An ability to predict the future... Eva continued to stare at Hiro's back as they entered the Duck Shuttle. That sure would come in handy, if he had control over it. She shook her head. It was plenty helpful already, seeing how it brought to light the new issue at hand.

Moreover, the thing she should pay more attention to now is why his mother kept stealing glances at her. She seemed as though she wanted to say something to her, but before she could ask, Cobra let out an exclamation of victory.

"Hm? Cobra managed to win in a hacking match against the legendary super-hacker Otacross?" Ami teased.

"Ami-tan! Please don't look at me like that!" He shook his fist in anger. "It's only natural that he'd be faster with Professor Yamano's help!"

"S-Shut up! At any rate, this is the surveillance footage from the HQ's security cameras." Cobra sent the image to display on Otacross' screen, Ban and Hiro heading in for a closer look.

"It's the president and Director Kaios..."

"So Gardyne's serious about reactivating Paradise from here."

Jessica's eyes narrowed. "He's gotta be crazy. He's abandoning his citizens... No, the entire world!"

Takuya blinked as he stared at the screen. "The man at the very back... He's Omega Dain's commander, Alan Worthen's right hand man, Bishop. Why's he here?" Right at that moment, his phone rang. He headed for the back of the room to take it, and before long, his shocked tone resounded across the room. He turned back to them with a grim expression. "That was Yagami. Alan Worthen's been murdered."

"Eh?!"

Kazu's eyes narrowed. "What's happening? The boss gets murdered but his right hand man's with Gardyne?"

"So he killed Alan Worthen?" Yuuya tried to reconfirm.

"I don't know. But I can't think of Bishop as anything but Gardyne's spy now."

Eva wandered around the airship in their free time. Truthfully, she had been looking for Professor Oozora, but decided against confronting her when she found her spending time with her son.

Having a family sure looks nice... The thought made her sigh. It had been a long while since she last step foot in Japan, but now she was missing the memorial. And with the lack of a lab-like environment surrounding her, she found herself missing her brother more than she had been since last year.

"Eva." She snapped her head up to meet with narrowed red eyes. "You've been standing there for a while. Is there something wrong?"

She blinked. Had she really? "No, I was... I was just thinking about Tokio City... the memorial by the bridge."

His gaze softened at that. "Your brother?"

She gave him a nod. "Yeah. Ever since meeting Hiro's mom, I... I can't help but feel like they're similar somehow. Not to mention she kept sending me glances every once in a while."

"You should talk to her after the mission then."

Another nod. "I intend to. It's just... She and Hiro just reunited after a long time. I think I should let them have some time for themselves first." She sighed. "Jin, do you... How do you miss someone you barely know? The bridge incident was 10 years ago, we hardly remember our families' faces, and yet..."

"It is the way it is." Another way of saying he didn't know the answer. "But if it'll ease your mind, we could go back to Japan once this is over."

She smiled. "I'd like that." He returned it with his own.

It was at that moment his CCM rang, interrupting the moment. Begrudgingly, he answered it. "Ban?"

"Jin, we're meeting in the briefing room."

His eyes narrowed at that. "Alright." He gave her a nod and they headed to the designated room.

"Now that we've established that Gardyne is behind everything, it's all starting to come together." Professor Yamano began. "Everything I did as Detector was to alert you about Paradise. In those assumptions, I was able to notice the plan to assassinate the president at Artemis. I couldn't prevent it alone. Ban and Hiro saved us."

Ban's eyes widened in realization. "You mean... You were the one that made those enemies underwater explode?"

"That's right."

"We were led to believe that Omega Dain and Gardyne had contact for a quite a while before that incident." Takuya stated.

Jin turned to Yuuya. "Oh, yeah. So back then, he... If only we'd notice him then."

Eva blinked at that. "Noticed him when?"

"To put it shortly, Takuya-san, Ban, Yuuya and I went to see if there was a commanding computer in Omega Dain and we met Gardyne there."

"But to think that Hiyama was alive..." Professor Yamano muttered. "Gardyne must've used Hiyama by taking advantage of his hate of the world. A prime example of that is Killer Droid. That monster is hatred itself. When I saw the Killer Droid for the first time in Brinton, that hatred horrified me. However, I knew I was reaching my limits in fighting alone, and unmasked myself in Canberrun."

"But Professor," Takuya interrupted. "Once, Detector announced the Brainjacking like usual while you were with Ban and the others. Who was behind the mask then?"

"That was a recording, of course." Kazuya spoke up. "I broadcasted it."

"So at that point, you were already working with him."

"Yeah."

"Then why'd you sent all those LBXs to raid us?" Ran asked.

"No, that wasn't me."

"Omega Dain orchestrated that." Professor Yamano said. "They were aiming to shake Detector."

"For now, we should focus on cornering Gardyne." Cobra stated. "We don't know what he's going to do next."

"It'll be alright." Hiro said, standing up. "We're all here together. No matter what happens, we can't lose. Jessica!" He turned to the blonde before continuing. "We'll save both the director and the president!" She gave a determined nod.

The small automaton pilot suddenly appeared on screen. "We'll be entering the National Defense HQ's radar area shortly-mo!"

Takuya turned to the hacker. "Otacross."

"Of course, here it is!" He pulled out a tablet. "I've mapped out a route that'll keep us from being detected by the radar." The image appeared on the larger screen.

"I see, we're going by canyon. So we're going to fly through these crevices."

"That's right!"

"Alright. Operation, begin!"

"Yes!"

They all got strapped in their seats, preparing for the rough flight. The automaton managed to narrowly miss every pillar and slit they came across and professionally landed in the safe zone. As soon as they landed, Takuya informed them of the enemy already headed their way. Ban, Hiro and Ran acted fast and intercepted them with their own LBXs. Once that was taken care of, they met up outside with Otacross, Professor Oozora and Eva staying behind to find their way through.
