Warning: kinda a gory scene.

Some time ago.

Two male Hyenas and a female were fawning over a newborn hyena.

"Oh look at her Banzai she's so beautiful" Shenzi beamed.

"She's gonna make a great queen one day" he stated smiling at his daughter.

"No that's not fair" they turned to a pup who was the only one not happy about the baby.

"Janja we've been over this we still love you but Jasiri will be the future queen" Shenzi said annoyed at her son behavior.

"But I was born way before her" he growled narrowing his eyebrows.

Ed mumbled something in his own language.

"Ed's right we are in a matriarch clan son aren't you excited to be a big brother" he pushed him over to the baby.

She looked at him and smiled giving a bark but he just huffed and walked off.

The newborn whimpered thinking she did something wrong.

"No don't cry Jasiri you didn't do anything" Shenzi said rocking her daughter.

A few months later Janja was laying on one of the skulls when he saw Jasiri jump up.

"Hey Janja guess what" she said smiling and her tail all wagging around.

"Go away Jasiri" he groaned as his quiet time was interrupted.

"But I wanna tell you about my day mommy took me around the graveyard and showed me how to act when I'm queen isn't that cool" she squealed and bounced a bit.

"Listen runt if you don't go away I'm gonna push you off the skull".

She giggled not afraid of his threats thinking it was a joke and jumped on his back.

"Come on big bro tell me about your day".

"No get off" he shook his back causing her to fall into the dusty ground she sneezed.

"Janja"! Banzai shouted his name walking up with Ed.

The princess quickly recovered and went over to them.

"Hi daddy hi uncle Ed" she greeted them with her warm smile.

"Hi Jasiri" he said rubbing her head "why don't you and Ed go back to the den.

"Ok race you there uncle" she yelled laughing as they ran off Banzai glared up at his son.

"What is wrong with you pushing your sister like that she could have been really hurt" he barked up at his son.

Janja rolled his eyes "glad your happy about your little princess dad".

Banzai dragged him down "like it or not she is the future queen and your sister you need to be nice to her now come back to the den" he ordered walking off".

Janja looked down wishing he could rule the clan.

"Ah poor thing you should be the future leader not her" a dark voice suddenly said.

Janja jumped a bit it shock "who's that whose there".

A female lion came outta the shadows.

"Don't be afraid I just wanna talk" she smiled sweetly at him.

"Well I got nothing to say to a lion" he mumbled and started to walk away.

"Well what if I told you I could make sure you were leader of your clan" she told him.

His eyes widened he turned back and scoffed.

"Yeah right I doubt it" he told her.

"Oh I think I can my name is Zira what's yours" she asked smirking.

A few days later a younger Jasiri was chasing a lizard and caught it she smiled and went to her family's den with its tail in her mouth.

"Mommy daddy look what I got" she exclaimed happy to show her parents her first small kill but it fell outta her mouth as her jaw dropped.

All three hyenas laid dead by eachother all bloodied.

Jasiri ran up to them she nuzzled her moms nose "mommy wake up" she went to Banzai and shook him.

"Daddy" she said her voice breaking a bit she looked at her uncle his chest covered in blood she cried till she saw Janja enter the den she ran trying to hug him but he slapped her.

She gasped holding her cheek and looked up at him in shock.

"I am ruler over you now" he smirked wickedly.
