Lance scooped you into his arms and took you to the kitchen. You were sat down on the kitchen table and watched curiously as Hunk got together a bunch of different 'ingredients' together. Seeing as to how exotic and weird the food started looking, you were starting to get worried.

"It's going to take me a little while to prepare your food so while you wait you can eat some yummy food goo!" You looked at him with an eyebrow raised.

Food. Goo?

He served you a small plate and set it down in front of you with a big smile.

"Eat up!" Encouraged Pidge handing you a spoon. You looked down at the food with disgust...

It was Green.

Literally GREEN.

No matter how hungry you were, you weren't going to eat that. Nope. 

You were starting to question if you were really safe with them, or if they were gonna fatten you up to eat you. You pushed the plate away from you and the others noticed your rejection towards the new type of food.

"Come on Y/n. It's really good." Shiro tried to convince you as he grabbed another spoon and brought it up to you. You scrunched your nose in disgust and retreated your face. You still weren't convinced so you shook your head in hopes that they would give you something else to eat.

"Alright guys, make way for the child expert!" Lance declared as he walked over to you with his head held high. Everyone gave him questioning looks. "I have four younger siblings and I know how to deal with situations like this." He sat down confidently on a chair next to you and took a spoon full and ate it.

Oh, my, gosh, he ate it.

You literally felt sick seeing him actually enjoy the food goo. "Yum! This really is the best! Try it guys!" Lance passed the plate around and you watched how everyone enjoyed it. You were waiting for him to make you try some again but just kept on eating it by himself. After some time, he looked at you.

"Sorry Y/n but you said you didn't like it." He shrugged you off and kept eating it. You looked at him with eyes of betrayal.

"No! Me me!" You said in your small voice feeling left out.

"Are you sure?" He asked you with a raised eyebrow.

"Uh-huh!" You nodded your head.

"Alright, then~ here comes the goo train~!" Lance made train noises and you opened your mouth, getting ready to taste what was 'so good' to everyone.

You ate the food goo and swallowed.

It wasn't that bad...

You then opened your mouth again, signaling that you wanted more.

"That's a good girl!" Everyone looked at you with a smile and would laugh at some things that you didn't really understand.

Grown-up jokes maybe?

But that's when you realized that there was a Paladin missing, and if you could recall, his name was

"Keef?" You said out loud, trying to find the black-haired man. Everyone stopped talking and looked at each other to see what to say.

"He's busy. Don't worry, he'll be back soon." Shiro said while ruffling your hair.

"Oh..."

"It's ready! Eat up Y/n!" Hunk said, setting down some delicious-looking food on the table. You didn't even ask for an eating utensil because your hands were good enough to do the job.

"This is way too cute!" Lance was the first to take out his 'camera' and took pictures of you as you ate happily.

"Princess! I've got that spare bedroom ready for Y/n." Coran said as he walked into the kitchen.

"Oh! Alright, thank you Coran." Allura turned to look at you. "Ready Y/n?" You finished the last of your desert and raised your arms up to Allura, signaling that you wanted to be carried. Before she took you into her arms, Pidge helped you clean your hands and mouth with a napkin. Allura then picked you up and headed for the doors.

You waved goodbye to the other paladins as you left and they return the gesture with a smile.

The two of you walked down a long hallway. You enjoyed seeing everything from such a tall point of view.

"Your room is this one here." Allura pointed to the one right in front of you. "To your right is Shiro's room and on the left is mine. Hunk is next to Shiro, Pidge's is next to Hunk and Keith's is right across. Lance is next to Keith's." She said as if it was the easiest thing for you to remember.

Your head was spinning but you nodded, supposedly 'understanding' what she said.

"Good! Now all you have to do is place your hand on the door and it will slide open." You raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Like this." She took hold of your small hand and placed it on top of the cool metal. In a few seconds, it beeped and slid open.

You looked at it wide-eyed.

Magic!

You two walked inside and Allura sat you down on your bed. "The bathroom is right there and there's a small closet right here, see?" She walked over to your closet and took out some PJs she used to have when she was little but they were still as good as new. "Here, let me help you get ready so you can go to sleep." You yawned in response, making Allura giggle at your cute actions.

She helped you out by brushing your teeth and giving you a quick bath before dressing you, Then Allura tucked you in your bed.

"Goodnight Y/n." She said sweetly.

"Goodnight Mommy." You said sleepily while placing a small kiss on her cheek as a thank you.

Allura looked at you in surprise as you slowly fell asleep. She got up and with a last look at you over her shoulder, she walked out.

"Did she fall asleep?" Asked Lance once Allura was back at the lounge where the rest of the group was.

"Yes, she did have a long day..."

"So can we get back to the fact that a 3-year-old was on a Galra ship?"

"Hold still you little brat!" You watched as they strapped you down on a metal chair.

"N-Nooo!" You cried out.

"Now tell us, where is it?!" Someone in a purple hood yelled at you while shooting what seemed like black and purple magic at you, causing your body to ache in pain.

"I said tell us!!" They demanded.

"Ah!" You shouted, sitting up in your bed.

Oh, a bad dream...

You looked around your room, only having the line of blue light that decorated parts of your room as a 'lamp'.

I need someone... anyone...

You thought as you quickly got up and waited for your door to slide open so you could run out the room before the monster under the bed could grab a hold of your foot.

You looked around the hallway and tried to remember who was staying in what room. You decided to go to the closest one to you and you knocked on the big metal door.

A while passed and there was no response. It was getting scary being outside alone so you banged the door harder with your tiny fist.

Soon enough, Shiro was out of his room, startled and with his bionic arm glowing ready to attack whoever was there.

You looked at him in shock and you were petrified.

Purple and glowing.

Just like the mean people.

You started to cry pretty loud, getting Shiro's attention, causing him to turn off his weapon.

"Y/n??" He looked at you surprised.

Damn, I forgot she was here and thought there was an intruder.

You kept crying, remembering that awful dream you had.

"Shhh, shhhh. It's okay. I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Look," Shiro signaled towards his arm. "It's not going to hurt you, I'm not going to hurt you. Okay?" You sniffled and nodded your head, understanding.

"Come here." He said as he reached out to pick you up in his arms.

"What happened? Why are you out here all alone? Did you want something? Water? A snack?" He asked, not really knowing much about how to care for small children.

You nodded your head a 'no' and kept sniffling as a few tears kept falling.

"I had a bad dream." You mumbled while rubbing your eyes.

"Oh, was it about..."

"The mean people." You finished his sentence.

"I see, well, it was only a bad dream. It's not real, okay?" You buried your head in his chest. "Do you want to sleep next to me tonight?" Shiro asked. You nodded your head.

"Alright, let's go back to sleep." The two of you started walking back into Shiro's room. He lifted the covers and laid you down on the right side where the wall was so you wouldn't fall off the edge in your sleep. Shiro then scooted himself next to you. You snuggled closer to him, looking for comfort.

Shiro smiled sweetly towards you.

"It's going to be alright Y/n." He leaned over and planted a small kiss on your head. "Goodnight."

"Where the heck is Shiro?" Asked Keith as they waited for the black paladin at the bridge. After yesterday's events Keith was eager to get back into their daily routines and so they could start training again. He looked around to see if anyone knew why he was taking so long.

"He's usually the first one to be here." Added Pidge. As if on cue, Shiro walks in with you in his arms. Both of you with still half-asleep faces.

(Something like this.)

"Morning everyone. Sorry for getting here so late." Shiro yawned before putting you down.

"What happened?" Asked Hunk.

"Y/n had a nightmare last night so I let her sleep with me." He said with a bit of embarrassment.

"That's why you got here late?" Asked Lance.

"I was pretty comfortable, yes. But don't worry, I'll get ready quickly so we can start." Shiro walked out of the room, leaving sleepy you there, not knowing what to do.

"While we wait, why don't I get you changed Y/n?" Allura spoke up and walked over to you, loving the idea of getting to dress you up. "The rest of you start heading to the training room." She instructed after taking a hold of your hand. You smiled at Allura and happily followed her back to your room.

"See? This is why I said that we shouldn't be keeping a kid." Keith crossed his arms getting annoyed.

"There wasn't much we could do, we just have to go along with it." Pidge said with a shrug as she made her way out.

"Oh! I should serve Y/n's breakfast!" Hunk said with excitement since he wanted to see your cute expression when you would eat his cooking.

Meanwhile, Keith was getting all the more irritated by the tick.

Lance walked over to Keith and gave his arm a small nudge. "Come on Keith, we can't really do much about it now. She's a part of our team. Trust me, soon you'll grow to like her too." Keith looked at Lance as if he were crazy.

There was a whooshing sound of the door opening up, revealing a now wide awake Y/n in another cute outfit that Allura would wear when she was a child.

"There's my special girl!" Lance cheered as he rushed over to you and picked you up in the air and spun you around, causing you to giggle and laugh.

Keith watched as you played around with Lance.

Me? Like that brat? pfft, yeah right.
