Chapter Three
Three days. That’s how long it took for the whole school to find out. News traveled slower than expected, and I have Blair to thank for that. She could have shouted it from the rooftops, but she only told her friends, who, of course, told everyone else. I expected all the girls to loathe me, but I’m pleasantly surprised.
Of course, a bunch of girls look at me in disgust, but I can’t help but notice all the lustful looks most girls are giving me. It’s pathetic really- they’re even more shallow than I am. I can’t say I mind it though; because honestly, who would want me otherwise?
Blair.
She did at least. She cared for me despite my many flaws, stuck with me until I really crossed the line. I never deserved her, she never deserved to get her heart broken by me.
“Hey, Blake.” A seductive voice whispers in my ear, and my locker is shut close just after I’ve quickly snatched my hand away.
I turn around and stand face to face with an unfamiliar blonde, “Uh, hi?” I sheepishly reply.
The flash of hurt in her eyes tells me I should probably know her, but I have no idea who she is.“You don’t remember me, do you?”
“Um, no.”
My confession doesn’t seem to faze her, she even smirks and leans closer, “Let me refresh your memory then.” Her lips move frantically against mine, and her hands start to unbutton my jeans.
I break away from our kiss and grab her wrist to stop her escapade. There’s nothing stopping me from having a little fun now that I’m single again, so I smirk at her and suggest, “Let’s take this somewhere a little more private, shall we?”
Break just started, so the hallway is full of people hurrying towards the cafeteria, and let’s just say I don’t partially like an audience.

I try to sneak out the classroom, but I bump into someone as soon as I set foot outside. A pair of familiar brown eyes stare back at me, but they’ve lost that spark of happiness I liked so much. Now only disappointment and sadness are evident in Blair’s gaze.
I clear my throat, mumbling an awkward, “Sorry.”
She shrugs, “It’s fine.” She hurries to get away from me, but I stop her by grabbing her wrist, a gesture that surprises both me and her. “I really am sorry, Blair.”
Her face softens for a brief moment, but turns grave again, angry even. “Maybe I would have believed you hadn’t you just fucked that slut over there.” she says, motioning behind me. I crane my neck, to see the blonde straightening her shirt, and Blair uses the moment of distraction to pull away and disappear in the mass of teenagers.
"Well, that was fun.” the fair-haired girl replies as she fixes my collar. Before I can whack her hands away, she’s already dropped them to her sides. After a peck on my lips and a playful wink, she disappears in the crowd.
The bell has already rung, but instead of heading to class, I head to the bathroom to fix my messy appearance.

“You’re late, Mr. Harvey.” Mr. Wood states lazily.
“Yeah, I uh, got held up. Sorry.” I mutter as I slowly take place next to Luke.
He gives me a knowing look, “I can’t believe you. It’s only been five days since your break-up, and you’re already banging other girls.”
“It’s not my fault girls find me irresistible Luke. Nor is it my fault that that obviously isn’t the case with you.”
“A little self-control never hurt nobody.”
I roll my eyes at him, “Why do you suddenly care so much about my sexlife? I leave Suzanne alone, don’t I?”
“If you know what’s good for you.” he murmurs, grinning a little. “I’m just-” he sighs and slightly shakes his head, “Nevermind.”
“You’re just what? Jealous?” I ask him, chuckling.
“Yeah, because oh my god, Blake, you’re so hot.”
“I meant jealous that I actually get laid,” I reply, grinning, “But thanks, love you too, babe.”
“Wow. Who said anything about love? I just think you’re hot and want to take advantage of your sexy body as all the girls do. I’m not ready for a serious relationship, sorry.”
“Oh, you’re breaking my heart.” I reply sarcastically.
