"We're in position." Matt said through his communicator.

"Blade?" You asked.

"We are ready." Kolivan's steady voice could be heard.

"Castle? Voltron?"

"Everything's a go over here." Answered Coran.

"So is Voltron." Confirmed Shiro.

"Alright, everyone stay alert." You said as you watched Lotor's ship land. "Rex are you ready?" You focused your vision on the person behind a large bolder who had a Sniper rifle in his hands. He loaded the tranquilizer in the rifle and positioned it in one of the small holes that they carved into the rock beforehand.

"Ready Y/n." He answered in a somewhat shaky voice. Nervous couldn't even begin to explain how he felt at that moment, the whole plan depended on this one shot.

"Okay, wait until he's in position and then go for it." You ordered. Your hands gripped the handles of the White Lion tighter as the seconds passed.

"He's in my line of sight." Rex locked and loaded and steadied his breathing as he tried his best to aim at Lotor's neck. He hovered his index finger over the trigger and,

"What do we have here?" A female voice was heard right before Rex was grabbed by his right ankle and lifted in the air effortlessly letting the gun fall with a clatter.

"No!" You yelled out slammed a fist on your controls in anger seeing that he was found out.

"Hum, you look like one of those rebel fighters." The girl looked at him with curious eyes. The various colors on her skin catching his attention.

"Ezor what are you-" Another female voice was heard.

"Look what I found Acxa!" The girl named Ezor bosted. Almost immediately Acxa kicked Rex into Lotor's line of view, catching his attention.

"We're being watched, all guards seek out the intruders!" Acxa ordered through a communicator.

"Rebel fighters you need to get in there now!" You shouted.

Ezor blinked a few times before understanding what was going on. "Go get Zethrid, we're going Paladin hunting," Acxa announced.

"Okay." She answered carelessly with a shrug. Rex was trying to slowly crawl away from the situation but Ezor stepped on his chest causing him to cough as he hit the ground. "And what do we do about him?" Acxa was about to answer but then noticed other fighters coming up from the horizon with weapons at hand.

"Take him with us, I'll go inform Lotor." And with that said, the fight began.

Lazers shot left and right on the ground as the Paladins soon made their arrival and they started by shooting down any spacecraft that was coming their way.

"Lance, hunk! I'm gonna need you two to take out the cannons on the sides. Pidge you go help the rebels get Rex back while Keith and I'll try to get Lotor!" Shiro grunted as he threw the lever forward making his Lion move faster.

"Right!"

Meanwhile, you gritted your teeth seeing that at the moment there really wasn't anything you could do to help your comrades. You watched as Kolivan and the Castle gave aerial support to those below you.

You watched carefully as the scene unfolded but then you noticed something shifting in the center of the Galran base.

The center was opening in a spiral-like manner, letting a tall pillar appear and then fall horizontally, it looked somewhat like an

"Ion cannon..." You breathed.

"Alright, everyone! direct your weapons towards the ion cannon, we need to take that out before it charges!" Instructed Kolivan as his troop moved. You used your Lions' view to zoom into the cannon and inspected it carefully but you couldn't shake off the feeling that something was different about it.

"Kolivan." You began as you tried to contact him.

"Ready!" He shouted, not being able to hear you over all the commotion. The ion cannon started to charge and even the sound was somewhat different. Then your eyes went wide seeing the form of the barrel.

"Kolivan wait!" You shouted as you shot your Lion forward hoping you could prevent what was about to happen.

"Fire!" But you weren't fast enough and all you could do was watch as the main laser started to split into millions of directions. You'd seen that kind of weapon before, it was like Voltrons' Yellow Lion cannon.

Several ships fell like dead flys and all you could do was watch.

Or could you?

You turned on the jamming signal in your suit and the invisibility cloak.

"White, eject!" You shouted and without a second thought, your lion did as you said. You flew out and jet-packed your way over to the castle. You prayed that it would go faster as you zoomed past debris from the last explosion.

After what felt like an eternity, you made your way into the castle and ran down the halls towards the bridge.

"Y/n? What are you doing here?!" Coran asked surprised by your presence.

"Aren't you supposed to be with the blade?" Allura asked, her hands never moving from the central pillars that controlled the castle.

"Trust me on this." You said before closing your eyes and concentrating on your lion. "Come on girl, we can do this." You muttered trying to see through her eyes. Then, finally, the connection was made. You opened your eyes to see Allura and Coran completely confused before your eyes rolled back and you collapsed to the ground.

"Y/N!" Allura shouted as she left the controls to go to your aid.

"Allura? What's going on?" Shiro was the first to ask.

"Guy's! Y/n's riding the White Lion towards the ion cannon, what the hell is she thinking?!" Keith was about to change direction and rush to your aid but Allura stopped him.

"Wait, Keith! Y/n is not there!" Keith froze along with the other Paladins.

"What?" He said completely confused.

"She came here all of a sudden and and..."

"Don't tell me, she actually managed to..." Coran furrowed his eyebrows in question.

"Coran?" Allura spoke up wanting answers.

"She's mentally controlling the Lion."

"Is that even possible?" Allura said barely above a whisper.

"Seems like it. And she's still a badass fighter!" Pidge couldn't help but smile seeing how well you were doing.

"Pidge." Shiro warned.

"Not now Shiro, Y/n's kickin' ass!" And she was right, The White lion was already on top of the ion cannon and cut it in half with the laser. The Galran soldiers watched in horror as you continued to destroy the central base. You ripped and tore apart anything and everything that got in your way, You then turned your attention over to Lotor.

You focused your sight on him and for a split second you could see on his face,

A smirk.

You were baffled towards his expression and then it clicked together, all the while time ran out and you gasped for air when you returned to your body.

"He knew we were coming." You coughed out. "There might be a spy in our ranks..." You added under your breath. Allura and Coran exchanged a glance. "Go and warn the others!" You urged lightly pushing Allura away signaling that you were fine. Allura nodded and went back to her post.

"Paladins! Be careful, Lotor was aware that we were coming! We need to capture him immediately!" Allura started moving the castle forward to increase the chances of the good guys winning.

"And someone get my lion out of there!" You shouted as you slowly stood up with Coran's help.

"I'm on it!" You could hear Hunk respond.

"So now what?" Asked Lance as he froze the last of their weapons with the help of Blue.

"Lead Lotor towards the mines! Then we'll corner him." Shiro instructed.

"Right!" Everyone started changing direction and headed towards the white-haired Galran.

"Lance I need you over here." Added Shiro.

"Roger that!"

Lotor kept his cool as he was slowly pushed back and noticed one of the mines blow up. He grunted as he tried his best to move out of the way but there were too many, and as if in slow motion, Shiro was right behind him with the Black Lion. Lotor's eyes widened as the Lion opened his mouth and captured him.

"Night night, prince." Was the last thing Lotor heard before being shot by Voltrons' very own sharpshooter. "I got him Shiro." Lance informed as he watched Lotor fall to the ground with a loud thud.

"Okay, team, we got what we needed, lets head back."

"Right!"
