Mom opened the door.

"Vlad! What a pleasant surprise!" Mom said letting Vlad in the house. Danielle grabbed my arm. She tugged me toward the bedrooms.

"Dani? What's wrong?" I asked her.

She broke down crying. "He's the man the made me from Daddy's cell. He's also the one who forced me to age physically. He likes to make me hurt other people and steal things. I hate him," Dani said bitterly.

I couldn't believe it. Vlad was one of my parents best friends from college. "Why would he do this? Why would he take a cell from Danny? Why would he make Danielle? But, more importantly, why would he make Danielle do things to hurt people and make her steal?" I thought to myself.

I didn't try to get any more information from Danielle, she was too upset. I took her upstairs to her new room. After a few minutes, Danielle was asleep on her bed.

"Poor Danielle must have been exhausted," I thought to myself.

"Well well. If it isn't little Sophie," said Vlad as he came out of the kitchen doorway. I stopped in my tracks and glared at him.

"What'd you want Vlad?" I asked coldly.

He began to circle me. I transformed into my other form, now known to the citizens of Amity Park as Spectra Phantom. Vlad transformed into his other form, known to Danny and Danielle as Plasmius.

"So you're Plasmius then?! I should have known! You where the first to go to the Ghost Zone after all!" I said with a growl.

Plasmius laughed. "Oh yes my dear. I am Plasmius. And this is my newest toy!" Plasmius yelled as he used what looked like a taser on me. Normally, things like a taser wouldn't do anything to me as Spectra but, this was a Ghost taser.

"Crap!! Danny!! Help me!!" I screamed. But I was too late in calling for help. A strange blue light surrounded us and the next thing I knew, I was in Plasmius' laboratory.

Meanwhile, back at home, Danny and Dani were pacing back and forth. Jazz, (who had been hiding behind the door to the kitchen and saw the whole thing), was explaining to my parents what happened. Mom was about in tears. Dad was pounding his fist against the wall.

"I'm going after him!" Danny yelled after a few minutes of watching our family fall apart at the seams.

"But Danny!?" Jazz protested.

"Daddy?" Danielle asked. She was looking up into Danny's eyes. She shifted her weight from side to side.

"What Danielle?" Danny asked as he walked towards the front door.

Danielle swallowed hard. "I'm coming too!" She yelled.

Everyone stared.

Danny smiled gently at Danielle. "Yes you are," he said.

"Danny wait!" Jazz yelled.

"No way! She's our family! And family is family no matter what!!" Danny yelled.

They quickly transformed into their Ghost forms, flew out the front door and into the night. Jazz, mom and dad ran outside. They just stood there. Hoping and praying for everything to turn out alright.
