Kion felt sore he didn't know how much he ran especially with his leg hurt and wrapped in vines which were now coming lose.

The lion prince looked down to find a bit of blood seeping down his leg.

He laid down a big panting not once looking away from his leg.

"Hey your still injured dummy"! Jasiri scolded coming up getting a good look at his leg.

"Esh your gonna get it infected hold still" she quickly retied the knot examining it for a second.

"Why are you helping me" Kion finally asked a few pants in his voice causing the hyena to look up at him and shrug.

"Why wouldn't I help you you were hurt and dying" Jasiri simply told him examining the wound.

They stood there in silence for a couple minutes before he spoke up.

"I'm sorry it's just my dad had a bad history with hyenas always sad all of them are mangy stingy poachers".

Jasiri stared at him for a second Kion couldn't help blush at her beautiful sapphire eyes he snapped out of his gaze when she cackled.

"That's what you think we are mangy poachers ha".

Kion couldn't help but laugh along with her "yeah I guess at least Janja is a big one" he stated making Jasiri cackled louder.

"Yeah I guess we can agree on that come on let's get you back to the pridelands just don't run I'll assist you the way there".

"Ok I mean if you want to".

Jasiri held one side of Kion on as she walked Kion walked a bit with his other legs.

They talked the whole way laughing at jokes they did seem to have a lot in common.

"It's just my dad has these high expectations for me and my sister but I'm afraid I won't fufill them." Kion states after he started walked on his own again.

"Yeah I kinda know about that" he saw Jasiri look down for the first time seeing her sad before he couldn't question further she spoke up again.

"Wait" she placed a paw infront of him and sniffed the air a few seconds "were in Janjas turf but if you wanna get back just go up there".

"Asante Jasiri" he thanked her and climbed up the rocks a bit but heard a growl making him jump back down.

"Well well if it ain't Jasiri and Kion what are you two doing together on my turf."

The lion and hyena turned to see Janja approaching them along with his clan who were laughing slightly.

They began attacking Kion was astonished how great of a fighter Jasiri was but both were cornered due to being out numbered and Kions injury.

"Jasiri get behind me now" Jasiri looked at him confused.

"Can't believe I'm trusting a lion" she scoffed getting behind him Kion narrowed his eyes and roared.

The sudden wind shocked Jasiri suddenly seeing Janja and his clan blown away.

"Ok that's got to be the most funniest thing ever" Jasiri laughed.

"Yeah well you helped me"Kion smiled at her.

"Well I never thought a lion would help a hyena" she pushed him causing him to stumble.

They said their goodbyes once Kion was out of sight her expression changed to a frown.

She walked along to a volcano she heard Lions, Jackals and Hyenas whispering at her.

"So how did it go"Janja asked trying to get the pain out of his paw by shaking it.

"It was going fine till you furbrains decided to come attack us" she growled causing a couple hyenas to whimper in fear.

"Hey it wasn't my idea for that"Janja defended.

"It was mine" a dark voice said.

Zira approaches them causing most animals to whimper and Janja quickly got out of her way as she went to Jasiri.

"Well" she asked more like demanded impatiently causing Jasiri to gulp.

"He trusts me he thinks I'm one of them" she stated causing Zira to smirk.

"Excellent" she said in a hissed voice reminding them of a serpent.

"Soon everything will go according to plan".
