"Finally." I whispered quietly to myself. I was finally out of the orphanage which I had taken refuge in for a couple days since I was moved to it from Canada to America. I sighed and walked around the new town examining all the new places and areas I would soon discover more on. I stopped at a alley. That specific alley didn't interest me by itself it was just the words written on the wall inside the alley. "Hero's place" was splayed across the brick. I looked at it for a moment until I brought my hand up to it. The tips of my fingers slipped across an open area. I stopped right there, my curiosity was going to get the best of me. I turned around and started to walk off slowly, I couldn't help but slip another peak at the mysterious place one last time before I headed back to the orphanage.
"Rhena?" The old women's voice rang. I looked up as I opened the door. It was the woman who ran the orphanage. I smiled at her as I slipped off my shoes. I looked at the clock to find it was 9:30. "I'm sorry that I stayed out past bed time. I found something that interested me." The old woman which I knew as Frina laughed. "It's okay. I can see how such a small town with such amazing features could interest someone like you." I nodded. "I'm going to head to bed. I have school tomorrow anyways." I slipped past her and made my way to the bed room. "Night." "Good night." "Nightttt" "shutup, Jesus." Was all I was greeted with. I took my place in my bed and was soon accompanied by the sounds and visions of my dreams.
My eyes opened. I laid there my brain adjusting to waking up. The orphanage's cat Elvis laid ontop of me. Named after the pop artist Elvis, everyone insisted on giving him the looks of Elvis also. He was such a fat cat. I pushed him off of me until he landed on the floor with a huge thump. The wood floors groaned as he slowly walked off, each step agony for him. Poor cat I think to myself standing up and touching my hair. My dyed beach blonde hair was all frizzed up. "Fuck" I hiss angrily this was going to be human hell for me.
