The next few weeks were different than before Danny and I had been attacked. Danny wasn't his usual 'I'm gonna kick your butt if you dare touch my friends and family' guy. That didn't just make me worry, it made me terrified. Another few weeks passed. Danny didn't want to eat or play video games or even talk.

Scare and worried, I called Ember McLain. Ember was Danny's enemy, but she was slowly becoming my best friend. When Ember arrived, I explained to her what happened.

"Got any of Danny's DNA? We could take it to Frostbite in the Far North? He might have an idea of what's going on with Danny," Ember said.

"I'll go get Danny's hair brush or something," I said. A few minutes later I was back in my room.

"Got it?" Ember asked.

"Yep," I said turning Ghost. We fazed through the floor and flew into the Ghost Zone. Everyone stared as we zoomed past heading towards the Far North.

"Spectra Phantom!" I heard someone familiar yell. I looked up to find Jonny 13. I hated Jonny. He was such a player. Jonny flew in front of me and blocked every attempt of passing him.

"Go away Jonny! I'm trying to find out why Danny is acting funny!" I yelled.

Jonny grabbed my wrist. "You blind or something? Danny was threatened. Didn't you get Kitty's message?" Jonny asked.

"No I didn't get Kitty's message. And threatened? Threatened with what?" I asked.

"Vlad threatened to kill you if Danny didn't die instead," Kitty said sadly as she floated towards me.

"What! So... Danny's wounds?! They were self inflicted?!" I screamed.

Jonny and Kitty nodded.

I turned to Ember. "Did you know?!" I yelled.

She shook her head and said, "I had no idea. I didn't even know what happened really."

"Danny..." I felt tears begin to burn my eyes.

"I'm sorry Spectra," Kitty said hugging me.

"GRAAAH!!! VLAD YOU ARE SOOO DEAD!!!! FOR REAL DEAD!!!" I screamed. I blasted off towards Vlad's portal.

Ember followed after me. "Spectra!!! Don't do anything stupid or something you're going to regret!!" She yelled.

"HOW DARE HE THREATEN MY LITTLE BROTHER!!! HE'LL PAY!!!" I screamed. Back at home, Danny finally came out of his room.

"Jazz?" Danny called as he walked down the stairs into the living room.

"Danny?!" She cried. Jazz spun around, dove at Danny and hugged him. Danny smiled and hugged Jazz back. Slowly, his smile fades and a frown takes it's place.

"Where's Sophie? She usually brings me lunch and begs me to eat something. But she hasn't tried today," Danny said sounding very hurt.

"Sophie? She's out with Ember. Well at least I think she is," Jazz said with a shrug.

"Jazz! Danny!" Ember screamed as she fazed through the floor. She collapsed to her hands and knees panting.

"Ember what's wrong?!" Jazz asked shaking Ember's shoulder.

"Sophie! She... knows... Danny's... w-wounds... were... self... inflicted!" Ember panted. Jazz jumped and stared at Danny in total shock. Danielle, Mom and Dad gasped at what Ember had said.

"It's not like I had a choice!" Danny yelled. He grabbed Ember and asked, "Where is Sophie? Please tell me she didn't go after Vlad?"

Ember looked at the floor. "I said she knows," Ember said sadly. She was still breathing heavily.

"No! She didn't!" Danny sobbed.

"She loves you very much Danny. She told me if she let Vlad get away with what he did to you, she'd never forgive herself," Ember said hugging Danny.

"What'll if she doesn't come back?! I just got her back! I don't want to lose her again!" Danny wailed.

"Then let's go after her and help!" Jazz yelled.

Everyone except Danny nodded.

"No. I'm going alone," Danny said.

"But Danny?! She's my sister..."

"I know she's our sister! But this is Sophie's and my fight! I don't want to lose any of you!" Danny yelled. He turned ghost and flew off. Everyone stared at him as he vanished into the night sky.

"Come home safe Daddy," Danielle whispered.
