Kaidou Jin:

After leaving the laboratory, we started sneaking our way to the bridge. Hiro was slightly distracted but we can't blame him.

Suddenly, all the lights turned yellow and red as alarms sounded throughout the ship. We started running towards the bridge, only to be stopped at a metal door.

"There's a panel here that can operate this door." Yuuya called.

"I guess we'll have to get rid of this lock." Cobra said. He started hacking.

I walked closer. "If you don't hurry, the other LBXs will-"

"I know, i know!" Cobra scowled.

Hiro would sigh to himself every once in a while so I walked over to him. "Hiro."

"Still not done yet?" Yuuya asked.

"Shut up, will you?!" Cobra scolded.

Eva and I ignored it and focused on Hiro. "Mom's been like that ever since I was little." He said. "There were a lot of times where she'd get absorbed in her work, leaving me alone in the house. This happened a pretty long time ago, but... I decided that, if Mom ever get caught up in her work, then I wouldn't get in her way. Because I love her."

"That way of thinking is pretty admirable." Eva commented with a sad smile. I nodded slightly as Hiro faced us with a surprised look.

I looked up at the ceiling and started to recall that day. "I lost my parents in the Tokio Bridge Collapse incident. I would have wanted to be with my mom."

Eva faced him. "I lost my brother in the same incident. He took care of me for as long as I lived..." She looked down. "And now, I can just barely remmember what he looks like..."

I faced him. "Hiro, i think your mom truly wants to spend time with you."

Then he got a call from her. "Hiro, I never thought I'd get lectured by you. Even though it must've been tough being left alone, you've been fighting for the world this whole time with all your might. I was surprised. I'll stop Adam and Eve. I'm powering down the systems now. Though there's a shutdown prevention system and lock in place, so it might take a while. I was wrong. I'm sorry Hiro."

"I'm glad as long as you understand." Hiro replied happily.

I cut into their conversation. I know it's rude, but still. "Can you stop Paradise with that computer?"

"Adam and Eve are only there to support Paradise's functions." She explained. "Only the control center in the bridge can stop it."

"But the way to the bridge is blocked." Yuuya protested.

Suddenly, the lights went back to normal and the door opened. "Will this do?"

"Thanks!" Hiro said to his mom. "Let's hurry to the bridge." We started running our way through the halls.

"Personally, if things hadn't worked out for us, I would've just gone for the red wire..." Eva laughed, still running.

"That doesn't always work, you know." Cobra scowled.

"Yeah, yeah." She really is easy-going nowadays. Wonder what happened... Oh well, this is a good change so I won't question it.

I stopped when i got a video link from Ban's group and saw the last man i had expected to see here. "Lex?!"

Eva froze in place and came up next to me. "That's... I-it can't be..."

"What's wrong?" Yuuya asked.

Hiro went over as well. "Lex was one of your acquaintance, the man who..."

I nodded. "Yeah. He was the ring leader of the group that attempted to terrorize the world summit meeting."

"B-but, he couldn't be alive..." Eva muttered. "He should've gone down in Saturn's explosion!"

Evamgeline Mech:

Panic. That was all I can feel. Everything else was a blur. I can't think straight. My mind reverted back to last year, when everything changed. Innovators... Platinum Capsule... Eternal Cycler... Kaidou Yoshimitsu... Saturn... Fairy... Everything.

We kept running towards the bridge where the control center is. I can't stop my mind from swirling. All I know is that Jin was pulling me along while the others lead the way. I wish I wasn't so weak.

We're running up the steps with Cobra trailing behind us. "The bridge is right at the top of these stairs."

Then, we saw a bunch of LBXs blocking the way. "Looks like we can't get to the bridge that easy." Yuuya commented.

"They're trying to protect the control center at all cost." Jin added.

"Let's blow through them in one go." Hiro said, taking out his CCM. "Perseus!"

"Triton!"

"Liu Bei!"

I took a deep breath and called out my LBX. "Twilight!"

After a few attacks, we got through them easily and continue heading to the bridge. Even so, we were blocked again.

"They keep coming." Yuuya marked.

"But we can't help but press forward." Hiro stated. He called Perseus and started attacking again.

Yuuya narrowed his eyes. "I'm going in too."

"Wait!" Jin exclaimed. He was going to say something until Cobra cut him off.

"Hey, hey, hey!" More LBXs were coming from the bottom of the steps. He jumped up and grab hold of the pole. "D-don't come close!" The rest of us were backed into a corner, literally.

"We're completely surrounded." Yuuya said.

"You don't say..." I muttered. While Perseus was alone in a circle of enemy LBXs, Triton, Liu Bei and Twilight were backed up to a wall.

Then there was a sudden laser blast that destroyed at least half of all the enemy there. "Vampire Cat!" Hiro exclaimed.

Jeanne D and Minerva appeared behind Vampure Cat and attacked the ememy as well. Jeanne D helped out Perseus while Minerva helped out Triton, Liu Bei and Twilight.

"Sup!" Asuka called as she and Jessica and Ran caught up to us.

"Alright." Jin said in relief. "Beat them all at once!"

We started the counter attack and destroyed the enemy LBXs in no time at all.

"We did it!" Hiro cheered.

Jin's face turned serious. "Ban and the others must be worried. We have to hurry!"

Niara Levanov:

And again, we met up, but this time it's in the computer lab. "Still looking for things about Dr. Mummy, huh?"

"Haven't you been doing the same thing?" He retorted, bot taking his eyes of the screen.

"I still can't believe you have the guts to break in here without permission." I told him.

"You're in here too." He snorted.

My face flushed in embarresment. "W-whatever. Stupid curiosity got the best of me..." I muttered.

"So this is it..." He suddenly muttered.

"What is?" I asked, leaning closer to the screen.

"Dr. Mummy. True identity, Hiyama Ren. The man called Lex..." He muttered. "And in the end, the one who brought him over was Worthen."

My eyes widen. "How did you find this?"

"It's called 'hacking'. Ever heard of it Levanov?" He retorted sarcastically.

I shook my head. "I can't believe I'm part of this..."

"No one ever asked you to mind my business." He replied, scrolling down. His eyes then widen. "What?!"

I jumped at the sudden freak. "What happened?" I scanned the screen. "Oh... Woah... I never imagined that..."

"So that man was..." He trailled. He then smirked. "The terrorist, Hiyama Ren, and the commander of Omega Dain, Alan Worthen. These two men were connected to him?" He started laughing in a creepy way. "It'd be a big problem for Omega Dain if this got out to the public." Then he turned off the computer. "Maybe I'll go see Worthen. If I use this against him, he'll have no choice but to accept my request."

He walked out and I followed him, unsure of what to think. Omega Dain had helped me when I was younger. To be more specific, Mr. Worthen helped.

Flashback~

"Mom...? Dad...?" I warped myself in my jacket as the blizzard keeps raging on. "Where are you...?!"

Everything was cold. I felt my body turn numb as I feel into a black abyss.

When I woke up, I found myself in some kind of hospital room. "How did I...?"

"I see you're awake, child." I jumped in surprised and saw a man walking in.

"I am Alan Worthen, the commander of Omega Dain." He said. "I found you and brought you here to the clinic we have." He sat down beside the bed. "It was impressive that you survived the blizzard. Someone with that kind of strenght has great potential you know." He took out an LBX. "At the moment, we are helping you find your parents, so why don't you stay? We'll notify you when we find anything."

Flashback End~

I've stayed in Omega Dain for 6 years and they still haven't told me anything. Could he just be lying to make me a test player for him?

I growled at myself for being so gullible. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Kirito have a point of being aware about Omega Dain's plans.
