"This is taking forever!" You complained.

"I said that there was still a Mormora base left but I never said that it was close by." You groaned in annoyance hearing Kolivan on the communicator.

"Come on, Y/n, just put some on music or something," Keith suggested taking over the video call.

"I left my music in that orange square communicator thing."

"And where is it?"

"On the ship." You both stayed silent for a while. "I'll just take a nap or something, see you in a while Keith." He waved goodbye and you turned off the holo-screen.

You stretched your arms in the air and turned your chair to see the three other Mormorans that were riding with you, Kolivan and the other two were with Keith.

You were about to ask them something but you noticed that they were asleep except for one of them.

"So, what's your name?" He lifted his head up, still a bit intimidated by you.

"Zhix." He answered. You nodded your head.

"Well Zhix, I suggest you get some rest, we've still got a long way." You said and turned in your chair to look back at the empty void of space in front of you.

"I can't." He said.

"Why not?" You asked still looking at the stars that dotted the universe.

"Nightmares." He answered simply.

"Yeah, I used to have those too." You stood up and walked over to him and lent him your hand. "Sleep on the chair, it doesn't just heal, It helps brainwave activity so it could help you sleep better." Zhix was utterly confused to say the least and slowly took your hand for you to help him stand.

"Why are you so kind?" He questioned being so used to the saying kill or be killed and there wasn't any room for hospitality nor generosity.

"We're gonna be working together." You lead him to the chair and let him sit down. You activated the sensor stabilizer and made the chair recline. "I need you in top shape to be able to fight." You said honestly.

Zhix could feel the chair starting to do it's magic, making him finally feel at ease. "Thank you." He said as he started to doze off.

"No prob, I guess this is also a 'Thank you' for doing what you could to help me out back then." He was about to respond but he was fell asleep before he could, your face being the last thing he sees before falling into a deep slumber.

"Great, now I'm gonna have to sleep on the floor."

"Hey, Zhix, come on, we're about to land." You tried to stir him awake but he wouldn't wake up.

Oh no, he's dead.

Was the first thing that came to mind.

"Zhix!" You shouted making him jolt up from the scare you just gave him making him slam his forehead against you.

"Ah shit!" You held your forehead in pain.

"Lady Y/n! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to!" He wanted to help you but he had his own headaches.

"Hey Y/n how are you doing?" You could see Keith appear on the holo-screen.

"Just dandy." You said as you stood up and held your hand to your forehead. Keith looked at you with an eyebrow raised but decided to ask you about what happened later. "Everyone's up, I'll take us down in a few minutes." Zhix took that as his cue to get out of the chair so you can sit down.

You and Keith both landed safely and you were the first to head inside, ready with battle plans in mind.

"Lady Y/n, I'm glad to see you're doing well." One of your old friends was still there thankfully. "No need for formalities Tixyan. Shall we talk about strategy?" You were happy to see that he was the one still on your side knowing he was one of your master strategists.

"Of course." He sent a smile your way and you noticed Keith just arrived.

"Let's go, you're helping us out too." You took his hand and dragged him along with you and Tixyan.

"So where do we begin?" You asked seeing that there were other Mormorans there fixing or upgrading some of the tec they had.

"I think you should-"

"Surprise!" You jumped back when Lance all of a sudden appeared from around the corner.

"Lance?!" You and Keith exclaimed simultaneously.

"You idiot!" Pidge Came into the picture and smacked Lance upside the head. "You were supposed to wait!"

"You ruined it man." Added hunk, also appearing.

"Guys!" You didn't care about their little argument, you were just happy to see that they were alive. "What are you guys doing here? What happened?!" You took the chance to tackle them to the ground in a giant hug from excitement.

"I'm so glad you're all here." You mumbled. "So tell me how you're all alive!"

"Well," Allura began as she took a seat at the center table. "We were ambushed and they took hold of the castle so we had to abandon it with only the black Lion. We immediately contacted the nearest Mormora base to call for help and that's how we ended up here."

"Wait does that mean that the ship is still in one piece?"

"We don't know for sure." Lance answered clearly sad about that fact.

"I'm just glad you're all okay." You sent a smile their way but happy time was over, it was time to get back into combat mode. "All right, now that we're all back together, first things first." You slammed your fist on the table catching everyone's attention. 

"We're getting our fucking lions back."

"Could you watch the language Y/n?"

"Way to kill the mood Space dad." You muttered and slumped in your chair. "Alright Tixyan you're up." Keith sat next to you and patted your head seeing you were still sour.

"First and foremost, welcome Paladins." He bowed in respect and then proceeded in pulling up a large holo-screen. "Now, from what Shiro has told us, the Black lion was able to pick up a general location as to where they're keeping the lions." He spread his arms wide to focus on the first target. "Thankfully the Blue, Yellow, and Green lions are all on the same plant but well guarded."

"Is it far from here?" You asked with an eyebrow raised.

"It's about 3 Quintants."

"Looks like we've still got a bit of time to make some repairs." You added but then motioned your hands letting him continue.

"And from what we have also searched so far, that planet seems to have a strange atmosphere, we're still running some tests as to how we can penetrate it without completely crashing and dying in the process." 

"We can help out with that!" Pidge lifted her hand along with Hunks. 

"I'll see what other kinds of intel I can get from my lion." Added Shiro.

"And I'll help out any of the other Mormorans here." Lance threw some finger guns to reduce the tension in the room.

"And that means Keith you'll be helping me keep things in order and train these assistants to be warriors." You looked at the others that were standing on the sidelines with determination and they gave you a salute.

"Perfect." Kolivan stepped into the conversation. "We all have an important task, three Quintants from now we'll have the Lions back in our positions." Hearing him gave you hope, it made you think that you were all still in the game and that you all still had a chance of winning.

"Let's go everyone!" You shouted and everyone stood up to instantly start their tasks. "As for you three, you'll be the first ones to train with us." You motioned them to follow you. 

"You're pretty enthusiastic about all this." Keith spoke up as he caught up to you, taking your hand in his.

"Of course I am. With you by my side why wouldn't I?" You just loved seeing Keith get all flustered hearing you say something so cheesy.

"Alright everyone let's start off with a small run!" You rushed towards the training ground and watched as Keith was still kinda shocked. "Come on mullet head you'll never get any better just standing around!" He snapped back to his senses hearing your comment.

"Even as your girlfriend she's got no mercy." Lance popped in not letting a chance to bother Keith slip by.

"Shut it!" Was all he could think of saying as he sprinted down the hall's to catch up. As he made his way over to you, he couldn't help but let a smile grow on his face.
