Jeno hoped down off the roof before holding his arms out. "Come on, I'll catch you."

"Alia!"

I quickly jumped of the roof into Jeno's arms. I smacked my head into his, throwing him off balance, taking both of us to the ground.

"Damn." Jeno groaned. "Are you hurt?"

I pulled myself up. "I'm fine, we need to go."

Jeno took a deep breath and got up.

"Out on to the roof huh?!"

Bullets flew, braking the glass in the window.

"Shit." Jeno hissed, he grabbed my hand and we took off down the driveway.

As we were about to step into the street when Renjun pulled up with Jaemin in the passenger seat. Without a word Jeno and I got in and Renjun floored it down the street.

"What the fuck is going on?" Jaemin asked.

"I think my dad is probably back at the house bleeding out." I rested my head in my hands, trying not to cry.

"This is fucking insane, her asshole step brother hired a fucking hit man! You fucking rich people, I swear to god!" Jeno was breathing heavily.

"An hit man? Are you for real?" Renjun questioned.

"My dad is dead." I felt like curling up into a ball, my hands were shaking and my breathing was unsteady. "I've got to call the cops."

"I've got it." Renjun grabbed his phone out the cup holder and dialed 911. "We need police and an ambulance to the... what? But we just... yes ma'am. I understand, we'll drive to the precinct now."

"What's going on man?" Jeno grabbed Renjun's shoulder.

"They're already on their way. Someone already called." Renjun put his phone back the cup holder. "They want us to come to the police station now."

Timeskip

As we pulled up the car was surrounded by armed police officer.

"Alia Jones and Jeno Lee! Step out of the car with your hands up!"

I stared at Jeno, my heart sunk when I realized what was happening. I took a deep breath and stepped out with my hands up. Jeno joined me soon after.

The police officers swarmed us, putting us both in hand cuffs.

"What's going on?" Jaemin went to open the door.

"My shitty ass half brother set us up." I gritted my teeth.

"Officers, there's been a misunderstanding. We didn't..."

The officer holding on to Jeno shoved him forward. "Zip it, Kid."
