Natsu's P. O. V
I had seen some weird things in my life, but so far this one took the cake. My best friend a child and curled up in my arms, a bunch of weird pitch black monsters with red glowing eyes saying "kill Lucy Heartfilia", and the recent arrival of a man wearing a shirt that said "blood is thicker than water, but maple syrup is thicker than blood, so technically pancakes are more important than family".

"It seems that the seal is fading, well this is bad" he said, his voice laced with some weird accent. He turned to look at me, his eyes widening as he noticed Lucy in my arms. "Who are you, and what are you doing with her highness?" He asked. "Natsu Dragneel, and I'm warning you, don't try to make me mad." I said. "Half of that was completely irreverent to my questions, though I must say that it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Sir Natsu Dragneel. Now I shall one more time, what are you doing with her highness?" He asked.

"If you're talking about Lucy she's my best friend" I said, and my crush I added in my head. "Oh" he said, clearly surprised. Suddenly he shot his hand out and all around us the pitch black monsters with the glowing red eyes disappeared. Soft snores caught my attention, and I couldn't hold back my smile as I looked down at the now sleeping girl.

"Who are you?" I asked. But he was already gone, the only things remaining as proof that he had been here, the sweet smell of maple syrup and a small wrapped parcel. Leaning over I picked it up, and of course it was for Lucy. The wind whispered around me " keep her safe at all costs".

Lisanna's P. O. V
When I opened my eyes blinding whiteness was what welcomed me, followed by cold darkness. And out of that darkness stepped out a man.

"Lisanna Strauss I presume" he said, and I swear it was the most evil thing I had ever heard. "Who are you?" I asked, "the man who can make your dreams and nightmares come true" he answered, leaving me with only more questions.

"Let me rephrase that, what is your name?" I asked, "Zeref" was all he said, and honestly that one word answer scared me. "Let's make a deal" he said, and my curiosity was instantly triggered.

"What type of a deal?" I asked, interested. "You kill Lucy Heartfilia for me, and I'll make sure that Natsu Dragneel becomes yours." He said.

I stuck out my hand and he shook it , "deal".
