I sat in my room in a chair next to my bedroom window. I just kept watching for Danny. I wanted him to come home.

I felt tears streaming down my face. Jazz, Mom, Dad and Danielle were all asleep in their rooms. They all had told me I should and needed to get some sleep too. But, every time my eyes closed I saw Danny laying on the ground somewhere, dead or badly injured.

I couldn't bare the thought of losing Danny after finally getting to meet him and spending so much time with him. I wiped my tears and sniffled. I sat on my bed.

"You doing okay?" Jazz asked as she walked in.

I jumped off the bed. "Geez la weez Jazz! You gave me a freaking heart attack!" I yelled.

"Sorry. It wasn't on purpose," she said with a hint of sadness in her voice.

"It's fine. And to answer you question. No. I'm not doing okay," I said.

Jazz sighed and nodded. "Neither is Danielle," she said.

"Think we should go after Danny. He might need help," I said quickly.

Jazz smiled. "I'll wake up Danielle," she said as ran out of the room. I dialed Sam's number. I smiled when she answered.

"Hello?" Sam said.

"Hi Sam. It's Sophie. Is Tucker there?" I asked.

"Yes. Are we going after Danny?" Sam asked.

"Yep. Sneak out as best you can. Jazz, Danielle, my mom, my dad and I will be there soon." I said.

"Roger that! Tuck! Wake the heck up!" Sam yelled before she hung up.

I woke up my parents and told them we were going after Danny. They nodded and got ready. Once at Sam's, we found Tucker, his parents, Sam, her grandmother and her parents all ready to go.

"I thought I said to sneak out!" I yelled.

"Sorry," Sam and Tucker whimpered at the same time.

"Danny would save us any day of the year. Why shouldn't we help get him back?" Said Tucker's mom. The others nodded in agreement.

"BECAUSE THE MORE PEOPLE, THE HARDER IT IS TO PROTECT EVERYONE!!!" I screamed. I let out one of my famous blood curdling screams, causing everyone to jump and back up. I did it so loud the whole block woke up. I shifted into went Ghost and sighed.

"I'm going to give you all a gift. Tonight and tonight only, you'll all be half Ghosts. And I'll show you how to use your powers. But that's doesn't mean you can't get hurt," I said.

I looked up at the sky and said, "If dawn comes before we get Danny back, I want every single one of you whom I'm giving this gift to, to retreat. All except Jazz, Sam, Tucker, Danielle and my parents can stay. You're all skilled and trained Ghost fighters."

Looking back at everyone, I took a deep breath. "We are Danny's only hope people! So I want you to listen very carefully and do as I ask you to. Thought before I explain the plan of attack, I have a request that I'd like you to all promise me you will fulfill," I said.

They all nodded.

"I'm probably not going to make it back. If I don't... I want you all to support Danny. After all..." I paused and walked over to Danielle. "Danny has a daughter to raise and if I don't make it back, he'll need help. So please. Promise me you'll do that for him?" I asked.

They stood there silently.

"Please?! Danny needs this!" I begged.

They nodded.

"Thank you," I said.

I began to glow. I twirled around and said, "For one night and one night only! Become, oh become my fellow Halfas!"

Training was quick and everyone was ready. I decided to extend the length of time they had as half Ghosts. Then, we were off. But the battle had only just begun.
