1. Robin

Today was a good day. The birds were chirping, trees rustling, even the town seemed to be happier. At least, outside the Titan Tower. Mind you, it was quite early in the morning, only about four, and---

"AHHH!"

Robin sat up in a flash, (No, not you, Kid Flash...) his chest heaving for breath and he himself shaken. He placed an ungloved hand over his heart, seemingly seeing if it was still beating. And, it sure was. Fast. His door slammed open to reveal four other Teen Titans, Cyborg at the lead. "Yo, what's wrong?" Robin snapped his head in the other direction; His mask wasn't on. Bringing a pale arm over his eyes, he turned blindly to his bedside table and groped around for his mask. The material brushed over his fingers and he slapped it onto his face.

The Boy Wonder turned his head back to the Team and started to unravel himself from his covers silently. Cyborg tried again. "Killer Moth send a trio of his kids to lay eggs on your head?" Beast Boy chuckled at this, but Robin shook his head at Cyborg and sent Beast Boy one of his Batman-Glares; Only learned from the best. "I'm fine. Just..." Robin paused. What could he call that? "A Nightmare. Yeah." Raven floated over disbelievingly. "Uh, Robin..." She started, before Starfire popped her head out of the crowd. "Friend Robin? Are you the o and the kay?" Robin smiled at her weakly, nodding as he stood up. Finally.

"Um... Could I get dressed?" His friends stared at him, BB's face turning red. "Oh, uh..." Raven turned and shoveled them out of the room, looking at Robin one last time before shutting the door completely. 'Course, they were still outside, but... Robin grabbed his Traffic-Light uniform and quickly put it on, unlocking the door with acrobatic speed and starting to gel his hair. At the click of the lock, his Team came back in. "So, dude... What was that all about?" Robin frowned. "I told you already. No need to repeat information already given." His voice was sharp yet soft, warm yet cut. The strict voice of a person who was hiding something.

"Dude, you suck at lying." Beast Boy jabbed, and Cyborg snickered. Raven sighed and Starfire tilted her head. Robin, well, he turned red. "I'm not lying." He forced a calm tone into his words, grinding his teeth together at the memory of his... Yeah. "Sure, you aren't." Cyborg drawled, and Raven grabbed Starfire's hand. "Come on, let's meditate. Boy time." Starfire giggled and they disappeared down the hallway, heading for the apathetic Titan's room. Robin sighed. "I can't tell you." He started to head for the door when Cyborg stopped him. "You heard them. Boy Time." BB chuckled, looking at Robin's angered face. His own fell considerably as he paled.

"Yo, he's gonna blow!" He turned into a chicken, clucking around Robin's room before stopping to stare at his leader. "Woah, It's like I'm Slade and he's going to kill me." Robin was shaking with anger, Cyborg's strong arm around his own forearm the only thing stopping him from running off at lightning speeds. "Let me go train, Cyborg. Unless you want a match." He changed the subject, smirking. Cyborg grinned and let him go, heading for the Training Room. "Oh, you're on." Beast Boy snickered and followed, grabbing Robin's hand like a child would do and dragging him with him.

They entered the room and Robin instinctively looked up. Yep, he could still see the faint bars of his trapeze. He was brought out of his thoughts by BB pulling him into the center of the Gym, setting him across from Cyborg. The Boy Wonder looked at his friend's half-human face warily. This was the first time he had fought any one of the Titans... Cyborg grinned, looking over his scrawny form. "Robin, has a thirteen year old been leading us this whole time?" Robin flushed with anger. "I wouldn't get your hopes up, Cyborg. I can still kick your butt." He smirked at Cyborg's flustered look and looked up at the hidden (Well, to others...) machine on the wall. Robin looked away and got into a fighting stance.

"Computer, initiate fighting sequence number 130-2446. Scoreboard Robin set zero; Scoreboard Cyborg set 0. Begin on countdown." Cyborg blinked as Robin said this, and the boy looked up at him. "Do you want to call anyone here?" Robin asked, and BB jumped up and down. "I already got everyone!" It was true. Starfire and Raven were sitting on the ground delicately, Beast Boy among them. Except... Ugh, the green changeling had popcorn. Robin snickered at his antics, and backed up, along with Cyborg, to their respective Corners. "Computer, initiate Sycome-Plasmatic Barriers." The Group on the sidelines watched in awe as four metallic pillars rose out of the corners of the Mat, opening up to reveal long yet thin poles. Blue, transparent Plasmatic energies stretched across the poles to meet each other, and then, they were ready.

"You ready to rumble, Robin?" Cyborg taunted, but the Boy Wonder just smirked. This brought back so many memories... He shook his head and started the countdown with a simple command.

Begin!

Robin practically flew at Cyborg, who side-stepped the attack. Or, so he thought. Heading straight for the wall, he landed parallel to the Plasmatic-Fence in a crouch and pushed himself off it with strong legs, flipping over Cyborg in a backhand spring. Cyborg gasped and grit his teeth, while Robin just grinned. Beast Boy's eyes were wide. Robin just... Did he smile?! The Boy Wonder bounced out of his spring with a push off the ground, landing nimbly on his feet. He brought a hand up, taunting Cyborg to come at him. "Come on, Cyborg. Don't hold back, now." Cyborg snarled in response, revving up his arm-cannon and bringing it to face Robin directly. "I'm not." He blasted at his Leader thrice, the blue energies leaving smoke behind with each shot. Robin flipped back to avoid each, and smirked. "This brings back memories. You know; Beating Aquaman. Getting electrocuted."

Cyborg growled humanely again and aimed, as Robin came flying in to his left. A punch to the gut knocked the wind out of Cyborg as his Leader darted past, and Cyborg shot wildly. "Hit me! I can take it." Robin kartwheeled past each one, some one-handed, some with his hands not even touching the ground. Cyborg gaped at the Boy Wonder, lowering his cannon for a moment and then taking a fighting stance. If he couldn't shoot him, he could definitely punch him. Robin finished kartwheeling, bouncing up on his toes excitedly. Boy, did he look like a little kid... Cyborg almost couldn't throw a fist at him. Almost.

Cyborg launched himself at Robin with a yell, taking the boy by surprise as a fist was aimed at his face. The Acrobat laughed as he ducked backwards, bending into a backhand spring to kick Cyborg upside the chin. Cyborg grunted and held his chin gingerly at the hit, as Robin flipped back some more and then landed with a soft thud. "I don't think this is a good idea, Cyborg. I could really hurt you." Cyborg smirked at the lad, taking his hand off of his chin and stepping back into his stance, fists up. "You couldn't hurt me with your puny frame." This set something off in the boy. Robin visibly bristled, before stepping out of his steel-toed shoes. He tossed them aside, letting them go through the energy fence. His eyes narrowed in his domino mask, the skin squishing slightly on the outsides of his eyes. "I could. And now, I will."

Cyborg's eyes widened as Robin disappeared from view in a single second as he had blinked. "Robin? Where'd you go?" He stumbled forward and his vision spun when he was answered with a hard kick to the back of his neck, Robin balancing there as light as a feather. Cyborg growled, reaching up to grab Robin's feet. Yet, the boy was already gone with the grace of a... Well, um, Robin. Cyborg turned around slowly to see his surroundings, and when a shadow moved even slightly, he turned around with his robotic arms crackling with electricity. His fist met something, the side of something, and this something yelled out in pain... Robin! Cyborg's eyes widened as he watched his leader convulse on the ground, and Raven yelled out to them. "Stop!" Yet, the shield wouldn't let them through, and Robin rolled up onto his knees, shaking like a leaf.

"Robin, you alright, dude?" Cyborg knelt down next to the Boy Wonder, when he saw a smirk on his face. Bam! Cyborg was sent flying back as a fist hit his face roughly. The Robotic Man landed on his back with a grunt, and the computer's voice sounded out through the room. "Robin; 1. Cyborg; 0. Robin Wins." Only Beast Boy cheered as the Boy Wonder stood up slowly, walking over to Cyborg and helping the man up with an offered hand. "Dude, you were faking?!" Cyborg gaped, and Robin winced. "Uh, no..." His hand drew up to his left forearm, where the fist had collided with his smooth skin. There was a smoking, sizzling burn, the epidermis there burned off to reveal tough muscle and some bone. And, of course, a lot of blood. Robin's eyes showed masked (Heh...) emotion as his hand covered the wound, more like hole. Actually, his eyes were closing, and he could feel himself falling...
