There was a little wolf that strayed far from his den. He couldn't find his way back and cried for his sisters and brothers. It soon became night so he decided to stop and rest under a weeping willow tree.

In the morning a little monkey started to laugh, which startled the little wolf in his sleep. Little wolf growled and little monkey jumped off of the tree and landed swiftly next to little wolf.  "What is your name little wolf?" little monkey asked.

"Neros... And yours little monkey?" little wolf answered.

"I am Jenny! The most spirited of my tree dwelling families!" little monkey squeaked.

Neros and Jenny traveled together and got to know one another. The terrain changed into sticks and became much damper. Hollow branches stood high above Neros and Jenny's heads.

Suddenly a little black and white bear crawled toward them. Jenny shouted out in glee, "Oh! Look it's a little panda! They are rare and much fun to be with! Hello, little panda, what is your name?" Little panda looked at Jenny with watery eyes.

"My name is Kin... I am all alone! A hunter killed my mommy and I am very scared."

"It's ok! I am Neros! I am a wolf! I will protect you!" Neros proclaimed.

"And I am Jenny I will keep you company," Jenny grabbed Kin and they went deeper or further away from the forest.

The ground began to get rough and then smooth. It was pavement and there were houses in the distance. "We are lost," cried Kin.

"No, we are not! I will find our way let's turn back," Neros reassured . Before they could turn to the forest a petite calico cat stood in their way.

"Hello I am Soren! I know where u guys can find a river! Follow me!" the kitten mewed.

They followed and introduced one another on the way. They heard a roaring of water and made their way to the gigantic river that Soren told them about. "Who's hungry?" Soren asked.

"Me!" the rest of them shouted. Soren smiled and walked to the edge of the river. He stuck his claws out and caught four plump salmon.

They ate and smiled. "Let's always stay together and protect one another forever," Kin suggested.

"Yes, best friends for life," Jenny flipped in amusement.

"I will become strong for you my new family," Neros howled.

"I am happy to be with such a cute bunch of friends," Soren mewed.
