"Little life but what does it mean"?

"Does life mean little or more cruel".

"Has anyone faced this situation"?

"Did god did fair to them".

Life wasn't easy for them but they accepted it.. who said life is always remains of happiness, love, care, joyful or whatever they expect but not every everyone is lucky to face Same situation.. life can never be perfect but it's true life can be cruel to you.. this is what has happened to Avneil who faced this problem a month ago.

Avni was sitting in dark room but her gaze was fixed with a beautiful photo frame of her daughter.. she couldn't move her gaze from photo when someone walked inside the room turning the late.. Avni didn't turned because she was still in her own world..

" mumma why have you turned the lights off" a little girl age years old voice echoed to Avni's ear but did Avni hear it.. off course she didn't.. why would she listen to voice when her Own her eyes and ears betrayed her..

The little walked behind her mother and hugged her tightly and starts hugging. Avni got startled with sudden hug and wiped her tears and turned to hug her daughter..

Avni : why.. is my baby crying?

Avni said breaking hug and wiping her daughters tears.. the little girl looked at Avni then rubbed her nose. Avni smiled but seeing her action..

Girl : because.... mamma... is crying..

Avni : who said mamma was crying?

Girl : I saw you... crying... .. why are you crying mamma... did I do something wrong... mamma don't t cry.. look if i did something wrong then scold me or hit me but don't cry.. I don't like your tears..

Avni : I wasn't crying baby... something went in my eyes..

Girl : really... no worries I remove it..

She cupped Avni's face and blowed airs into avni's eyes. Avni smiled in tears..

Avni : I'm fine baby..

Girl : mamma I came to ask you something..

Avni : you don't need my permission baby. Ask what you want to know?

Girl : mamma can we visit papa office.. today.. pretty please...

Avni : baby but papa won't be free today..

Girl : mamma please., I want to see papa today.. it's his birthday today.. it's his first birthday where I didn't wished him.. please mamma..

Avni : we will go to papa office in afternoon till we will bake cake for him..

Girl : okay! Let's go..

Avni : baby you go ahead I'll come after washing my face..

Girl : come soon mamma!

Avni nods.. little bundle happiness of Avneil left the room.. Avni went to washroom and splashed cold water on her face fourth times... she splashed more water so her eye and face doesn't seem red and swollen..

Avni looked herself in mirrors. Avni took towel and wiped her face.. she walked inside her room and saw Neil's and her daughter picture she smiled looking at them.. she kept the towel on bed and walked downstairs..

She was one last stairs when her eye fell on her her little cute daughter who was mixing something in bowl and Bebe and Swetha were admiring her.. Avni moved to them and called her name..

Avni : nurvi baby you leave it.. I'll make it..

Hearing mamma voice nurvi. looked up and gave smile to Avni..

Nurvi : no mamma I want to make it.. you help me..

Avni : baby you need to get ready too.. mamma will make it.. you go with Bebe and get ready..

Nurvi looked at Bebe who nodded and then thought something to herself..

Nurvi: okay mamma but wait for me to decorate the cake..

Avni smiled.

Avni : I'll baby! Go now and come soon.

Nurvi smiled and went with Bebe to get ready while Avni smiled at Swetha and took the bowl and starts mixing the mixture..

Avni : mummy ji I'll manage it.. you also get ready.

Swetha nods and moved to her room. Avni kept the mixture in baking try and kept in oven. Keeping the cake in oven she started cleaning the mess when nurvi came down fully read in pick frock..

Nurvi : mamma how am I looking..

Nurvi twirled herself showing Avni her dress.. Avni left everything and picked nurvi in her arms and kissed her check.

Avni : my baby is most beautiful.. you look like princess..

Nurvi : papa princess... oh that's reminds me.. Is cake ready..

Avni : soon it will be... while cake is baking why don't you have your breakfast..

Nurvi : no mamma... I'll eat with papa today..

Avni : but baby we going to meet papa in afternoon.. and you know papa or me can't keep ours baby hungry for so long..

Nurvi : mamma I'm big girl now so I will stay hungry... please only for today..

Avni : okay but don't come to me when papa scolds you knowing you skipped your breakfast..

Nurvi: promise I won't!

Avni puts nurvi down and Asked her to sit in hall till Avni checks the cake.. Avni took the gloves and took the cake out and saw cake was made.. she kept the cake try on the kitchen Slab and called nurvi..

Nurvi was sitting in hall and was talking to he teddy and hugging which was gifted by Neil.. she kept the teddy and Ran to kitchen as she heard Avni voice..

She stopped at kitchen door and pants herself.. Avni turned and looked at her..

Avni : couldn't you walk to kitchen instead of running.. its not marathon racing..

Nurvi laughed and stood beside Avni and looked at the cake..

Nurvi: it's looks so yummy.. I can't wait to have it..

Avni : shall we decorate this...

Nurvi : yes.. papa will love it..

Avni : he will as his princess made it..

Nurvi smiled then Avni and nurvi starts decorating the cake.. almost after Half an Hour both kept the icing cone down and looked at each Other then at the cake..

Nurvi : mamma it's so perfect..

Avni : let me pack this in box till you rush inside mamma rooms and get my baby along with my phone and home keys..

Nurvi nodded and left the kitchen.. Avni packed the cake and cleaned the kitchen.. she washed her hands and walked out of the kitchen..

As she came out of kitchen she saw Bebe and nurvi coming on stairs and smiling at each other. She smiled seeing them..

Nurvi passed Avni bags and phone to Avni..

Avni : Bebe we are going to Neil office.. would like to join us..

Bebe : no beta.. me and Swetha are going to visit temple today so you go visit Neil..

Avni : okay Bebe.. we will be back at night.. we may go out after Neil office..

Bebe : okay!

Avni and nurvi bids Bebe.. Avni made nurvi sit in car and tied her seatbelt then settled in driver seat and starts driving..

While driving music was playing and nurvi and Avni had good Their match up time.. Avni parked the car front of Neil's office.. nurvi took the seatbelt off and ran inside the office.. Avni tried stopping her but she faster than Avni..

Nurvi ran inside the office corridors when staffs noticed her and gave smile to her but she was busy looking at her papa only.. she stood front the cabin and pushed with her all strength and the Cabin is empty..

Seeing no one she made crying face when someone tapped her shoulder.. she looked back and saw Avni standing there.. Avni wiped her tears and bend down to nurvi height..

Avni : why this gloomy face? Papa must be in meeting..

Nurvi : I wanted to surprise him but he isn't here...

Avni : Baby we still can surprise papa..

Nurvi : how?

Avni : first let's go inside then I'll explain you..

Nurvi nods.. Avni along with Nurvi went inside Neil's cabin.. Avni placed her bag and cake box on the desk and Avni took her phone and messaged someone to come..

Soon a person walked inside and looked at Avni and nurvi.. Nurvi smiled seeing the person..

Nurvi : hello boyfriend!

Person : hey my pretty girlfriend!

Avni : can you both your greeting and I have called you for something else not flirt with my daughter..

Person : well what could I do when there is beautiful girl front of me.. I can flirt with you too but your possessive husband won't allow me..

Avni : shut up and Listen to me..

Avni explained the plan.. the person nodded and went out..

Avni was smiling herself when door opened.. someone walked inside the and saw Avni smiling herself... seeing her like that his heart broke.. he composed himself and stood behind her and bent down and kept his hands on hers.. she tuned and got shocked to see Neil...

Avni : what are you doing here... you are not meant be here.... you will ruined my and nurvi surprise...

Neil looked at her then his eye fell on photo behind her... tears slipped from his eyes seeing his own princess picture.. Neil cupped Avni face..

Neil : Avni ... what surprise you talking about? Avni what did I ruin...

Avni looked at Neil then at nurvi who was only visible to Avni...

Avni : Neil please go... see baby papa ruined our surprise... baby tell your papa to leave..

Neil watched all this.. his heart was breaking every moments seeing her like this since a months... life was unpredictable for them.. their happiness was taken away from them last month... Neil again cupped Avni face...

Neil : Avni... see I'm here.. I can't see you like this..

Avni : what you saying... nothing happened to me.. you go out.. baby tell papa to go.. he will listen to you..

She said removing Neil's hand and cupping nurvi face who was only smiling at Avni.. Avni cupped Nurvi face ..

Avni : baby say something.......

Neil couldn't hold himself and pulled Avni in tight hug... Avni was in his arms but she was watching her baby who was smiling at her..

Avni : Neil see nurvi sis only smiling.,, please tell her to speak to me.... please.... Neil..baby don't you talk to mamma...

Neil tightened his grip on hers and also pressed his own lips to control his tears front her.. he can't break front he when she needed him the most.. Avni was hugging him tightly and smiling at nurvi who was smiling too..

Avni : Neil leave me... we need to plan birthday surprise for you.. Baby is waiting too.. don't you get enough hugging me...

Neil : Avni.... come in to your sense...

Avni : Neil stop joking... nurvi is waiting to wish you... come now move from me... Neil... nurvi..

Neil : Avni let me hold you.....

Avni : nurvi... is waiting....

Neil Was losing himself how to explain there is no nurvi, no celebration of his birthday, no surprise. How can he explain her... Avni was only Chanting nurvi names when she lost her conscious and fell in his arms.. Neil knew this would happen... this is regular things happen to her since a month now.. it has been a month since their smile faded away...

Neil picked Avni carefully and made her lie down bed and covered her with duvet.. he sat beside her and caressed her hair.. while caressing her hair he went last month horrible day flashback back..

Flashback!

Everything was fine In Avneil's life.. nurvi was their life.. both loved nurvi more then any things..

Everything was fine but who knew stormed will come in Avneil's life..

One fine morning day Avni was still sleeping while Neil was awake and was making nurvi get ready to school.. he made her hair in ponytail.. Neil gave peck her on forehead and
Put her down from bed then made her wear school shoes..

Neil : doll I'll drop you  today to school..

Nurvi : after so long you will drop
Me to school..

Neil : come on quickly give mamma kiss then we'll leave..

Nurvi nods and climbed on bed and gave kissed Avni cheek. Neil smiled seeing nurvi.. nurvi got down and held Neil's hand.. Neil took nurvi in his arms and in other hand he took her school and and walked downstairs...

After dropping nurvi to school Neil came back to home and saw Avni still sleeping.. he moved to her and kissed her forehead and went to have shower..

Neil was in shower when Avni moved her arms.. she immediately opened her eyes and saw both side of her bed is empty when she heard shower sound.. she thought maybe Neil is shower but then her eye fell on clock..

Avni : nurvi..

She took nurvi name at same time Neil came out wiping his hair.. Neil looked at her..

Neil : good morning!

Avni : good morning.. nurvi?

Neil : I dropped her to school.. you fresh up..

Avni nods and went to washroom taking her Clothes..

Almost in afternoon Avni was in kitchen with Bebe and Swetha.. Neil and Prakash was at office... Avni was boiling milk to make something sweet dish.. Avni felt restless when her hands slowly went to hot pan... she didn't realise where are hands was.. she was lost herself and picked up the pan... as she picked it... the hot pan fell on the floor causing her come out thoughts and all the hot milk fell on her hands.. Bebe hearing sound rushed to Avni and  took Avni hand and placed in tap and turned the cold water on.. swetha  cleaning the floor..

Bebe : Avni where are you lost?

Avni : Bebe I feeling something will happen bad..

Bebe : nothing will happen., you leave all this.. go and take some rest..

Avni nods and goes to her room when her phone rang... she frowned seeing Number from School. Avni opened her bedroom door while keeping the phone near ears..

Avni : hello!

Caller : good afternoon mrs Khanna.. I'm speaking from nurvi school.. could you please immediately come to school with mr Khanna..

Avni : ma'am is nurvi fine..

Caller : she is unconscious now.. she fainted during her playtime. Could you please make it fast..

Avni : I'll be there..

Avni rushed out of room and sat in the car.. while on the way she called Neil and Informed him to come school..

Avni drove fast as she could and reached to school... Principle was waiting for Avni.. and took Avni to sick bay where nurvi was lying unconscious.. Avni immediately ran to nurvi and kept her hands on nurvi forehead..

Avni caressed nurvi's head and looked at the principle..

Avni : how did she fainted?

Principle : we don't know but one student saw her lying down near the toilet area.. nurse checked her.. she said she will be up by anytime...

Avni : could you please leave us alone..

Principe nods and leaves..

Late At night time nurvi was sleeping hugging Neil waist.. while Avneil were wide awake thinking about nurvi sudden fainting.. Avni looked at Neil who was lost..

Avni : Neil..

Neil looked at her..

Avni : nothing will happen to nurvi ! Right!

Neil  held her hands.

Neil : nothing will happen to our baby! She will be fine.. sleep now..

Avni nods but sleep was far away from them. However the night passed. Next morning Neil and Avni with nurvi went to hospital.

Doctor was checking nurvi while Neil and Avni were sitting in doctor cabin.. both were tensed for their Princess..

After half an hour doctor comes with Nurvi to his cabin and saw Avneil being worried..

Doctor : mr and Mrs Khanna!

Avneil looked up hearing doctor.. soon as Avni eyes met nurvi.. she ran to nurvi and pulled her in tight hug. Neil looked at doctor but doctor with his eye said will tell later.. Neil nodded.. Neil walked to Avni.

Neil : Avni you take nurvi out with you.. I need to speak to doctor..

Avni : Neil...

Neil : I will handle.. you go!

Avni nods and takes nurvi out.. Neil looked at doctor..

Doctor: let's sit then we'll talk.

Neil nods and both took sit.. doctor looked took nurvi file in his hand and looked at Neil..

Doctor : mr Khanna did anyone in your family has long-term illness..

Neil : no doctor.. what has happened with Nurvi..why did she fainted..

Doctor : are sure no had any type this diagnose.. I mean not even your grandparents.. see this is very common nowadays.. children can be inherited disease from their parents  or grandparents... I'm afraid to say but Nurvi is not perfectly fine..

Neil was shocked hearing nurvi was not fine and had feared hearing diseases word..

Neil : doctor... what happened to her....

Doctor : mr Khanna I'm sorry to say but she diagnosed with cancer ... we need to admit her soon as possible... as no one noticed this due to this she is in last stage.. her cancer cells are increased... she hasn't got much time left... this is very common for young children too.. she fainted as her body is getting weak.. and she is only 5 years which she can't handle all this.. I will suggest you to have word with your wife and admit Nurvi into hospital soon..

Neil sat there being all Numb... he couldn't believe his little baby has cancer... not even his life thought his princess will die because of cancer... he was lost in his thoughts when he left Tiny and soft hands on him.. he closed his eyes then opened to see nurvi trying to sit on his lap.. he picked her up and made her sit in his lap and pecked her forehead.. his lip stayed there longer than normally days..

Flashbacks ends.

Neil looked at Avni who was peacefully sleeping now.. Neil got up from bed and walked to corner where it's only filled with pictures with Nurvi... he slummed down and held on of photo of him and Nurvi.. in this picture he was kissing nurvi cheek and she was smiling carefree... he caressed her face...

Neil : I miss you princess...

He left his tears flows..

It has been month since nurvi Passed away.. she passed away leaving them in pain only.. Avneil since Nurvi passed away don't even spoke to each other or Didn't show their feelings.. Neil has seen Avni imaging nurvi everyday... he breaks seeing her loving photo frame of Nurvi... Avni has lost in her Sense.. she always imagine nurvi being with her.. nurvi death affected Avni a lot..
