Just got my computer back, so I'll be writing a bit more. This is just a short little chapter since its been so long since I've updated

Lionpaw woke with a numbness in his paws and his heart. All this talk of the future- his future- was a bit tiring, seeing as he couldn't see any strides made towards this supposedly amazing future.

"Get up, up, up!" Camofur nudged him out of the nest sharply.

"What?!" Lionpaw snapped, glaring at Campfur as he stood, shaking the miss free from his fur.

"I don't know. Venomstar's called a meeting." Camofur shrugged and trotted out. Lionpaw hissed after him and sat at the entrance of the den.

"I'd like to announce properly that as per Lionpaw's request, I am changing his name. He feels his name does not fit his position. His name from this day on will be Tinypaw." Venomstar's announced, and the clan began chanting.

Lionpaw's legs shook with fury. He couldn't believe this. He stood up, shivering with rage, and screamed at the top of his lungs, letting all of his frustration and pent up anger bleed into the sound. The entire clan fell silent, and Swiftflame couldn't even look in Lionpaw's direction. Even Venomstar stopped a moment, a look of shock on his face.

When Lionpaw was finished, he stormed off out of camp by himself. He just needed time to be alone, time to plan his revenge.

((A bit of Darkpaw's POV that Necro told me c: Tell me if I got this wrong, Necro))

Darkpaw almost couldn't believe the sound that escaped his brother's mouth. He was even a bit frightened. Skypaw beside him was shivering like a leaf, absolutely terrified.

"Excuse his.... Upset. I suppose he's changed his mind. I will speak with him. Meeting dismissed." Venomstar leapt down, his tail lashing.

Darkpaw just growled. All this attention was being given to his brother, and through all his efforts to be noticed, no one cared. He'd show them.

"Let's go." he muttered to Skypaw, stalking off to find Swiftflame.

When they approached, Swiftflame tried her best to back away. But there was no where for her to go besides slip into a wall.

"Tell me why Venomstar pays so much attention to my brother." Darkpaw demanded, baring his teeth. The apprentice was a rather large, slick black tom. He was very intimidating when it suited him.

"I-I don't know, I swear!" Swiftflame squeaked, shaking her head frantically.

"Liar!" Darkpaw hissed, letting his hackles raise and his claws unsheathe. Skypaw backed away with a whimper, terrified.

"I-I-" Swiftflame started. She didn't finish. Darkpaw swiftly tackled her and pinned her down.

"Tell me!" Darkpaw snarled, biting her ear.

"Venomstar said he's training in the Dark Forest under Tigerstar and we also had a secret relationship before I got together with Venomstar and Venomstar wants to stop him from overthrowing him!" Swiftflame squeaked very quickly, crying out in pain as her ear started to bleed.

"You tell Venomstar about this and you'll lose your head next time." Darkpaw snapped and let her up, stalking off. Skypaw followed him out of sheer terror, and Swiftflame stayed right where she was.

So it was because Lionpaw was Tigerstar's favorite? Darkpaw would change that. He'd have to change that.

Darkpaw was going to rule the world someday, a world without Lionpaw or Venomstar.

A world of his very own creation.
