Kaidou Jin:

We went to the Innovator's Research Lab using Takuya's car. Evangeline haven't let go of my hand all day. I didn't mind it though, after all, she had a rough night.

Flashback~

". . . Alright. You'll come with us... With me." I said to her. She just barely nodded and fell asleep.

I was about to leave, but she grabbed my hand. "Don't go... Don't go... brother..."

Brother? I shook my head. No, she's just dreaming. But I can't leave with her gripping on to me like this... I sighed and laid down on the bed.

Her grip tighthened and she flinched multiple times. "Brother... brother... Hugo..."

I stayed there for a while and ended up sleeping myself.

Flashback End~

We reached the forest and got out of the car. We started walking towards the Innovator's Research Lab and ended up stopping by a wide lake.

"This is the entrance to the Innovator's Research Lab?" Ban asked.

"There's nothing here." Ami commented.

"Are we going to swim in that?" Kazuya complained.

"The water is just a hologram." Rina stated.

"Hologram?!" Ban asked surprised.

"Yeah." I nodded. "They're hiding the facility by using an image that depicts water."

"He's right!" Kazuya said, touching it. "It's completely fake!"

"Let's go." Takuya said.

He led the way into the facility. We started looking for the control systems of Saturn. When we got to a certain door, Rina hacked it so we could get in. We ran in and saw Saturn up close.

"This is Saturn..." Ban nuttered. "We can't just let this take off. No way ever."

"Let's hurry!" Takuya said. We ran through the corridors, being careful not to be noticed.

We stopped at another door. "This elevator should take us to the control room on the 6th level underground." Rina said.

"Let's go straight to the control room." Takuya said. We nodded. We went into the elevator and started heading downwards to the control room.

Then, alarms went off. "Saturn will launch in 15 minutes. Please stop your tasks and head for the exit immediately."

We got off the elevator and started running through the corridors until we're just outside the control room. Then i saw a shilloutte.

I grabbed Ban's shoulder. "Watch out!" We stopped running right before the shilloutte hit him.

"What's wrong?" He asked. He still hasn't noticed?

I let go off Evangeline's hand and took out my CCM. "Enemies. Zenon, go!"

I sent out Zenon, but the enemy disappeared. We backed into a corner and looked for the enemy LBX. The LBX appeared again and we gasped at what we saw.

"Fairy!" Ban excalimed.

I started to attack but Fairy keeps dodging and it disappeared again.

"It ran away?" Takuya asked.

"No, it's still here." I told him. I looked back just in time to dodge the gunfire from Fairy.

"Saturn is loaded with these Fairy models." Takuya stated.

"The completed version of AX-00 combined with Dreamer's design." I muttered aloud.

"An LBX that evolves as it learns." Ban wondered. "Go, Odin!"

"Fenrir!"

"Pandora!"

We got in position but Fairy disappeared.

"It disappeared again?" Ban said.

"Where is it?" Kazuya asked, looking around.

It re-appeared near by Takuya and Rina and started shooting at us. We jumped out of the way and Ban blocked the shots using his new shield.

"So this is Beam Garter." He complimented.

We started attacking but Fairy keeps on disappearing.

"We'll have to use magnetic field bombs." Kazuya suggested. "Stop its movements."

"Got it." Ami said. Ban and I nodded.

Fairy appeared and started shooting at us again. We dodged it and charged at the LBX. When it jumped out of the way, Fenrir threw the bomb at it, but it only worked for a second before Fairy disappear again.

"What?!" Kazuya said in shock.

"The magnetic field bomb didn't work!" Ban exclaimed.

Fairy started attacking and it blew Fenrir away. "Amazing power, it broke over in one hit." Kazuya commented.

"What a monster!" Ami said.

We attacked again but Fairy was fast enough to hit Pandora, causing it to break over. All that's left are Zenon and Odin. Odin started attacking aimlessly.

"Ban, it's pointless to attack randomly." I told him.

"I know, but..." He trailled off.

"Just don't give it a chance to disappear." I stated.

"Alright, I'll try." He said.

We attacked again and again, not giving it a chance to escape or disappear.

"Their combination is awesome." Ami complimented us.

"This should do it." Kazuya said confidently.

Fairy's eyes blinked red and it movements are a lot faster and stronger now.

"Fairy's movements changed!" Kazuya exclaimed.

"It's an evolving LBX." Ami said.

"Yeah." Ban said.

"It's analyzing us." I said.

"Damn it, can't we do anything?!" Kazuya complained.

"Ban, Jin! The shadow!" Ami suddenly shouted out. "Look at the shadow at its feet! Even if it disappears, it can't hide it's shadow!"

"I see." Ban said.

"Yeah." Now we can start the counter attack. I attacked the shadow and landed the hit on Fairy.

"It hit! This will work!" Kazuya said.

"There!" Odin landed another hit.

We attacked it again and again.

"Attack Function, Gungrir."

"Attack Function, Break Gazer."

"Attack Function, Infinite Blade."

Dreamer appeared out of nowhere and hit Fairy, causing it to break over.

"Eh?" Kazuya said, his eyes blank. "How did... When did you join the battle?"

Evangeline cast a glance at him and called back Dreamer. "When Ami mentioned the word 'shadow'. Besides, that thing is based off of Dreamer's design. I can't just sit back while the Innovators use copies of my LBX for their bidding."

"Then why didn't you join from the start?" Kazuya kept asking.

"I was timing its movements. Enough about that. Let's go stop Saturn already." She said, walking to the door. She was quiet since last night, not to mention her eyes had darken.

"She's a complicated one..." Kazuya muttered.

"She doesn't trust people easily I take it." Ami said. I didn't comment.

"Even so, we still did it!" Ban cheered.

"Saturn is loaded with these LBXs..." Ami trailled.

"And they're equipped with micro-sized megaton bombs." Rina finished.

Alarms started going off again. "Saturn will launch momentarily. Please stop your tasks and take shelter as soon as possible."

"We don't have time. Let's go!" Takuya said.

We ran to the door and entered the control room. Evangeline was already inside and she was looking at the large screen on the other side of the room.

"Looks like no one's here." Takuya said.

"No time to spare." Rina said. "Let's hurry into Saturn's controls."

Ban and i stepped onto the platform and stood beside Evangeline.

"Three minutes before Saturn launches." Evangeline muttered.

"Something wrong?" I asked.

She narrowed her eyes. "Too easy..."

Ban reverted his gaze towards us. "What do you mean?"

Evangekine shook her head. "Forget it. It's nothing."

Takuya and Rina hacked into the systems but the systems were locked down. All the computers blinked red and we were locked in. Ami tried contacting Eclipse but it wouldn't connect either.

Then, Lex's face appeared on the screen. "Like it?"

"Lex!" Ban cheered.

"This is just a little present from me." Lex said over the screen. "That door won't open until everything has ended. Watch as the world channges in your VIP seats."

"Lex, what are you saying?" Ban asked.

Lex laughed slightly. "You don't get it yet?" He gave a straight face. "You've all acted exactly according to my scenario."

What?! "So this was a trap after all..." Evangeline stated aloud.

"Using the Platinum Capsule and Metanus GX, I had the Seekers and Innovators fight it out." Lex explained with a devilish smirk. "It's pretty amusing watching you guys running around thinking you were fighting for the faith of the world." He didn't...

"Were you the one who was controlling the android of my grandfather?!" I asked, anger and grief filling up inside me.

"Yeah, it was me." Lex replied casually. He revealed what happened right after Artemis ended while Evangeline and I stared at him with shock, anger and pain.

"Grandfather..." I don't know what to think, but Evangeline cut me off from doing so.

"Were you the one who told Kamiya Kousuke to give me thay flashdrive about the Tokio Bridge incident that happened 9 years ago?" She asked.

Lex nodded. "I figured it's time you know the truth about Kaidou. I gave that to android Kaidou, who gave it to Kamiya, who gave it to his son, who gave it to you."

"So I see... And you know my brother pretty well I take it." She said aloud.

Lex laughed and nodded. "He helped Professor Yamano to develop the LBX. I myself don't know him that well but Ban's father sure does."

"Hugo..." She looked down at the floor. I placed a hand on her shoulder and she swallowed hard. Somehow we ended up hand in hand again but we both know that we needed it.

"Lex..." Ban called.

"30 seconds left until launch..." Evangeline whispered, loud enough for only me to hear. I just barely nodded.

"Hiyama, why are you doing this?!" Takuya asked angrily.

"I wanted to see if this world was worth risking the lives of people." Lex replied.

"What?!" Takuya's anger turned shock.

"But it isn't." Lex continued. "This tainted world has no value. Therefore, everything needs to be redone. I'll create the opportunity for that to happen." 3 seconds left... 2... 1...

The ground shook for a brief moment. When it stopped, the computers were no longer on system lock down... Meaning that the rocket has launched.

"How can this be happening?" Takuya wondered aloud.

"This will change the world..." Lex stated.

"Hiyama!" Rina called. "Saturn is nothing but a devil's weapon that'll destroy the world."

"Yeah, I know." Lex told her.

"Then why?" Takuya asked. "What caused you to hate the world this much?!"

"I'm about to come up there and finish the project." Lex said.

"Wait, Hiyama!" Takuya called. "You really intend to run the Fairytale Project?!"

"I don't have any interest in the Innovator's project." He said. "I have my own project."

Kazuya and Ami started finding ways to open the locked door.

"Hiyama, just what do you want?" Takuya asked.

"What does it matter to you?" Lex replied with another question. "You guys can't do anything now."

"No, that's not true!" Ban said aloud.

"Ban," He called. "What do you think you can do?"

"I..." Ban started. "I won't give up until the very end!"

"It's all too late." Lex said, unfased. "Give up and just watch."

"I won't give up either." Kazuya muttered. Right before he punched the door, someone opened it.

"Dad!" Ban called. The rest of us stared in surprise.

"So you showed up, Professor Yamano." Lex called. Professor Yamano walked in as the two stared at each other intensely.
