it! You're going!" Starscream hissed angrily and the sparkling stopped. He spit at them then marched through the portal, with his helm held high as he led his men.

"Bratty sparkling." Knockout mumbled as he limped after them.

Once through Megatron stood on a rock and yelled at everyone as he bossed them around. Starscream and Knockout disappeared into the cave and found a room in the depths of it. Starscream pulled out a shard of dark energon, and wedged it into a crack in the wall. He made sure it was stuck and smiled wickedly.

"That should do it." He sneered and they walked back to the sparkling.

"Lord Megatron, we have found something you might want to look at." Knockout muttered as he bowed.

"What?" He spat as he folded his arms and glared darkly.

"We have found a possible vein of dark energon." He purred and bowed a little. The sparkling stared at them and his optics widened.

"Dawk enewgon...." he mumbled and looked around. Soundwave still wouldn't let him have it and kept it locked away.

"Whewe!?" He yelled and they led him into the cave. They stood at the entrance of the room and watched him carefully.

"Over there." Starscream muttered as he pointed at the small shard. The sparkling ran to it and tried to pull it out. He looked at them and glared darkly.

"Out! It's mine!" He shouted and growled threateningly.

"Of course. Master." Starscream sneered and the two went back out of the cave. He chuckled darkly as they looked around the area. They heard fighting in the distance and he laughed quietly.

"Perfect timing." The seeker smiled wickedly as he saw their enemy.

"As usual." Knockout muttered and smirked as he went to attack them.

They fought the bots for a while to make it look convincing then called for a bridge and headed back. Soundwave walked over and looked at the cons as they came through. Starscream panted heavily and ordered for the bridge to be shut down. Soundwave watched then scanned for Megatron. He clenched his servos tightly when he didn't see him. He walked over to the other two and stared them down.

"What?" Knockout asked as he looked at him. Soundwave pointed to the little throne. "Oh... well I'm not sure." He shrugged. He stood up taller and loomed over him as his anger grew.

"The Autobots attacked us." Starscream said seriously as he walked over. "We don't know what happened while we fought. He could have run off." He said. Soundwave walked over to him and angrily pointed at the throne again.

"Oops." Starscream sneered as he shrugged slightly. "Just continue on I suppose." He muttered. Soundwave clenched his servos tightly and electrocuted the seeker.
