Little: Mingi and Jongho

Caregivers: Hongjoong and Yeosang

Mingi POV

It's been a while since we had a break. For the past few weeks, things with our comeback have been really busy. Performances, interviews, practice, it's all day, every day.

Hongjoong came home from the studio yesterday and told us we had the weekend off. To say we were relieved was an understatement.

You see, I am a little, and I haven't been able to slip since we started this comeback. Quite a few times i was close to doing it, but was brought out of it by group activities. This weekend I will finally be able to slip.

The thing is, whenever we have breaks, we are always together. That wouldn't be a problem, if everyone knew I was a little. The only people who know are my Caregivers, Hongjoong and Yeosang.

I didn't realize everyone was staring at me until I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Are you alright Mingi?", San asked.

"O-oh, yeah. I'm sorry what were we talking about?"

I saw Yeosang looking at me. I looked down and pretended not to see him.

"The local animal shelter is hosting an adoption event.", Seonghwa said.

"They're going to do a puppy parade in their store to showcase the dogs. It will go all the way from puppies to big ones.", Hongjoong said.

Great. Puppies. I remember when Yeosang took Jongho to a puppy rescue center and he got one for San.

This brings me to my second problem. Jongho. Don't get my wrong, I love him, so much. The issue is that everyone knows he is a little. They might think im copying him if they found out. Also, Yeosang is his caregiver, so he rarely gets to spend time with me.

I was upstairs getting ready when a knock came on the door. I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist. By the hands I knew it was Yeosang.

"What's wrong MinMin?"

"Please don't call me that..."

"Why not?", he pouted.

"Because I don't want to slip. Not today."

"Really?"

"Yes. We have to go to this puppy parade. If I slip, everyone will know."

"Mingi, you see how they treat Jongho. Why are you scared?"

"That's the problem, I do see how they treat him. They love him, but they won't love me."

I walked from the room, leaving Yeosang standing there with a shocked look.

Yeosang POV

I was sitting inbetween Mingi and Yunho in the car.

We were going back to the same shop where Jongho bought the puppy for San. The maknae was already little, and excitedly holding and shaking the hands of Woosan in the row behind us.

I kept glancing at Mingi. He looked upset. I know I wasn't the only one who noticed. Seonghwa was looking at us from the passenger seat, and saw his face.

"Mingi are you alright? You're not sick are you?", he asked.

"I'm fine."

The vehicle went silent.

Mingi sounded like he was about to cry when he spoke, and we all heard it. To make things less awkward, I looked at the row behind me.

"Jongho sweetie, can I see that plushie of yours?"

"Okie mama!"

He handed me the plush as everyone resumed their conversations. I placed the toy on Mingi's lap, who looked at me and shook his head.

"It's okay princess, just hold it."

I saw the look in his eyes change, and that's when I knew, I made him slip. He held my hand, along with the horns of the plushie, and stared out of the window.

A few minutes later we arrived at the shop. Jongho was the first one out of the car. He dragged Woosan inside and the rest of us followed. Mingi held my hand and stayed silent. I whispered to Hongjoong that Mingi was little and I could see him tense up. He knew Mingi didn't want the others to know.

Inside of the store, the little puppy parade was starting. Jongho was jumping in excitement when the first puppies came out with bowties and boots.

"So cute!", I yelled.

"Mama look a orange one!"

"Ooo can I get that one?"

"Yunho that one looks like you!"

"Hongjoong look a tophat!"

The various members were yelling things to each other as the dogs walked by. The other people in the store were taking photos and picking out which ones they want.

Mingi had let go of my hand and was standing by Seonghwa, smiling at the puppies.

When a black Labrador puppy walked into the room, I saw Mingi's eyes widen.

Uh oh.

"Eomma! Puppy! Eomma! I wan that one!"

The group got quiet again.

Mingi noticed he just accidentally spoke, and started crying. He ran past me, and out of the store. I looked at the members, and Jongho who was looking sympathetic. He walked past us as well, presumably to follow Mingi.

I was about to follow them when Hongjoong held me back.

"Let Jongho talk to him. Little to little.", he said out loud.

We both began to explain the situation to the others, who wanted to know immediately.

3rd Person POV

Jongho saw Mingi in the van and got in himself.

Mingi was crying while holding the plushie. Jongho leaned on his shoulder, making the other look at him.

"J-jongie?"

"It otay Mingi, I here to help."

Jongho reached his whole body forward to open the glove compartment of the passenger side. He grabbed some tissues and wiped Mingi's face.

"Jongie not mad at me?"

"Nope! I wuv you! We brothers now!"

Mingi shyly smiled and hugged the younger.

"Jongie, will hyungs not like me?"

"Hyungs wuv you always Mingi!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yep! I show you."

The strong maknae dragged Mingi from the van and back into the store. Hongjoong ran up and hugged them both.

The other members crowded with hugs, all except for one, who wasn't there.

"Where eomma?", Mingi asked, hugging Yunho.

"Yeosang has a gift for you."

The mentioned boy came from a back room of the store with something in his hands.

Mingi almost screamed when he saw two black Labrador puppies in his hands, both wearing bowties.

"One for you, one for me."

Mingi grabbed a puppy, who started licking his hands.

Wooyoung stood in front of the two littles.

"Mingi, we will always love you. No matter what. Being a little is nothing to be scared of, or afraid.", he said.

"Besides," San started, "Double the babies equals double the cuteness. And double the cuteness equals more people to share my favorite cartoons with."

"Cute.", Wooyoung said.

The group left the store and decided to go home.

Mingi and Jongho were inseparable, and Hongjoong was proud to help Yeosang caring for Jongho as well.

Mingi learned that it's okay to be little in front of his members, and from then on, he took every chance he had to do so.
