Professor Oozora agreed to look after Eva as they headed for the lab beneath the holographic lake. It wasn't long until they arrived at the gates and hopped off of Yagami's car.

"It's ironic..." The auburn haired male stated. "Once, I stood on the other side of this fence, working to overthrow the government. Yet now, I'm being entrusted with the key to that same government."

No one commented. They couldn't even begin to imagine how hard it was for him when he found out he was being used. The lies that had been spun for years all came to light in such a short span of time, and he made the choice to switch sides, despite the rough treatment. Jin knew the feeling, they were both in the same boat.

They walked the rest of the way, and found the facility running. Ban took out the binoculars he borrowed. "It's just like what they reported."

"The entrance used for importing goods that you once broke into is probably being guarded by LBXs now." Yagami turned to the black and white haired boy. "In that case..."

He nodded. "We have to use the emergency escape passage. Let's go." He led them back into the forest, treading on a dirt path until they reached an empty clearing. "It's here."

"Here?" Ami asked. "But there's nothing here..."

He approached a tree, reaching between its roots. "It should still work." He felt the handle and gave it a tug. A click was heard and a trapdoor opened.

"This is the emergency escape passage?" Ban asked.

"I thought it'd be a little more flashier than this..." Kazu muttered.

Jin gave a small smile at his comment. He knew just how advanced the facilities were, so it's no surprise that they'd think the passage would be the same way. However, "There are still uses for old tricks like these. This isn't monitored by the facility's surveillance system, so Mizel shouldn't notice us."

Ban took a moment to let it sunk in before opening his CCM. "Seeker Base, this is Ban. We will begin our infiltration now."

"Roger that. Be on the alert." Takuya reminded.

"Yes, sir."

"It's finally time." Mano stated, looking back on her two coworkers.

"They should be fine as long as they got Yagami-san!" Yakabe smiled.

"Even so, they cannot let their guards down." Hosoi reminded him. "There's no telling what sort of traps Mizel has in place for them."

"Eva, how are you feeling?"

The blonde gave the blue haired professor a smile. "I think I just need to rest for a bit longer."

"How long have you had these dizzy spells?"

"The first time I got one was during the president's... No, that's not it." When they were in Paradise? No, she knew that wasn't the first. She hummed a little, before finally remembering. "It was when I first saw Adam and Eve, back on that tanker, Future Hope. It happened once there, but it didn't came back until their deletion. And ever since then..."

"So, you're saying that your dizzy spells might somehow be related to Adam and Eve?" Professor Oozora turned to the other adults. "Does this base have a scanner room?"

"We have the device, but-"

"That's good enough. Please let me borrow it!"

Takuya was surprised by her sudden request, but he asked one of his subordinates to fetch and prepare it.

Eva blinked. "Um... Professor, what are you...?"

She bit her lip, concern clear in her eyes. "Your AI is fragile, Eva. We have to make sure nothing is wrong with it."

The Seeker member came back and they were led to a separate room. She sat down and closed her eyes, allowing the professor to start.

Niara whistled. "Wow, Indonesia's really green, huh? All these trees around the power plant..."

"Jartan Island is only one of the thousands of islands in this country." Yuuya muttered. "If the power plant ceased functioning, all the hospitals and schools won't be able to last much longer."

Hiro made a call to report back to Seeker Base. He informed them of the entire situation, including how it was decided that only LBXs would handle the situation. If they tried to forcibly attack, it would put the whole plant in danger. Ran jumped in and told them that they'll begin the recovery operation immediately, earning nods from the adults.

"Um... How are Ban and the others doing?" Hiro asked.

"They're beginning their infiltration of the research facility." Takuya replied.

"I see. We'll work just as hard as them!"

"How's Eva doing? Is she still there?" Niara asked the blue haired boy.

"Professor Oozora is checking up on her, but I'm sure she's fine."

"The AI specialist, huh?" Kirito muttered. "Makes some sense, I guess."

Asuka turned to him. "What does?"

"Nothin'."

"We'll be off now." Hiro ended the call and turned back to the rest of them. "Let's go, everyone!"

"Right!"

"Once we emerge from this passage way, we'll head straight for the control room." Yagami began. "We'll use the controls there to cut the server room off from the system's network, making it a standalone network. If we do that, then Mizel won't find out about the AX-000 while we work."

"After that, we'll split into two groups and head for the server room." Ban summed.

"Ban, Ami, and Kazu will all be with me." Professor Yamano stated.

"Okay."

"Jin, you're coming with me." The auburn haired man earned a nod from said boy. "Whoever gets there first will guard the room."

"But why did Mizel seize this place in the first place?" Kazu asked.

"The Innovators used to develop high-grade LBXs." Ban replied. "He could be using that data to strengthen his Vectors."

"There are LBX production lines here as well." Yagami stated. "He could be using those to mass-produce Vectors."

"At any rate, we must focus on salvaging these blueprints before Mizel notices them."

"Before Mizel notices..." The brunette repeated after his father, as if it could be a mantra for their luck. No one could complain, they'd need it.

At the end of the passage, Yagami opened the wall to reveal they were within a hidden door in the corridor. Wasting no time, they ran ahead, right to the doors of the control room. They took out their LBXs and took cover behind the walls.

"We're going in all at once!" The ex-battalion leader ordered.

"Alright!"

He opened the door, and in that instance, bullets fired from the inside. They finished off the enemies as fast as they could before running in. The auburn haired man took his seat by one of the computers and began his work.

"Converting to standalone network. Professor, you take the rightmost route."

"Understood."

"Jin." He looked up at the brunette. "Take care."

His face remained expressionless, but he nodded. "Yeah. You too."

Once he was out of the room, Jin took in his surroundings. Almost nothing had changed about the place. "You were always giving commands from here."

His reply didn't came long. "Yeah."

"I've thought alone for a long, long time what the Innovator incident meant to me in the end."

"Did you find an answer?"

"No..." He gave a light sigh. "Only that I managed to make many friends because of that incident. And... that I got to see an entirely different world."

Yagami didn't look up, but he was listening thoroughly. "I was the same way." The computer beeped, showing a black orb disconnected from several white lines. "Alright, the server room has been cut off from the rest of the system."

"We should leave now." Jin went to the door on the left, but turned back when the man didn't follow him. "Yagami-san."

He jumped slightly, before nodding at him. "Right, sorry."

Jin didn't say a word. The man ran over and opened the door, only to be confronted by another army. They jumped back before they could start firing, taking out their LBXs once again.

"Triton!"

"General!"

"Looks like I've found you at a good time."

She was able to hear that voice again.

"Your talk just now agreed perfectly with my ideals. History proves that war brings about technological advancements, but the amount of blood that gets spilled when that happens makes it a very inefficient process."

She knew he was right.

"Humans are foolish creatures. That is why I must improve them. The best way to bring happiness to humans is to reconstruct their world for the better." Green eyes turned to her. "Do you agree?"

Did she?

After destroying another enemy platoon, they continued to run, until the door was spotted.

"That's the entrance to the server room." Yagami told him.

"It looks like Ban's group hasn't gotten there yet." Jin stated.

"Protect the room until the professor arrives!"

"Got it."

The man opened the door and they pressed themselves against the wall. Peeking in, they found the room dark and empty.

"It seems like there are no enemies here." He muttered.

"Jin!"

He turned to find the brunette and the rest running in. "We just got here too."

"Right. I'll begin the salvage now." The professor sat at one of the computers. The holographic screen popped up as his son informed those at Seeker Base of their status. After only a few minutes of searching, results began to show. "I found the data from that day!"

"These are the blueprints?" Kazu wondered.

"Since I deleted the data, they've been transformed into simple number sequences." Multiple tabs were opened, showing random sets of numbers scrolling down. "They're mixed in with various other data that was deleted that day. We have to salvage the blueprint data from this mess." He asked Ban for his Ikaros Zero and copied the data into it.

Ban let out a grin. "Now we just need Professor Oozora to restore the data!"

"I'll completely annihilate this data so that Mizel can't get a hold of it." And so he did. "Now, the blueprint data exists only within Ikaros Zero."

"We must escape at once." Yagami reminded.

They started heading for the front door, only to be intercepted by the Killer Droid Pegasus. A Vector then jumped down and seized control of the beast. Its core opened and they were trapped in its field.

The droid was first to attack. It leapt and shot at them from above, hitting them all at once. When it landed, they aimed for its legs, hoping to immobilize it. They charged after it one at a time, firing from all sides. As Ikaros Zero distracted the beast, General managed to get to high ground and shot at Vector, however, it wasn't effective, and the droid knocked the entire building away, breaking General over.

Achilles Deed continued to shoot from above, keeping it grounded. Triton leapt and aimed its hammer at Vector as well, but was blocked and punched away. In that instance, Ikaros Zero landed a proper hit, and Vector began sparking.

"What?"

"Let's try a double attack again!"

"Okay! Kazu, Ami, back us up!"

"Right!"

"Leave it to us!"

Pandora and Achilles Deed fired from opposite sides, distracting the beast, while both Triton and Ikaros Zero aimed for the Vector with their close-ranged weapons. Sparks flew from the black LBX, but it was still strong enough to push them both away. The droid then leapt and landed on Ikaros Zero, not letting it escape.

"Why won't it destroy it?" Yagami asked.

The professor's eyes widened. "It must be aiming after the copied data!"

Ban felt panic rising the longer his LBX stayed there. "He knows about the AX-000!"

"We won't let you take them!" Triton led Pandora and Achilles Deed for a combo attack.

Achilles Deed took the first shot, making it flinch. Then Triton did a bait attack, leaving Pandora to make a clean hit on Vector. It started sparking even more.

"Now!"

"Demonic Mode."

Kazu's CCM expanded and his LBX glowed dark red.

"Hissatsu Function!"

"Attack Function, Black Storm."

The hit caused Vector to break over and left the Killer Droid Pegasus sparking.

"Jin, finish it off!"

He didn't need to be told twice. "Hissatsu Function!"

"Attack Function, Ocean Blast."

The droid was destroyed and the field disappeared. Ban grabbed his Ikaros Zero from off the ground and they all ran out of the facility.

Arriving at TokioSiA, they headed down the elevator. Once inside the actual base, Ban handed his LBX over to Professor Oozora, who took it kindly and left with Professor Yamano to begin the data recovery.

"Huh?" Ami blinked as she looked around. "Where's Takuya-san? And Eva?"

"Oh, he went back to Tiny Orbit." Mano explained.

"He said he was gonna get ready to make the AX-000." Yakabe stated.

"And Eva's currently asleep in the next room." Hosoi added.

Ami gave a nod. "I see."

Jin felt a small weight lifting off his chest. "She's resting then. That's good."

Yagami turned to a subordinate behind him. "Tell Tiny Orbit that we have returned."

"Understood."

Then, a call came in. Hiro's face appeared on screen and he was more than glad to find them already back at base. He informed them of his group's success and said that they will be returning to Japan as soon as possible.

"Thank god..." Ami's smiled quickly turned to a frown. "But this just proves that all we can do to protect the world from Mizel is to recover the places he took over one by one..."

"You're right..." Jin agreed.

"Yagami-san," The subordinate from earlier suddenly spoke up. "I can't establish a connection with president Uzaki."

"What?"

"Secretary Kirino is unavailable as well."

"Continue attempting to contact them." He ordered.

"Yes!"

Suddenly, beeping came from the main monitor. Mano informed that it was from Tiny Orbit's emergency lines. Yagami quickly ordered for her to let it through, but they couldn't get a clear visual.

A voice could be heard, but it was constantly being cut off. "This is... Tiny Or...Yuuki! ... We have an emergency! ... Tiny Orbit was attacked by Vector... and got taken over...!"
