On with the story!

The look on Tucker's face almost made Danny burst out laughing. Almost. But I guess if your best friend showed you their seven-foot-tall green-and-black wolf ghost monster with a ripped up hoodie and eight-inch-long claws you would be pretty terrified too.

"This...is your friend?.." Tucker choked out when he finally managed to get his mouth closed. "Yeah!" Danny exclaimed. Wulf licked his face, then proceeded to lick a petrified Tucker, who barely managed to not flinch away.

"Ain't he nice?"

"He looks like he could throw a train car through a building and not break a sweat."

"I know! Cool, right?!"

Tucker smiled slowly, as Wulf licked his face yet again, leaving a slimy green trail of ectoplasm behind to drip off his cheek.

"Gross, but cool."

Danny huffed in relief, glad his friend warmed up to Wulf so quickly. It was hard not to for a seven-year-old kid living in the boring, uneventful town of Amity Park anyway.

"Do ya know any more ghosts?" Tucker asked Danny, patting Wulf's muzzle cautiously, then proceeding to take a picture of Wulf's contented face with his PDA. "Well, yeah, of course," Danny replied snarkily. "Wulf can make us a portal and we can see 'em in the Ghost Zone."

Tucker hopped off Danny's bed, halting his nose-pats on the werewolf ghost kneeling beside it. "Well, let's go! This Ghost Zone thing sounds interesting," He said, sounding much more excited than he did that morning when Danny told him that he had some friends to show him.

...

"I thought you said you didn't have any other friends?"

"These ones are secret."

"...are they imaginary?..."

"Of course not! Ask your mommy and daddy if you can come to my house tonight, and I'll show you my friend."

"I still think this friend of yours is imaginary, but ok."

...

Now Tucker knew of course that Danny's friends were quite the opposite of imaginary. And he wanted to meet them all, despite his normally scared disposition. I mean, if Danny wasn't scared of them, why should Tucker be? After all, Wulf seemed pretty nice, even though neither of them could understand what he was saying. Well, Danny could, but only half of the time. (His Esperanto lessons were going well!)

"C'mon, pups, it is time to go," Wulf growled. Danny understood, and gestured Tucker over to Wolf's back.

"Woah..." Tucker breathed for the fourth time in the past five minutes.

He had Woah'd when he hopped on Wolf's back with Danny, he had Woah'd when Wulf turned them both invisible and intangible and started barreling through Danny's neighborhood, he had Woah'd when Wulf used his claws to open a swirling green portal from thin air, and now he stood in awe of the Ghost Zone and all of its creepy glory, Woah-ing again.

"Cool, right?" Danny asked, flashing Tucker a cheeky smile.

"Yeah!!" Tucker yelped back excitedly, snapping out of his reverie and turning towards Danny, grinning from ear to ear.

"This place is like nothing I've ever seen before! Its almost better than meat!! I mean its scary, and cold, but cool too! I mean, look at that...sky? And what's with the floating doors?! I don't see any ghosts floatin' around, but this is just too amazing! I'm gonna take a picture of this on my PDA!!"

And Tucker proceeded to obsessively snap many pictures of the Ghost Zone with it.

"You sure like your PDA a lot," Danny observed. Tucker looked over to Danny in alarm, slapping a hand over his PDA's speakers. "Shhh," Tucker hissed, scurrying over to Danny.

"My PDA's name is Linda and I have a crush on her. She is my one true love, but you can't tell her that yet, ok?" Tucker said, looking absolutely serious.

Danny looked very much weirded out on the outside, but on the inside, he was trying not to laugh, secretly enjoying Tucker's craziness. "Uhhm, ok then," He said and grabbed Tucker's hand, pulling him onto Wulf's back. "Lets go to Clocky's tower. He may be a ghost, like Wulf, but he isn't scary, don't worry. In fact, he's gonna be my new daddy, since mine doesn't take care of me that good..." Danny said that last part sadly. Tucker didn't really know what Danny meant, but he patted him on the back as best he could while trying to hold on to Wulf. "Its okay, its okay," The first-grader reassured his friend. "You got this Clocky guy now right?" Tucker's consolation made Danny smile a bit.

"Yeah, he's a powerful ghost, and he makes good ghost cookies. But don't tell anyone."

"About the powerful-ness, or the cookies?"

"Um...both?"

"Okay. He sounds cool."

"He is, you'll see."

"...Woah!" Tucker Woah'd...again. (But honestly, can you blame the little dude??) "Your dad sure has a cool tower thing."

Danny's mind stuttered for a moment at Tucker casually calling Clocky his dad. I better start doing that too, Danny supposed, or I wont get used to it that good. His heart warmed a little. I can't wait to see what having a dad is really like. Danny had shunned his previous father like it was nothing...it wasn't hard, since Danny had no real memories with him, except for neglect.

"Doesn't that ticking get annoying, though?" Tucker asked as the trio approached the blue door at the top of the Clock Tower. Danny shrugged. The clocks' ticking never got annoying to him, rather, it was almost soothing, like...this is where he was supposed to be. What a cheesy thought. Maybe he just got used to it and didn't find it annoying anymore...but he never found it annoying in the first place?? Hmmm... A nudge from Wulf brought him out of his thoughts and he stumbled into the tower behind Tucker, who was predictably gawking at everything much like Danny had when he first arrived here months ago.

"Ah, Danny...and Tucker, hello," Clockwork greeted them as he rounded a corner. Tucker gaped. "How d'ja know my name?" He asked confusedly. Clockwork just smiled ominously. "I knew you were coming," He said and started to make his way to Mirror Room. "Nice to see you, Little Daniel, I am very glad you made a human friend. If you two are hungry, there is ghost cookies on the counter. If you need anything, you know where I am. And I'm sure Mr. Foley here already knows my name." He finished and was gone.

Tucker was still staring at the corner of the wall where Clockwork just was. "I forgot to tell ya, he can tell the future," Danny whispered to him.

"Huh," Tucker said, crinkling his nose a bit. "That's weird...but cool! Like something out of a sci-fi movie."

"Yeah...want some cookies?"

"Heck yeah!--Wait, where's Wulf?"

Danny looked around, not spotting him. Suddenly his eyes widened in fear. "He must have gone to the kitchen already...he's gonna eat all the cookies!"

And with that, both boys zoomed down the hall like lightning.

Clockwork watched the children go, smiling a bit. He really was happy Danny had found a new, human friend. He needed that interaction with his own kind.

Now, as Danny's father, Clockwork had an obligation to protect him, so he had let one of his old friends in to talk to young Daniel. After all, the more allies in the Ghost Zone, the better. This place was a unruly free-for-all. Even Walker, the prison warden, had a knack for just making everything worse around here. The more Danny's little family here grew, the better. Plus, the kid was having a grand time making ghostly friends. And the ghosts he talked to seemed to take a big liking to the adorable little boy.

Clockwork was fully aware he wouldn't be able to protect Danny on his own forever.

Clockwork only hoped his old acquaintance didn't mess with his son (Clockwork's heart leapt at this thought) too much. The ghost was quite the trickster, after all.

Danny and Tucker watched forlornly as Wulf tossed back his head and slid the rest of the cookies into his mouth.

He chewed slowly, as if savoring the food, which was unlike Wulf. Danny cocked his head, confused. Tucker mostly just looked sad. "But...food," He all but sobbed.

That's when Wulf noticed them standing there in the entrance to the kitchen. Danny started to wave, but stopped when he realized that Wulf was growling at them, low and soft.

"...Wulf?" Danny asked and stepped back a little as Wulf stalked closer. Danny could feel his heart beat a little faster. "You okay?"

Wulf just growled a little louder. Tucker hadn't seemed to notice the dilemma yet, as he was too busy staring at the empty plate of cookies like it had done something unspeakably horrible, like...not have cookies on it.

His hurt expression turned to fear when Danny grabbed his arm and started pulling him away from the now-snarling Wulf. "W-w-what's wrong with him??" Tucker asked fearfully, his round glasses slipping off his nose a bit from sweat.

"I dunno," Danny replied, trying to get his voice steady. "He's never acted like this before..."

"I'm scared! We're gonna die!"

"No we aren't, we just need to...uhm..."

Suddenly, Wulf let out a screaming howl and leapt at them, fangs and claws extended and ready to tear the small boys' flesh.

The two friends screamed and braced themselves...

...but nothing came.

Danny's eyes popped open as he started to hear cackling laughter above them.

Danny looked up to see Wulf laughing his head off, still towering slightly above the two trembling children. A...prank? Danny thought. But Wulf doesn't pull pranks!

"H-hey! What's the big idea?!" He heard Tucker say indignantly, unlatching himself from Danny. "That was s-scary! I thought I was gonna get eaten!"

"I know!! It was hilarious!" Wulf chortled.

Both boys' eyes widened. Danny gaped at Wulf, uncomprehending. "B-but Wulf, I thought you didn't know English?!" Danny asked. Tucker nodded furiously, looking to Danny for a moment for snapping his attention back to Wulf.

Wulf blinked a couple times in confusion, before looking down at himself, nose crinkling. "Oh, I'm still this gross thing? Hold on a moment, fuzzy-wuzzies."

And that's when Danny realized that this Wulf wasn't Wulf at all.

In Wulf's place now stood a strange ghost Danny had never seen before. He was very tall, and wore a long black trenchcoat adorned with four brass buttons and a red belt across the middle. Under the trenchcoat he appeared to be wearing a white button-up shirt and red tie. His...skin? was grey, and a black fedora hat adorned his head. His hands looked like he was wearing gloves, but you could tell they were his actual hands. His face was featureless, except for a pair of red glasses that apparently served as eyes and looked as if they were capable of showing expression.

"Who...are you?" Tucker asked fearfully, as Danny was rendered speechless at the moment.

"Yes, yes, how rude of me not to introduce myself, I am called Amorpho, the shapeshifting ghost," Amorpho said coolly.

"You can change who you look like...THAT'S SO COOL!" Danny yelled suddenly, making Amorpho and Tucker jump slightly. "Yeah..." Tucker said, starting to look excited, the scared expression melting off his face. "Can you turn into me?"

Amorpho looked surprised for a moment, before seeming absolutely gleeful that he was in the spotlight.

"Yes, of course, anything for a fan," He crowed. He winked with his glasses somehow as his body shifted to Tucker's.

"Two Tuckers," Danny mumbled, still in awe.

Tucker's eyes grew as round as saucers. "Woah, so that's what I look like..." He said, adjusting his glasses.

Danny jumped up and down in excitement. "Do me next! Do me do me do me!"

"You got it, fuzzy wuzzy," Amorpho said, still reveling in the attention he was getting.

But before the shapeshifting ghost could so much as twitch, a loud voice boomed throughout the halls.

"HEY, BABYPOP, YOUR BIG SIS IS HERE!! GIVE IT UP FOR EMBERR!!"

So I tried my hand at a cliffhanger...yeah, fail. Lol.

But this ended up being my longest chapter yet! I hope you enjoyed reading.

Yeah, I don't remember the name Tucker had for his PDA in the series, so I just came up with a name for this one...😅

Also, bear with me on typos AMD stuff like that, I edit everything myself and its easy to miss stuff that way, ya know?

But anyway, I hope you're having a good day, and, if you're not, then you can stick it out! I believe in you!

Don't forget to vote if ya liked it!
