Kion was shocked at what he just heard he stared at the hyena who was now just looking at the ground.

He tried to place a paw on Jasiri's shoulder to comfort her but she brushed him off.

"Jasiri" he whispered wanting to make her feel better.

"Don't just don't" she snapped and closed her eyes holding back tears.

"I had no idea if I had known I" he started but she looked up and laughed.

"What tell your daddy my parents were the people who tried to kill them and are part of the reason his father is dead" she stated laughing.

"No I meant I'm not mad now I see you don't have a choice in all this".

"Kion think about it the only reason I saved your life because I was ordered to if I wasn't and saw you then I would have let your drown" she growled at him he glared right back at her.

"No I know you would've saved me either way because that's who you are Jasiri a good hyena".

She fell silent he took a few steps over to her.

"You don't wanna hurt me and my family you want to be apart of your own but now I know let me help you Jasiri let's find a way outta here together".

He tried to plead with her who just continued to look away so he gently grabbed her chin and made her look at him.

Kion gently smiled as their eyes met Jasiri smiled back and wiped a couple tears.

"Ok I'm with you" she sniffed and stood up.
