I wanted to show you this whole thing.Not just because of the art.Also because of the story behind it.

I'm not sure if the artist intended it to be like this or not,but,this is most likely a short story about Goshiki's drive to be better than Ushijima.

All he wanted was the attention and praise to keep him going.All he wanted was help from Ushijima.He wants to be noticed and cared for.The way Goshiki always asks for attention makes me think something is wrong with his home life.

His home life might not be as good as it seems.Possibly,I think,it isn't both of his parents but it is just one.

One of his parents work while the other is drunk and hungry and doesn't do anything for themself.

That's what probably drives him to constantly want attention.That,or some sort of hidden illness.

I think Goshiki just wants to be noticed by his idol.An idol that he sees everyday.

But all that idol does is praise everyone and become close to everyone but him.

I feel like Goshiki often ponders about wether he is good enough,since Ushijima never praises him.This probably just depresses him further.

I think his obsession with Ushijima is so big that he just wants to have sex with Ushijima so the both can feel fulfilled.I think they only have sex when Ushijima is single.So when Ushijima becomes Tendou's boyfriend,Goshiki seeks other guys.

They could be dirty guys,horrible guys.Yet one of his parents doesn't care and the one that does has no idea.

His mental state becomes worse and he just doesn't care about himself anymore.

He had depression,can't do anything without feeling worthless.

He becomes beyond help and just seeks attention to try and help himself get out of this pit he's fallen into.

Why else would he want everyone else to give him attention?Why else would he want Ushijima to notice him?
