"How's the undercover going?"

Yugi asked to Yami. Yami let out a sigh as he looked at his coffee.

"Honestly it's not going easy"

He confessed. Yugi chuckled at his best friend. After the incident between Atem and Yugi, Yugi had to go by another identity to avoid from being found. He's whole attire and style had to change along with everything he was used too.

"Well in this line of work it's never gonna be easy. So I heard that promotion you're getting after this case is over. Are you excited?"

He asked with a smile but soon died as be notice Yami didn't look to happy about it.

"Is something wrong?"

"Yugi, I don't think I can do this anymore"

"What? But you're doing great. What changed?"

He asked in concern. Yami let out a groan as he buried his face into his hands.

"What if we are doing this all wrong"

"What do you mean?"

Yami then pulled his hand away.

"I mean what if Atem isn't the bad guy"

"I'm sorry, I don't think I follow. It's just..."

Yugi said in confusion but soon stop as he looked to his best friend who was looking at him sadly. Yugi gasp in shock.

"No. No Yami come on, you're better than that"

Yugi leaned closer to Yami to make sure no one else was listening or eavesdropping.

"Yami this is serious, you can't be falling in love with a criminal"

"He's not just a criminal Yugi, he's more than that. He didn't choose the life of crime, the life of crime chose him"

Yugi leaned back to his seat in defeat.

"I can't believe what I'm hearing, you're actually defending him"

"I know it's wrong and I'm not asking you to judge me. I just needed to tell someone but you figured it out without me saying it"

Yugi took a deep breathe as he thought for a moment.

"Have you told the boss yet?"

Yami sadly shook his head.

"If I told him then he would have taken me off the case and then Atem's life would be in jeopardy because I couldn't control my fuckin emotions"

He said angrily before taking a deep breathe.

"I just don't know what to do? I just know this is all gonna bite me in the ass once Atem's is taken into custody. He would never speak to me again and then I would just be left heartbroken. I wish I was never picked to take this stupid case"

He said with a groan as he banged his head on the table catching a few people's attention in the coffee shop. Yugi cleared up his throat as he tried to bring Yami back to earth.

"Okay, let's talk about this rationally"

Yugi said take a sip of his coffee as he gathered his thought and cleared up his throat.

"Let's say that you're right, you really love Atem but have you told him? Or did he tell you?"

"I told him and then I think I've might have  broken him"

"What do you mean?"

"Well he was confused and then he looked guilty"

"How would you know?"

Yugi asked in surprise causing Yami to immediately to blush.

"He started sending me flowers and then he would get frustrated to get his feelings in order and when...well...it's no longer just sex....but passionate sex"

Yugi bite the inside of his cheek.

"Hmmm I could see why your preferences has changed"

Yami rolled his eyes.

"I am not gay Yugi. I'm still straight but with Atem, he will be the only guy I would sleep with. This is no longer about me fucking a guy it's about me falling in love with the wanted criminal, the enemy of the state and I don'tknow what to do"

"I wish I could help you on this Yami but I see no way out of this, it will just end badly between you and Atem. Maybe you should just enjoy the moment with him while you still can"

Yugi said sadly to his friend. Yami sadly looked down and nodded.

"If that's the best advice that you can give me, then I'll take what I can get"

Yami said before finishing up his coffee.

Yugi said just before Yami was about to stand up.

"What is it?"

Yami asked.

"What made you snap? I mean like what made you tell him that you love him?"

Yugi said tilting his head to the side curiously. Yami blushed as he tooken a deep breathe.

"I saw him with a women and she was giving him a blowjob in front of me. I wanted to leave, I felt angry but he refused to let me leave until he was done. Then we spoke in private and the next thing I knew, I confessed"

Yugi said.

"So overall, you snapped because you were jealous"

Yami nodded as he stood up.

"So what are you doing now? Now that you're in witness protection"

Yugi smiled.

"Grandpa and I decided to open a game shop with every toys, games and video games"

Yami smiled.

"Sounds like fun, maybe I should drop in every now and then"

"You're more than welcome, just make sure you buy something"

He said with a playful glare causing Yami to laugh. Yami did a small stretch before looking to his watch and saw it was just about time for to start heading to the club.

"Alright then Yugi, I will see you again soon"

He said as he left the coffee shop.

*Outside of Cairo's Nightclub*

"Atem, you didn't"

Yami said in shock as he looked to Atem leaning against a black lamborghini holding up the key in his hand before making his way to his boyfriend.

"I wanted to"

He stated simply as he stroke and caress the side of Yami's face.

"It's yours"

Atem said lovingly to Yami's ear before embracing him from behind.

"But this is too much, please take it back"

He said trying to pull away but Atem held him in place as he rest his head on Yami's shoulder.

He said softly to Yami causing Yami's heart to flutter as he leaned his head against his.
