The android took its time to get to the diorama. Once they were standing just across each other, he spoke. "This is your end."

Jin cast a glance at the brunette. "Ban, go ahead. I'll take him down." Ban was hesitant, but he eventually went along with the idea. He gave Evangeline a look and she nodded. He held back a sigh before turning back to the old man. "Your opponent is me."

"Jin, you're still opposing me?"

"You're not my grandfather. You're just a puppet! Zenon!"

"Gekkoumaru!"

Jin's eyes narrowed at this. "Gekkoumaru is my grandfather's LBX. I won't let you soil his name anymore!"

As the battle began, Evangeline's eyes glowed. She sent the image to the control room, and stopped when she noticed the cameras around them rotating. With this, the entire crew will see the truth.

"I'll end both you and the Innovators!" Zenon began to go on the attack, but Gekkoumaru was able to push it back with a single hit.

"Gekkoumaru is invincible."

No matter how hard he tried, Jin was unable to land a single hit. He can read Zenon's movements. Is it because he took the data from the fight with Kaiser? Zenon was sent flying once again. "No, it's not just that. Is Gekkoumaru that much stronger than Kaiser?"

They continued to clash, but Gekkoumaru was going at a much faster speed. It managed to escape Zenon's attack and came at it from behind, knocking it off the ground. Zenon, not given a chance to recover, just managed to barely block his next attack. "Speed, power... You are inferior in every way. You cannot win against me."

"Attack Function, Gekka Ranbu."

Its sword took out Zenon's left arm. "It's over."

"Not yet."

"Hm?"

Zenon slowly, but surely stood up. "I won't give up to the very end. That's what Ban taught me!"

"Nothing you do will help." Gekkoumaru began its attack streak, but Zenon wasn't taking as much damage as it used to. After attacking so many times, but not breaking over, the android too began to realize.

Zenon's off balance, so Gekkoumaru can't get a clean hit. Evangeline smiled. This was all he needed to turn things around.

"I was lucky to lose that arm." Jin stated. "You can't predict Zenon's movements accurately now that its balance has changed." Zenon continuously dodged all of Gekkoumaru's attacks.

The android narrowed its eyes. "Reopening analysis."

"It's too late for that!"

"Alternative Mode."

His CCM opened and a screen was projected above it, much like when Ban activated V-Mode. Zenon glowed blue and began to attack as fast as it could. Evangeline watched as each attack caused the android to malfunction further.

"Be gone!"

"Attack Function, Omega Explosion."

The attack dealt great damage, not only to the LBX, but to the android itself. Its head seemed to have overheated and it fell to its knees. It turned to the boy and reached its hand out. "Jin. Jin. Jin..." Its exposed optic died out.

Jin stood in front of the fallen robot. "Kaidou Yoshimitsu. I haven't forgiven you for what you've done. But thanks to the LBX you gave me, I was able to find what is precious to me. Those are my friends."

Evangeline bit her lip and went to his side. After a moment of thought, she bowed. "I know that none of you actually cared about what happens to me, but... Thank you for giving me another chance to live." She stood straight and took a deep breath. "As opposed to what the Innovators had done, I'll use this ability you gave me to help and save others."

Jin placed a hand on her shoulder. His expression was still, but his eyes seemed to say that he was proud of her. It would take a lot of time to heal from this, but they'll make it somehow. Their tender moment couldn't last long as LBXs began to chase after them from below the stairs.

Evangeline's eyes narrowed. "Dreamer!" Her LBX stood its ground right by the edge of the stairs. She cast a glance at the boy. "Find Ban. Zenon's taken a ton of damage already, so there's no way it'll last against that army."

"But-"

"I literally just said that I'll use my abilities to help others." Her eyes glinted playfully as Dreamer began to attack. "Don't steal my thunder!"

Jin could only sigh. "I trust you. Stay safe." And reluctantly, he ran ahead.

She let out a sigh of her own. "Now then,"

"Fairy Mode."

Her eyes glowed bright red and her CCM expanded. "After witnessing that battle, the Innovators are bound to have surrendered. That means that all of you are automatically functioning." Dreamer glowed white. "AI versus AI... Let's see which one of us will last."

Jin ran through a series of dimly lit corridors. His thoughts kept going back to the blonde he left behind, but he didn't stop. He said he trusts her, so he will. He kept on going until he reached a dead end.

Footsteps were heard and he turned to find Professor Yamano. The man turned to him before making a call through his earpiece. "Ban, it's me. Stop Hiyama. You can do that, right, Ban?" After he hung up, he turned back to the boy. "Jin, let's go. There's something else we have to do. Eva is waiting for us in the control room."

"Evangeline?" He felt relief wash over him. There was nothing to worry about. The professor ran ahead and he turned to the door before catching up. It's in your hands, Ban.

As they headed for their destination, the professor made a call to Ban's closest friends. They had both made it to Eclipse safely with Kamiya Kousuke in tow and are now worried about Ban. The professor reassured them that Ban would be fine, adding that he is the only one who could stop Lex.

At the control room, they found Mano, Yakabe and Evangeline waiting for them. Jin went to check on his friend immediately. She gave him a small smile in return.

"I don't battle often, but that doesn't make me a beginner." She reassured him that she was completely fine. "I got through just around the time the professor came in. He told me to come here and help."

Mano looked up at the professor. "We've hacked into the system."

"Alright. I'll do the rest." He took the seat.

"The self-destruct program, huh?" Yakabe muttered.

"It's all we've got. There's no other choice." Mano retorted.

They waited for the professor's son to contact them, as the program could only be activated from the cockpit. And they didn't have to wait long.

"Dad, can you hear me?"

"Ban, are you safe?!"

"Yeah."

"I see. Great."

Hearing that, they all let out silent cheers.

"I'm in front of the console. What do I do?"

"Put Odin on the console."

"Alright." There was a brief silence before his voice returned. "Some program came out."

"It's the self-destruct program." The professor continued the work on his end of the line. "Have it hack into Saturn and activate it. The activation password is 'hope'."

"Hope... Alright."

After a moment of silence, the entire area was lit by red lights. The professor ordered him to leave immediately and he led the group back to Eclipse as well.

Spotting the end of the Harpoon, Yakabe cheered. "We made it!"

"Everyone, hurry!" Yagami ordered.

Jin stopped in front of him. "Is Ban back?"

Before the auburn haired man could reply, the professor did. "Ban will be fine. We should hurry in." A nod came from Yagami.

They all went through the Harpoon to get to Eclipse, and after receiving a call from Lex saying that he an Ban are on board, they flew off, away from the range of the explosion. Ban came into the cockpit soon after, informing them that Lex didn't make it after all.

"We're almost there." The boy stated as they continue their walk across town.

The girl beside him giggled. "It's funny how we're coming back twice after saying that we wouldn't be."

"Would you rather we don't?"

"I didn't say that." She hummed in delight. "Still, to think you suggested staying in a villa. I never expected that."

"I think... we both deserve to relax after this. After all this..." He sighed. "I'm sorry."

That made her stop. "For what?"

"For not realizing sooner. The experiments and all the terrible things he did to you for the past eight years we've been living together... I knew that Kamiya and the others in charge of the labs didn't like you, Evangeline, but I never thought-"

She placed a hand on his shoulder to stop him. His eyes met hers and they looked for any sign of resentment, but there were none. Instead, she smiled. "I never blamed you for any of that, but if you feel that bad about it, you can do one thing to make it up to me."

"Which is...?"

Her grin widened. "Call me 'Eva', like you used to. Like everyone else does now."

He let out a small smile. "If that's what you want, Eva." His gaze turned to the fortress in front of them. "We're here."

"Mmhm." She opened the gate and went to the front door, knocking on it. "Jiiya! We're back." "We made it back."

A chuckle could be heard from the side of the garden. Their butler came out, carrying a trolley with bags on top. "Young Master Jin and Lady Evangeline. Welcome home. Are you both ready for the trip?"

They turned to each other before smiling at the man. "Yes!"
