Saturday June, 10th.

DESTINY, waved goodbye to her brother for the last time as he got in the car with his friends and drove away.

It was officially Saturday and destiny was no longer on house arrest. Her mother forced her to get on birthday control and grounded her for a week which meant she couldn't leave the house at all.

Tiffany stood in the door frame of the front door and crossed her arms with a lit cigarette in her hands, "Go do something useful make us money kid" she shrugged and walked back into the house.

Destiny stood on the front porch for a couple of minutes in her white baggy pajama pants and her bright red tank top and no shoes, just thinking about everything.

Now she was by herself stuck with her mom she didn't have her brother by her side. And he wouldn't be there for her birthday either due to the fact It was in exactly a week from today and he was going to be gone all summer.

Destiny walked back into the house closing and locking the door behind her and went straight to her room. She knew exactly what she wanted to do.

She opened her closet and grabbed a white cropped top with a brown zip-up jack, tan baggy jeans, and her b&w fucked up converse.

She walked into the bathroom and changed into her clothes. She looked in the mirror at her hair. It was a mess. She didn't have any curly hair products and neither did her mother because she had straight hair.

Destiny put some sink water on her hands and just rubbed it around her hair leaving it down. She looked and shrugged.

She then grabbed her old clothes and walked back into her bedroom throwing the clothes on her bed. Destiny went under her pillowcase and grabbed the money that Brent had given her when they first moved there.

She then grabbed her skateboard and walked towards the front door and left the house. Destiny threw her board on the ground before standing on it and riding deep into the city.

She was heading towards a 99 cent store. She picked up her board and carried it in her right hand as she entered the store.

She walked around glancing at all the hair stuff they had. She had no idea what to get though. She shrugged and grabbed a random product that looked good.

Destiny continued to walk around the store and she saw scissors, she grabbed them as well. After, walking around for a while she went to the front counter and sat her stuff on it.

"is that it?" The cashier asked as he began to scan her items, putting them in a black plastic bag Destiny nodded and took the cash out of her pocket.

"10.38$," The cashier said as Destiny handed him the 20 bill. He gave her the change and she put it in her pocket and grabbed the bag, "thanks" She nodded and walked out of the store.

She threw her board back on the ground and headed towards the direction of Motors hoping the guys would be there.
