The bags where almost finished. I put the last few things in there and zipped it up. I dragged the luggage down the way too many stairs into my living room. "It's going to be nice visiting England," I say with a smile. I walked into the kitchen, grabbing some snack food that was primarily all junk, but I didn't care. I shoved it in my bag, grabbed my ipod and headed off to the airport. I climbed into the taxi I had called and told him the address of the airport. I should give mum a call, and make sure she can make it. I take out my phone, and dial her number. I hear a click on the other line, indicating she picked up.
"Hello, Mum? You there?" I say into the speaker. "Yeah, I'm here, y/n. What do you need?" She asks. "I just wanted to let you know that I'm on my way to the airport now, and that I'll be boarding the plane soon." I told her as I was nearing the airport. "Okay, I'll be there to pick you up when you land. 8:30, right?" She checked. "Yeah, 8:30 is when I land. Okay I have to go, see you soon!" I said, excitement driving my voice into a shrill note at the end. I paid the taxi driver, who was helping me with my bags. "Thank you for the drive over here," I said while handing him a bit extra than the amount I owed him. "You're welcome, miss." he said, tipping his hat to me. I scurried off to the plane I was supposed to be boarding soon. I got through the security after being poked and prodded by the machines. I got on the plane and grabbed my Ipod, setting on airplane mode. I went to youtube, looking through the recommendations. "Phil is not fire 6" one of the videos read. I clicked it out if curiosity, waiting for the video to load. Once it did, I stared at one of the people who was on screen and almost fell out of my seat. "P-Phillip!" I said, mouth hanging down.
